I've been coming to this dentist office for the past 2 years and I really like it. They have all new equipment and flat screen tvs. I have to admit I'm a pretty easier reviewer in this area. I take good care of my teeth. I also think I have naturally really strong teeth because I've maybe had 2 cavities in my life and no major dental work. So I can't really speak to any of their services other than basic cleaning and x rays. I will say that at my last cleaning the hygienist was probably new and a bit slower than usual. She casually lingered in uncomfortable areas which was slightly annoying but other than that, they're great. I have some slight crowding on my bottom teeth and they recommended Invisalign express. I've never considered it before because of the expense and the slight nature of my "snaggle tooth" (as my annoying/slightly endearing friend likes to call it). However, the amount they quoted me seemed incredibly reasonable; so I'm going for it! I'll update my review when I've completed that. For right now though and what I know of them, their basic dental work is great! read more

I think asked her about insurance and if they take it and she said I had to call my insurance company to verify. Payam Sooferi is by far the best dentist I have ever encountered. I visited my previous dentist for a routine check up as well as for a pain I was having. Xrays were taken and I was told I was in need of 2 root canals, and 4 filings. My previous dentist also recommended a night guard, and a deep clean. In the same sentence, they went into how they offer financing also. Due to the cost of the needed, and a suspension I had, I went for a second opinion. I provided the 2nd dentist the estimate I was given. The second dentist looked at my teeth and recommended the exact same, just at a lower cost. I then scheduled my appointment with Dr. Payam Sooferi for a final opinion, and was prepared to have him do the work as his rates were the most competitive. The office is emasculate. Spotless. The women at the front desk Angie was extremely friendly and helpful, as was the office manager Angeneh. While the dental assistant was preparing my xrays, I overheard another patient explaining to the dentist how she was told she needed 8 cavities, and was in for a second opinion also. The dentist being as straight forward as he is laughed, and said. "8 cavities? My dear, you have 1." I knew at that point this was an honest, and very straight forward dentist. Dr. Sooferi then examined me. None of the work the other dentists told me I needed was necessary! Dr. Sooferi explained how he encounters this constantly in his trade. I did not need 2 root canals and 4 fillings. I merely have the beginning of a cavity that he want's to monitor. Dr. Sooferi feels I may need a filing in about 3 years on that particular tooth. My pain was being caused by my bite, and the effect it's having on my gum. He also explained I was in no need of a "deep clean", but merely a normal cleaning. I had my cleaning done, and am scheduling a return visit to address the issue with my bite. In the last 2 days I have referred several people to Dr. Sooferi, and he will now be my permanent dentist. read more

This was a first time visit.I needed to get a check-up and get what I knew was going to be unpleasant news about teeth that had developed cavities 2yrs ago and have gotten worse obviously. When I walked into the office I was warmly greeted at the front desk and then given welcome to the office letter. Since it was my first visit I was given a tour of the office. When I was taken back for my cleaning the dental hygienist was extremely polite and made every effort to make feel comfortable. So many hygienists take that metal pick and jab it at your gums, She took the x-rays and thoroughly explained what was going on and what should be taken care of first, second, etc. When Dr. Sooferi came in I immediately felt at ease and knew i was going to be in good hands ( pun intended). He came across as someone who really cares about his patients and not just "Hi, here's what's wrong, see ya". As for expensive? Aren't all dental procedures expensive? Dr. Sooferi was very fair priced. But that's always been my experience, even with insurance. For me, I'd rather use one of the best dentist Glendale has, rather than hop from one to another looking for the best price. I would highly recommend The Dental Circle! read more

Dr. Payam Sooferi and his staff are very rude, & unprofessional. First off front staff?? Zero manners! No 'Hello' when you walk into the door. Every one so uptight and angry. If I had to work for someone like Dr. Sooferi I'd be angry too. I was told I needed more work done than I actually needed. Was quoted a ridiculous amount. When asked why I needed such work done he didn't explain anything just said that it needed to be done. He has this arrogance about him that makes you feel uncomfortable. I Don't know about you, but when I'm going to be laying down with my mouth wide open. I want someone who actually cares, and is kind, to go rooting around there. Not someone who spends less than 5 minutes to tell me what's wrong. Not even an X-ray!! I left and got a second opinion from a far more competent doctor!! Who told me I needed much less work, for a fraction of the price. Did you know he has complaints against his license?? I was hesitant to stray from my dentist, but, needed to find an office wherein I could have several procedures performed within one location, if necessary. Given the great reviews on yelp, I decided to give Dental Circle a try. I am glad I did! I phoned late on a Friday afternoon. Krista was very pleasant. She took the time to investigate my insurance, gave me a ball park of the fees I might incur, was extremely considerate of the pain I was experiencing and booked me for an appointment the next morning. Upon arrival to the office, parking was convenient (directly behind the office) and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Krista checked me in very quickly and within minutes I was in the dental chair. Ana was very accommodating, ensuring that I was comfortable while she performed x-rays and prepped me for Dr. Pedram. Dr Pedram was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, offered to show me the x-rays and explained exactly what my options were. It turned out, I needed a root canal, which he performed with ease. I definitely do not agree that the office is "money hungry", so to speak. I say this because I had a cracked tooth. It was previously suggested that I would need to extract the tooth and proceed with an implant (which is extremely expensive). Dr. Pedram suggested a root canal in attempt to avoid extraction. If they only cared about money, he could have very easily advised me to extract and proceed with the implant (a much more expensive option when compared to a root canal). Dr. Pedram also showed great concern when I expressed to him how much pain medication I was consuming. He offered alternatives to "protect my internal organs". That's definitely not something that someone who only cared about money would do. The office is an open floor plan, so, you do hear and see the work being performed on other patients; however, I did not find this disturbing or invasive to the work I was receiving. I would definitely recommend this office to family and/or friends. read more

