Midway through my procedure, while I was already in the chair and unable to object, I was suddenly told there would be an additional $400 charge because the dentist "found another post." This was particularly frustrating and suspicious because I had already paid $200 for a 3D scan -- a scan that, by its advanced nature, is supposed to show these exact details before the procedure begins. It felt like I was being upcharged for something that should have been detected and disclosed in advance. When I calmly pointed out that this felt like a scam and was ethically questionable, I was met with immediate hostility from the office manager, Linda. Instead of engaging in a professional dialogue, she became defensive, removed the $400 charge, and then had the audacity to tell me, "You should just be thanking us that we took it off," as though I owed them gratitude for not being overcharged for something I never agreed to in the first place. Later, when I attempted to call and speak to her respectfully, she cut me off and snapped, "Don't call me love," in an unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful tone. Her overall behavior was unprofessional and dismissive -- especially considering I was trying to resolve a legitimate concern about transparency and billing. What stood out even more was her attitude when I said I would be writing a review about my experience. She brushed it off and essentially said, "Go right ahead," making it clear she had no interest in accountability or improving patient care. On top of all this, I had the same procedure done a year and a half ago at a different dental office and only paid $300 with insurance. The discrepancy in price, coupled with the surprise charges and aggressive attitude, raises serious red flags about this office's billing practices and ethical standards. To be completely honest, I couldn't help but feel that Linda was especially dismissive because I'm a Black patient who dared to speak up and question what was happening. I didn't come in yelling or disrespectful -- I came in informed and concerned, and I was treated with contempt for it. Patients deserve honest communication, ethical billing, and to be treated with respect -- regardless of their race or background. I will not be returning, and I hope others take note before trusting this office with their care.

The dental rooms are new with state-of-the-art equipment. My dentist recently merged with this group which is the apparent reason for my first visit here. Other than my dental hygienist being the same person, and my dentist as well, there is not much more I can review at this time. I have been extremely satisfied with my dentist and dental hygienist for years. We shall see where this goes in months to come.

I asked him if there was ANY possibility that the pain could be temporary and the root could be saved and he said ABSOLUTELY NOT. I believed him and scheduled an appointment for the root canal procedure. Luckily I changed my mind when I found out he would not perform an electrical test on the nerve. PS- the pain went away all by itself. Plus, Dr. Casale was extremely rude. I merely asked him which number tooth needed the root canal. He said number 6 but I counted 5. And for that he accused me of "playing dentist". I was never once rude to him or disrespectful. He has a very arrogant and condescending attitude. They purposely do bad work to later make you need to fix the work. The crazy thing is they all have each others backs and cover for all the lies. They promise you certain things and then lie that they never said that. She and her staff were understanding and accommodating. They paid attention to his needs and the visit went smoothly. They even played his favorite songs in the room during the successful cleaning. I specifically made the appointment for repair to take place that day. He was called and asked to return since he apparently had just left without informing anyone else there. He refused. I was asked to return the next day. I agreed to call my boss to let him know I would be late to work. I was given a price of $600 to simply attach a tooth to a denture. I told them that price was exorbitant and would not return. PS, I had my denture repaired elsewhere for 50 percent less. Never experienced anything like this before.
