WENT IN FOR A TOOTH EXTRACTION.. the office manager showed up with a 8200 dollar quote on all the dental procedures he recommended for me... i told him i dont have that kind of money and he said they can set me up with patient solutions an awful bank that charges outrageous fees and he said the inicial check would not affect my credit and that was also a lie. I have since moved and have been getting me dental work done in St Pete at a REAL dentist office not a DENTAL HEALTH SALES EXPERTS place. After paying for the exam and getting done with it, they informed me they wouldn't pull my teeth and referred me to an oral surgeon that wanted $1000 to pull 1 tooth, went to another dentist who did it for less then $200. added 11/1/17: in addition to the issue mentioned, I was told I would not have to pay for another exam, but the oral surgeon they referred me to refused to accept the exam from anywhere else and told me I would have to get them done at there office instead, which was included in the original amount posted. Not only was the dentist who pulled my tooth not some specialized oral surgeon, they were able to see me and extract the tooth with no problem. Took over 3 months to reply to this and almost a year to reply to the other ladies post, but at least i changed mine same day to reflect that they refused to pull my tooth. read more

Let's begin with the fact that when you go to the bathroom you can see where a previous patient was so upset with this place that they spit blood all over the bathroom . That should have been my first warning to come Second don't bother with the cleaning they advertise they will X-ray try to charge you for a bunch of stuff you don't need and then tell you they don't have time to do the cleaning and try to schedule it for another day Third they run this place like a business you will have a man come a pitch you what service you need mind you he's not the actual dentist and doesn't really know what he's talking about but he's good at bs and trying to up charge you. And here's the best party they will use you information to try and sign you up for a 3rd party lender and will keep trying different lenders. This not only lowers your credit score but these website clearly state not to let someone else fill in the information. They are basically applying for a loan in your name falsifying information Finally. After speaking with the dental assistant extensively and being told the range of 99.00 - 200.00 for an extraction an appointment was made after the x-ray and being correct on which tooth needed to be extracted another price of 300.00 was given which did not include the exam. Not a good practice to bait someone and expect them to be happy with the price change, After paying for the exam and leaving to seek a professional opinion from an oral surgeon the price with exam as well as extraction was under 200.00 Surgeon stated there was no need for any surgery and anyone would of known by looking at the x-ray the roots were not deep enough. I found no expertise at Dental health Experts. I had 13 extractions and some temporary dentures made. It took 3 separate tries to make the impressions for the dentures, (over 2 visits) and the den still came in wrong. The teeth wouldn't even meet in the back. I have been back several times to have a soft liner put in the temporary dentures. The 1st time the liner fell out. The 3rd time I ripped it out. They lined the entire upper even though it only needed lining in the front. I am now demanding a $3500 refund so that I can get my dentures made elsewhere. read more

Their practices are despicable. They will bill you a reasonable amount, through an estimate that never reflect the amount you will actually be paying for the treatment. To your suprise, they will nickel and dime you and charge you for amounts you've never heard of. Be extremely weary of their estimates!!! You are in it for shocker. I went to Dental Health Experts for X-Rays, & Cleaning. It took 45 min for my X-Rays because equipment kept malfunctioning. During the X-Rays they passed the X-Ray gun back in fourth between rooms never changing their gloves one hand on the gun the other in my mouth and vice verse. After finally completing X-Rays i was told I would have to come back for my cleaning because they only do cleanings on certain days and the day I was there was not one of them.. I explained that this is why I made the appointment and if I couldn't get my teeth cleaned I wouldn't of come that day. The secretary then jumps into the conversation and calls me a liar that she told me they didn't do cleanings on certain days and i chose to come anyway. Upon checking out I requested copies of my X-Rays, I was told they can give me a sheet of paper with a black and white printout and that was it. I asked if I could get the X-Rays emailed to me I was then told that was not possible because the X-Rays are digital and they do not have the capability to email. I was shocked that this office could not email a digital X-Ray. I believe this office to be to lazy to send an email or possible just to incompetent. I would encourage everyone seeking Dental treatment to do so at a more competent and professional office. read more