Stay away from this dental office unless you enjoy lazy and rude office staff. I called to make a first time appointment and instead of doing their work like other dental offices and confirming my insurance, they told me I needed to call my insurance and confirm my coverage myself. When I told them that they we're listed on my insurance page as being covered, they told me to hold on, kept me on hold for several minutes then came back telling me they didn't have time to look into it and that I would need to call back. I asked if I could just make an appointment and they could confirm when I came in. The receptionist said not unless I gave my social security number to them over the phone. I hung up, call the next dentist on my insurance's website and immediately made an appointment no problem. read more

I just moved to Glassell Park from Pasadena and was looking for a new dentist closer to home. Searched on Yelp and read good reviews about Dr. Sooferi and The Dental Circle so I've decided to call to make appointment. I called a month in advance to make an appointment for a general cleaning. The girl who helped me on the phone took down my insurance information and told me she would contact me if there was any problem. I did not get a phone call back expect an appointment reminder call so I assumed everything was fine. I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early. The state of the office was in total chaos that day ( it was a Tuesday morning). I usually choose early weekday mornings to avoid long wait time thinking people are usually at work. The office manager told me they had overbooked for the day. She asked for my insurance again and said she did not have time to call them yet. She only had like a month to do it. I ended up waiting 45 minutes to finally get to see Dr Sooferi and it was only for a consultation. I specially asked for a generally cleaning to be included in with the consultation since I was aware that is the procedure of every new patients. The receptionist should have inform me that the two can not be done on the same day. Dr Sooferi is a nice guy but I do not think he is very knowledge in his profession. He was the only dentist who told me I did not need gum graft when the past three dentists and 2 periodontists had recommended that I would have the procedure done. Instead he recommended bonding to slow down the receding gums. Which is beneficial for him since he would charged me for a hefty procedure on 12 teeth. I was skeptical and told him I would think about it. Instead of further explaining his recommendation he told me to go home and google it. By this I was wanted to schedule my appointment to get my teeth clean and find another dentist. I scheduled to come back in 2 weeks to get the cleaning. The office opened at 9 am and they scheduled me at that exact time. Being a good patient I arrived at 8:50a. Door was closed and lights were off. The office manager did not get there until 10:15a. I was livid and she even have the audacity to ask how my morning is going without an apology. Finally got my cleaning done by 10:30 and literally the dental hygienist was done by 10:45. The whole cleaning took only 15 minutes and I've waited around longer than the whole procedure. I don't know how long other places take to do a general cleaning but with my old hygienist she usually spend 45 to 60 minutes with me. The office manager dresses like she is about to go to a night club. She was wearing 4 inch heels and a tight mini dress. They had loud hip hop music playing. I'm a big fan of hip hop music and clubbing but not for my dental office. It was so unprofessional. On top of that they were speaking in their language and chit chatting with each other while I was sitting in the chair with my mouth wide opened. It reminded me of the nail salon. I don't know how this place got good reviews before. Maybe it's from the employees' families and friends who gave these reviews. I was fooled and I feel that I should share this so others won't be in the same predicament. The one star is for me not being able to give me a negative rating. read more

A friend of mine recommended me to this place so i decided to give it a try. I am really glad i did because since the time that i called to the actual visit and treatment, the have been the best dentist i have been to. Customer service is outstanding. I decided to look for a dentist in Glendale thats close to my job, that does implants. I came across Dr. Sooferi's office. I decided to go in for a consultation, the receptionist Krista was very friendly and gave me a same day appointment. Dr sooferi saw my xrays and said I had excellent bone to place the implant. Ana was able to help me with financing and I was able to get my implant done that same day. Noelly the assistant made sure I was good through out the whole procedure. I stopped by to checkout Dr. Sooferi's office because I heard that the office won the 2014 best invisalign orthodontist award in glendale. The design of the office was very nice so, the dentist has pretty good taste. He was very friendly, spending about half an hour with me, showing me some of the cases that he has done in the past that were similar to my case. I was sold from his extensive experience in invisalign. I also got a free cleaning and whitening with my invisalign treatment which was pretty cool. The hygienist did a very thorough job, but was very gentle. It was definitely well worth my visit. read more

