I've been going here for a very long time and had no problems with anything there. the people that work there are nice and understanding. the care quality is good. I used to have panic attacks about the Dentist but not anymore. I went there for teeth cleaning and some cavity fillings. everything always goes well and fast. Under no circumstances should you come here. Came in for a cleaning and after an X-ray, they said I had one tooth with a cavity on the side and in the middle. Had it drilled and the bite and filling was way too high. Never hurt to floss in between my teeth before and after I got it "fixed" here, i started to get considerable pain. Now the tooth is in severe pain and nothing cold can touch it. Never had a problem with it before. Went to a new dentist and they said filling was horrible, too high so my teeth were cracking it, so they tried to redo it because they said most likely due to the pain a root canal was needed but they wanted to try to fix Dental Dream's mistake first to see if they can avoid the root canal. New filling didn't work, there was too much decay from the first filling that went wrong. Never had any problems with my teeth before coming here and never had a root canal in my life. Now, I'm spending thousands to get a root canal on the tooth they messed up. Do NOT put your health and teeth in this place's hands. You will come in with no problem, and then all of a sudden say you have one, drill into your teeth, make it worse, and then you'll have to spend thousands to get it corrected by someone who actually knows what they're doing. Don't skimp out on going to a very good dentist who is skilled. This place can do stuff for cheap, but they can't even do a filling correctly. The most unprofessional and incompetent dentist I've ever been to. Do not waste your time

This place Is a joke! This review is for the Fall River location. The so-called dentist (her name started with an A. Once I find the paperwork, I will update) I go in there, She looks at my xray and tells me it's infected, and I need to go see an endodontist for a root canal. I went to the endodontist, and she said said my tooth was not infected, and I didn't need a root canal, I just needed a filling. So, stupid me, goes back to dental dreams and I get the same moron dentist who again tells me I need a root canal. I immediately left and made an appointment for another dentist at another business who also confirmed I didn't need a root canal, and nothing was infected! The new dentist did the filling and sent me on my way. Avoid Dental Dreams at all costs. Some of these "dentists" are either to lazy to do the work or have noooo idea how to read an xray. read more

Wow, I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. Called Dental Dreams after I broke a tooth (a front tooth(canine) at that!). Hadn't been to a dentist in a few years, bad case of dentist anxiety. I was practically in tears when I called but the woman I talked with was SO very kind and was able to get me in fairly quickly. Thankfully, they were able to do a root canal. It took about 3 weeks for my crown to come in, longer than I had hoped, since the Dr didn't put a temporary crown on (not sure if it's because it was a front tooth?). Anyway, it was worth the wait. I've never had a crown and it being a front tooth, I was so afraid it would look weird or out of place. Holy cow - you can't even tell which tooth was crowned! The Dr did an amazing job and I cannot believe how great my tooth looks. Plus, the ladies at the front desk are THE best - so kind and friendly. Made this dentist fearing patient feel so much more at ease. read more

I called them and told them that I will need a bridge done and they said they can do it so I scheduled appointment and went there, they gave me 6 papers to fill up and after that they asked me to sign a bill of $420, I asked them what for? they said this is cleaning fees , I told them I'm not here for cleaning but they told me that I have to sign it and that my insurance will pay it but I refused and asked to see the dentist, they were mad but they let me see the dentist, the dentist said nothing more than what I know and she asked for xray so when I did it she said that they dont have the right tools to work on my case and she referred me to another dentist, I was mad because on the phone they said they can do it, I asked them to give me the xray to take it to another dentist (as my insurance will cover limited amount of xray every year) but they refused unless I sign the $420 cleaning bill !! that really makes no sense as they charged my insurance for xray and they kept it and a month later I received a bill from them for about $80 for the same visit which I still dont understand it. read more

I have been to many dental offices. A few weeks ago I went here for a clean up. It was a very concerning visit. The male dentist who performed my clean up did a HORRIBLE job. Let me reiterate that I've been to MANY dentist offices. Some were good some were decent. I am not overly picky. This is the first time I even made a review on a dentist practice. The dentist was scaling my teeth to remove plaque and the way he did it was sooo very sloppy. To the point he quickly grazed by a few teeth as if they didn't exist. I understand being in a rush I guess but to so obviously do such a horrible job was offensive. He used the water scaler fine on a few teeth but most of them I'd say 90% of them he just ignored. He would let the device graze my gums without even bothering to scale them! It was sooo bizarre. He scratched my gums at the lowest point where there is no teeth to even clean! I look forward to this plaque removing visit every year and I never had such a bizarre experience. It is not fair to treat clients this way. I'm very sad and upset because I feel it was a waste of the visit which my insurance only covers one time per year. Despite this horrendous experience, the dentist was very nice. The front desk ladies were very unprofessional chatting inappropriate things in spanish. I don't look like I know Spanish but I do. They acted like an immature sorority group. Overly done makeup as if they were heading to the club right after and an attitude to match. It was a very bizarre experience. Again, at least the dentist was kind. He truly was. But the way he sloppily treated my teeth was very concerning. I'm very sad for the people in Fall River who get this treatment. Please don't be this way dentist. Maybe don't overbook so many clients. Or maybe go back to school. Thank you for taking the time to read. There's a stigma to chain dentists. The word on the street is to stay away from this place at all costs. Well, I'm here to give my honest opinion of my experience. I couldn't find any dentist office open the Friday after Thanksgiving. They were literally the only place who answered the phone. And because I was in so much pain, I didn't have the luxury of being picky. First off, every single person I've encountered there was SUPER nice and professional. All Covid protocols followed to a T. I couldn't have anything done that day because I had an infection and had to be on antibiotics for a few days. When I returned 3 days later, I had to get my tooth extracted. I am one of those people who gets extreme anxiety at the dentist. I can't tell you how patient and comforting they were with me. The dental assistant was just the sweetest thing and she let me squeeze her hand if I needed to, and Dr. Tapal was as gentle as possible and told me everything she was doing as she worked. I've literally never had a better experience at a dentist. If you do consider going there, I would ask to see Dr. Tapal. I can't speak for any other Dr. there but my experience with her and their staff was the best I've ever had at a dentist. read more

I went here once for a cleaning. NEVER AGAIN! It's like a high school hangout. When you're sitting in the waiting room and you overhear a receptionist say "Well, this is dental dreams..." in a sarcastic tone, you know it isn't a good sign. Staff were everywhere just socializing. They were loud and obnoxious. For example, I hear a door slam followed by the statement "Woo you do not want to go in there for a while!" I think its safe to assume he left the bathroom. And then I hear the same man addressed as doctor. If that is the professional level of the DOCTORS...well then hope is lost for that place! I will say the female doctor I had was actually professional and mature, which is rare in that place apparently. If my life depended on it and I had no choice but to return there, then I would request the woman I had. Otherwise, I would just suffer. I need a filling and am choosing to pay out of pocket rather than return here.... read more
