I've been a patient of Dr. Agader for over 15 years and have always received professional, courteous, and friendly service. Dr. Agader is a professional and expects that from his assistants, hygienist, and receptionist/clerk. Their care for their patients is impressive to me. Example: While flossing on a Friday night a molar cap fell off. I called their office and left a message and by Monday morning they called me back to squeeze me in between scheduled appointments. I went in to try to get a filling fixed and that didn't even happen, instead they tried tacking on more stuff to fix that I don't even want, like getting a root canal! I had to pay over $30 just for them to look at my teeth. Didn't even get any work done! The lady at the desk and the lady helping the guy were awesome, just not the guy. try not to treat your employees like an asshole when you have patients around that can hear you. I chipped a front tooth and was able to make an appointment within a week. The staff was helpful and pleasant over the phone, and even emailed/called me to confirm. The day of my appointment I arrived early because they had said to come 15 minutes early and even told me where I was allowed to park. (there's a yellow line that solid the parking lot where you're not allowed to park) but before that the parking is 3 hours. I already had filled out my forms online so I didn't have to wait long. It's a shame that I have to write a bad review. It seems like a nice dental office. The ladies that I had the chance to speak with, were friendly. I made an appointment nearly 2 months ago as a new patient, I was told their appointment take about 4 hours. My appointment was for April 28, 2015. I requested off work, received approval. They called me 3 times on 2 different days, twice on blocked numbers (which I don't answer). I work in an office where we cannot answer our phones during work hours. I called them back, when they were closed, left two voicemails for them. I received another voicemail today stating that since I didn't respond to them, they cancelled my appointment. None of the voicemails prior mentioned that if I didn't return their call that this would occur. My appointment was cancelled, apparently, on March 31st, my appointment was scheduled for April 28, 2015. So, roughly 4 weeks out. Really disappointed. read more

I would absolutely recommend this place to NO ONE. You would think with the "comprehensive exam" that this dentist really cares about his patients. WRONG. The tooth that I said was sensitive did not even get any work on, but he did find that my bottom right molars needed fillings, which did not ever cause me pain in the first place. His words to me after the comprehensive exam were, "Wow I'm surprised, I thought there was going to be much more work needed." Well he certainly made more work for me.... After getting my fillings, my tooth began to consistently become more sensitive to food and water. It would get major shocks and then with time it became a dull and constant pain, which needs to be relieved with ibuprofen 600. It's a pretty bad pain affecting even my jaw. Of course, I called and left a message. When the receptionist called me back she asked me questions like are you sensitive to the air you breath and is it interfering with your life? Well, yeah it is. So she tells me, "Well sounds like the dentist put some trauma to your tooth and you'll need a root canal." What???? I never had an issue with this tooth to begin with, and I can't afford another procedure. To be honest, I'm not surprised something went wrong. He was more focused on finishing the job quickly then taking his time and doing it right. He constantly told his assistants, "Okay this is going to be really fast; let's do this quickly. C'mon let's do this quickly. Can I start now, are we ready yet?" So I feel that it is only right he fix my tooth at no charge. When I requested this, the receptionist tells me "Well, that's not going to happen. The only thing you're getting free is the parking." Wow...and she goes on to tell me that I signed a paper that says I was willing to take the risk. Well, I took the risk and actually received a consequence for the first time in my life from a dentist, but I did not say I would pay for this dentist's mistakes. She actually blamed me, too, because I chose to do the silver fillings over the resin composite. I've had silver fillings all my life and have had no complications, until now. The nerve of this establishment...Clearly time is money here, and quality healthcare is not the concern. He rushed through my procedure, made my teeth worse, and is not willing to fix his mistake at his own cost. In a nutshell, I would never trust this dentist with your teeth or anyone you love's teeth. Do NOT bring your children here. If what you want is someone who really cares about your teeth, find a different dentist. read more

Also, I did feel some backlash from one of the staff members (specifically one of the women at the front desk) regarding my choices in my plan of care. Then she said that if I became their patient, they would do everything there, including removing my teeth. Also, they don't take payment. I would have to apply for a special dental credit card. Unfortunately they insisted on charging me $75 dollars until each of my treatment appointments. Who does this? I can see if I no-showed and they charged me a penalty.... but to hold money up front for months? I had been there 4 times, I even came in at different times when they needed me to because a patient cancelled. They even said I was a great client. But nope, they insisted on holding the money until my next crown 4 months away. I really liked the dentist and the staff and think they do great work! It's the principal that I am essentially penalized for being their customer, and to hold money in advance for no reason is a great way to lose customers. My old dentist couldn't schedule me for a crown after I had a root canal. She could only get me in for a consultation in 3 weeks when I needed not only a crown on one tooth but, I had a started having pain in a second tooth. I called Dr Agader's office and spoke with Nicole who's fantastic in running the front office and she got me in to see Dr Agader within a day. Dr Agader takes his time to explain what's needed for a successful outcome and actually lays out a plan and gives you several options. Bottom line, he scheduled me for the next day to examine the tooth pain and found a cavity under the crown which could not be seen by just an X-ray. He resolved the pain issue in that tooth and now we are ready for the crown fittings and all of this was handled seamlessly. Everyone in the office was so nice, professional and accommodating. The thing his office stresses is that they don't do a "volume patients" practice, rather they spend the necessary time to explain the plan they think will work for you with your input which is refreshing. Hopefully he'll be my dental professional for a long time, and I highly recommend his dental office to anyone who doesn't want to feel like just another patIent being run through a practice. No stars! Horrible service!! Unable to accommodate emergencies! Wanted to change dentist and move forward and they literally would not give up my medical records! They dragged their feet and gave me the run around! Unable to actually speak to the doctor! He wouldn't speak to me directly. Always with a patient or in a meeting! His secretary was literally in the middle and in the end they still haven't given me my medical records and want to charge me fees for my records. No customer service at all!! I was going to wait until I was a few appointments in to write a review about this place, but I'm convinced that this is the best dentist I've been to. Ever. Rewind to the beginning... I called on June 23 to ask if they were currently accepting new patients and luckily for me, they were! The person I spoke to asked questions about my dental history (which, IMO was pretty bad - before I called, I hadn't been to the dentist in YEARS... don't judge me, I haaated going to the dentist!), she scheduled me for a comprehensive exam in August - their soonest available opening. She went on to explain that unlike other dentist offices, the doctor prides himself on being very thorough, so a complete comprehensive exam would take somewhere along the lines of 4 hours. Why so long? I believe everything from examining, cleaning and x-rays are done at this appointment. I told her how I also thought I needed to replace a lost filling, and she said that if I wanted to, they could fit me in sooner to address that specific tooth if it was giving me discomfort, so we scheduled it for June 30. June 30: I went in for my scheduled appointment - I was told to arrive 40 minutes early to fill out the necessary paperwork. Dr. Agader came in and looked around my mouth - turns out I needed work done before I could get to the filling... I told you it was bad. We took some x-rays and talked about a treatment plan. Obviously the cost of everything was a concern of mine, so we went over a few different scenarios and options and came up with a solution. Fast forward to today: I had to get my bottom two wisdom teeth out. Now, for someone who dislikes the dentist with a passion - you could say I was freaking out. Buuuut Dr. Agader and his staff quickly put my fears out and it wasn't even that bad! The worst part (aka the most painful part) throughout the whole thing was getting the shots to numb my mouth. Within an hour I was out of there! There's still some work to be done obvi, but so far it's been awesome! Thank you Dental Perfections, keep up the good work! read more