I am beyond amazed and grateful for the service I received at this dental office. First off, they saw me the same day as my wisdom teeth had been hurting very much. I was very scared but the doctor put me at ease and pulled 2 of my 4 teeth right away! I was really very nervous but to say it was painless and easy was an understatement. I googled " best dentist Glendale" and this office came up on the first page of Google. I went in for a consultation on front veneers because I heard Dr. Sooferi's specialty is dental cosmetics, and he is one of the top cosmetic dentists in Glendale. The office looked beautiful as the pictures suggested. Dr. Sooferi was very charming and the staff was extremely polite. He actually spent an hour with me to explain the entire treatment to me. From the look of the office I thought it was going to be very expensive, however his quote was actually lower than the other dentists I had visited. He truly made me feel comfortable and bought my trust. The treatment was very easy. He uses a new device for dental injections that was totally painless. I hate dental injections and the vibrator that he uses truly takes the pain away. I loved it. I would grade him as the best dentist in Glendale. I got referred to the dental circle by my cousin that went there for some dental work. I was looking for a dental clinic in Glendale that specializes on dental cosmetics. I have to be honest, just the look and the design of the office sold me the case. This was a beautiful office. they showed me their previous cases that they had done. They gave me an amazing make over. i have to admit I spent a lot of money. dental veneers are very expensive. but its worth every penny. My smile is very natural. They were very organized and gave me a quote that was lower than I was given before plus a complimentary teeth whitening after completion of treatment. I really liked the doctor. These people are completely rude and threaten to send a bill to creditors for a missed appointment despite me arriving 10 minutes early. They tried to charge me more than my normal out of pocket fee and I questioned it, they replied saying that they are out of network with my insurance. I told them they did not inform me despite them calling the day prior to confirm my appointment. The receptionist said that they had change since my first appointment with them. Again I questioned why I had not been informed of the change. I told them I did not feel comfortable moving forward with them as they are out of network and did not want to receive services. They replied that I would be charged an appointment cancellation fee which I refused to pay. I responded saying the fee was unnecessary as I had not missed my appointment but did not feel comfortable moving forward with an out of network dentist. The receptionist then threatened to send the fee of $35 to a credit collector and demanded that I sign a document stating I refused services when I told her I did not refuse services but was not provided the transparency needed as a patient to make an informed decision prior to my appointment and she said that's because you didn't ask. WHY WOULD I ASK IF I WAS PREVIOUSLY IN YOUR NETWORK!?!? The back and forth continue until they realize I would not back down and said fine I could leave. I immediately called my insurance as I left and they informed me that they were in fact in network with insurance. My husband called the dentist to make them take some accountability which they did not do. I eventually got on the phone with someone who claimed I had always been out of network and they had been having issues with my insurance all along which didn't make sense as the receptionist had previously told me they only recently changed. They continue to go back and forth and did not apologize once for their rudeness at all. All this for $35!!! read more

Why would I give this doctor and his staff 5 stars ? First , let me tell you that - unfortunately i have visited too many dentists in my life .so I can make the comparison. And wait till you read number 4 1. The staff is beyond nice - since the moment I walked in they made me a super nice welcome . 2. The place is super clean 3. Let's get to the point - they made my X-rays , and I was sitting with the doctor to view my teeth problems - I knew most of them but some I was surprised - for example - he showed me my latest dentist job - how she didn't fill the cavity properly and how I had a gap inside , and what could happen , I needed to do 2 wisdom teeth extraction plus , a tooth canal 4. During the treatment he told me big news you don't need to do a root canal only cleaning and filling . Let me ask you that - what kind of dentist will be so trustable? You know what's the difference in the price between tooth canal + crown compare to just a simple filing I'm telling you, I'm sold by this doctor . I need to do more cosmetic treatments and I know I'll do it with him . 5. I did one in my life wisdom teeth extraction, Facebook swallow for and next week and bleeding , but this doctor told me don't worry - I know what I'm doing and sure he did know . Doctor sooferi is a preferred provider for invisalign and that shows that he is very experienced in invisalign orthodontics. I checked his profile on Google and yelp and all the reviews were positive. I decided to pay him a visit in glendale office. So far I am very satisfied with my invisalign treatment. I went to the dental circle for a third opinion on implants for my upper molars and premolars. Before going there, every dentist I went to said that due to the major bone loss in that area and presence of sinus, it is impossible to place the implants. first let me tell you that this office is beautiful, well organized and nicely operated. I was seen by at least four specialists in his office until Dr. Sooferi gave me his final verdict. He used the exact words "impossible but doable... we have to do a massive bone grafting, a monster sinus lift, and have some luck on our side". It has been over a year since they placed the implant crowns of my implants. I went in for a check up this morning and everything seems to be OK. They saved my life. Dear doctors thank you for giving my teeth back to me. My life would have been hell without them. read more
