Dr. Wilson took a lot of time to explain everything about procedures and answered all questions thoroughly, he is definitely an expert in his field. This is an extremely well run clinic, all the staff are very professional and caring towards the kids. We felt confident our child was in excellent hands, she felt very comfortable and did really well with their treatment plan. Thank you Smile Center!

I want to recommend Smile Center for Kids for both kids AND adults dentistry…read more The kids were nervous but they were able to see other kids being serviced and it reassured them. The staff members were kind as I had both kids for cleaning at the same time and they were seated at opposite ends so I had to walk back and forth to check up on them. Parents are welcome in the back to observe. My kids and I are wimps and this location off Sunland park have the most patient staff. The hygienists and dentists have the gentlest hands. I know I fell asleep when she worked on repairing a filling. They worked with our schedules and we all were able to get our cleanings and fillings done with our insurance. Billing was very clear and they asked permission before doing any procedures. I felt very safe with their COVID procedures. They do temperature checks and limit capacity. I believe they have a East and West location and went to the Sunland park location. Best of all it's right across from Gorditas Tony so we're able to get yummy food right after.

We came to Children's Dental Clinic of Las Cruces for my son's first dental appointment. We arrived…read moreright after their lunch break for our 1:00 appointment. It was pretty busy at that time but the staff keeps it well organized so everything ran smoothly. The had 2-3 flat screen TV's playing Disney's Cars to keep the kids entertained. There were also plenty of art/crayon boxes and books to keep the kids occupied while they wait. Surprisingly, we only waited about 1-2 minutes and my son was on his way to the chair. The Dr. was great and explained the procedure for the 1st appointment making sure to keep my son as comfortable as possible as well as Mommy and Daddy. After he was seen , he was entered in a raffle for a free CD stereo (this office has been known to give out Sony PSP's in the past, too). He was also given a Peter Piper Pizza certificate for a free personal 7' pizza and drink. He also left with a goody bag with stickers and a toothbrush. Nice touch!

Our experience today was incredibly disappointing…read more I took my children in for their routine dental cleanings, and before the dentist had even examined them, we were told they would not receive a cleaning unless I agreed to X-rays. My concern wasn't that X-rays are never necessary--it's that they were being required before anyone had even looked at my children's teeth to determine whether they were actually needed. As a parent, I believe medical procedures should be recommended based on the patient's individual condition, not as a mandatory prerequisite for a routine cleaning. If the dentist had completed the exam or cleaning and found something that warranted X-rays, I would have absolutely been willing to have that conversation. Instead, we were told no X-rays meant no cleaning. When I questioned the policy, the staff became argumentative and brought the dentist into the conversation. He explained that requiring X-rays was to protect him from liability. Respectfully, his liability is not my primary concern--my children's healthcare is. I should be able to ask questions and make informed decisions about my children's care without being denied a routine cleaning because I declined a procedure that had not yet been shown to be necessary for them. Families deserve individualized care, open communication, and respect--not blanket policies that leave parents feeling pressured into consenting to procedures simply so their children can receive basic preventive care. We left without my children receiving the care they came in for, and that is unacceptable.

My grandson kept his mouth open the whole time and when prompted opened wider . Then DR Pain came in and did not even introduce himself. He just kept asking if i have any questions. He proceeded to do the exam on my grandson and i guess the dr was in a rush as he yanked my grandsons mouth open to look at the back of his mouth. He proceeded to aggressively bush on the vitamins to his teeth. What kind of vitamins ? obviously if its a vitamin i can purchase it over the counter. My grandson had an overall okay experience except for the dentist. I thought this was a kids dental clinic which catered to children and were compassionate and gentle . Not this DR. The rest of the experience was good. Front desk, games and ice-cream after told not to brush for 8 hours.

June 2021. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to review "Texas Kids Dental Care" Let's…read morebegin with we are a Military family who moves lots and the first time we were in Fort Bliss we found out that whomever was my child's dentist 1. was not part of our network and 2. didn't have a specialist in house. So, to avoid having to pay extra for services and going to different locations for care we were referred to "Texas Kids Dental Care" (their east location off of Joe Battle) and we were perplexed by their facility. From that moment on, both my child and I loved going to the dentist. Then, the military moved us to a different state and every time we visited a dentist we couldn't stop thinking about "Texas Kids Dental Care" So, we came back to Fort Bliss (El Paso) and we were originally referred to a different dentist and we highly disliked it. Then, I called this new location near Sunland Park and was happy to know they were accepting new patients. Let me tell you why Texas Kids Dental Care Rocks... 1. Their staff is Happy and their costumer Service reflects it 100% 2. Quality Care, 3. Massage Chairs in the waiting area 4. Water, Ice Cream, popcorn, cookies is always offered 5. The waiting area consists of: Carrousel, Theater, play area, tablets, and free large arcade. 6. During service, kids have TVs on the ceiling where they can watch their favorite movies. Yup, at this point I don't understand how can the rest of the nation has not yet moved to this rocking dental experience. They also have partnered with an Orthodontist and offer orthodontist work. Don't go anywhere else!
