One of the most important things for me when it comes to finding a new dentist or getting dentist procedures is how comfortable I feel in the establishment and with the dentist. Well, you've heard it here, this dental office has BOTH. This office is unique is many ways, and has a beautiful aesthetic and okay area for children. There are games such as PAC Man, TVs, open-areas and the lighting is amazing. The staff is very welcoming when entering and throughout the business. Such a beautiful experience overall. Cindy was pure JOY, she was professional, caring and did emphasize throughout our journey that THIS business is specialized and trained to work with children. My niece had a great experience and first visit for her exam, she is excited to go back. Cindy's care, sharing of stickers and tour really made us feel welcome and cared for. Dr. Bowden shows great care and interests in his patients. He was able to be flexible and fit us in for an appointment the morning of our visit. It's located in a great area! read more

Make yourself a favor a don't go here,I took my two boys and right away they mean business,told me they both needed braces. My last Dentist,"he moved"never even mention that!. My oldest always likes to have perfect attendance at school,but the lady that cleaned his teeth said she couldn't give me an appointment after school. I am so thrilled with the services my 4 year old daughter received at Dr.Bowden's office. Each and every staff member we encountered on her visit was warm, genuine and simply happy! I made a mistake! One I will never make again. Let me share... My son was born with a pretty big overbite. When he was about 10 or so we took him to Dr. B. The staff took care of him in magical an welcoming way. This place makes you just feel good walking in. As the progress took place my son's teeth became a source of great pride for him. He to this day has not stopped smiling. The kid looks great. No issues with self-esteem there anymore. Thank you all for such a magical deed. Ooops... The mistake! One that I will for ever regret. My daughter, my little princess... For some inexplicable reason that escapes me, I took the route of allowing another dentist to work on her teeth. It was not a specialist. Thinking my personal friendship with this dentist was good for her, I had the work for my daughter done elsewhere. This was a big mistake. It now ranks high as one of my top 100 disasters I personally have made in my lifetime. Cutting the story short, my daughters teeth were not aligning well. She, felt horrible. I felt horrible. Like deer in headlights we new time was ticking, high school was around the corner. We all felt bad. The day came when I had to personally seek a better alternative. I logically returned to Dr.B. Tail between my legs, I brought my daughter to him. He was kind, his staff was so welcoming. They even did not ask why I was such a knuckle head. I knew this. They were highly professional with the transition. Immediately, they took command and began fixing the train wreck. Within weeks the new set of braces took its direction. She is smiling and has great hope. I know now, we are going to be ok. I have no bad to say about the other doctor. It was my mistake. One I hope is taken well by those who read this. Dr. Bowden is easily the best dentist I have ever had or my daughters. His staff is calm, kind, and gentle. Dr. Bowden did my adult braces which I had never had before and worked with all my concerns and needs. He also was the first dentist my 2 young daughters had. 1.5 and 6months when they each started with him. If I could afford to fly back to Texas every dentist appointment I would because he is worth it. My kids have now gone to 2 other dentists since we moved away. And they have no fear and are excited to go. I know it's because of the way Dr. Bowden practices and lets the kids get treatment. I am actually sitting in the pediatric dentist office now my 5yr old just went in back alone to get a tooth extracted (bicycle accident) with no fear. I throughly give the Dr. Bowden practice all the credit for teaching kids to not be afraid of the dentist and that it can be a fun experience even when they are getting some work done! read more

NO PARENTS ALLOWED! Dr Bowden does NOT allow parents to be with their children during the visit. It his policy that children will not be as anxious without the parent present (Parent must sign this consent) When i expressed a genuine safety concern for my child, Dr Bowden raised his voice at me and told me if I didn't agree with his policy, I could leave. Not only is this a safety issue, this also a "overbilling/insurance fraud" issue. Who cares if the kids get icecream! Parents, speak up! This is NOT NORMAL. I took my 4 yr old son to get work done and it was a lot of work unsure if all the work was necessary but i went ahead with it to be on the safe side. They told me at the office that i had to pay upfront because my secondary insurance would not pay them once my primary insurance paid out. I called my secondary insurance on September 30th and they informed me they paid them on September 15th which tells me they took forever to make the claim and also tells me they sat on my refund for over 2 weeks imo thats unacceptable they want their money upfront they should ensure reimbursement in a timely manner as well. So on September 30th i called the dental office and whomever I spoke with informed me that i have a $1500 credit. Credit? No give me my money! She told it takes 7 to 10 business days again i think is unacceptable you want your money upfront I should receive my refund in a timely manner. I told the lady do not mail it I'll pick it up to cut down on the time it takes. She said ok I will call you to let you know when it arrives. It is now October 19th I call to check on the status of the refund and they proceed to tell me they mailed it!!! Lol its comical how poorly they handled this situation. My son is healthy thats most important i give them a 5 for that and a 1 for everything else so they get a 3 from me!!! read more

Would not recommend this dentist. They have a no parents in the back policy. My 4 year old daughter went for her second visit and is terrified and doesn't want to go back because they held her down to take x-rays. When my 10 year old asked if she could get me, the staff specifically told her no. Do not go to any doctor where you are not allowed to go with your kids. read more

My three children have all gone to Dr. Bowden since they were little. The experience that each one of my children have had has been awesome. Dr. Bowden and his staff are amazing. They are very professional, genuine, and caring with my sons and daughter. We have been going to Dr. Bowden now for almost twenty years and each visit has been a great experience. The ambiance is a positive and happy feeling. I think this is what has made office visits a pleasure, particularly when my kids were little. My kids are now 23 years old, 19 years old, and 16 years old and they continue to have positive experiences visiting Dr. Bowden and his staff. They have been to Dr. Bowden for both pediatric denistry and orthodontics. Both Steven and Andrew have had very positive experiences. My daughter Kristin just went to Dr. Bowden on Tuesday for her six month dental appointment and walked out of the office happy as usual.
