Some dentists I've met go on dental cruises, some have expired licenses on their X Ray Machines, and some rather ask for fees than stay in contact. But Dental Elements is NONE of these. I've found them all a compassionate crew of dedicated orthodontic experts determined to make a positive difference in every client's dental health. Your mouth is not just a collection of teeth, not to you, and not to Dental Elements. To myself and other patients, I consider the staff warm, friendly, and prompt, from sending appointment reminders or communicating via text to helping us feel comfortable in the waiting room or while seated in their office. I found the expertise and consultation they offered in service to dental needs making me consider the calcium in my mouth more valuable than any other polished mineral, metal, or gem. I can't do the community of Dental Elements enough justice. I asked her should I make a different appointment to somewhere else she say no she can do it this time for me and literally take her five minute. She's clean for me and it's not even worth the time. It's like in and out I pay with my private insurance. This is the worst experience I ever have. Nothing is clean it's usually take my old dental 45 min but it's far so I want to give it a try somewhere close to home . When people schedule for something like that they should be honest with them that they don't do full mouth implants and look for somewhere else .

Had a few teeth that needed addressing (put off going because of the last visit and horrible treatment at another office). From the first person I spoke to when making the appointment, to the dental hygienist and finally to the dentists - this office is like no other. Everyone (and I mean everyone) is so nice, compassionate and caring. Ended up with four filling replacements and Dr. Nutter took care of them in one visit. This is the first time that I can recall having multiple teeth worked on and having NO pain. I am so thankful for being referred here and I actually look forward to my next appointment (something I never thought I would say).

I never truly had a good experience at the dentists office. When I recently moved to the area, I decided it was time to find a new dentist. From the moment I called to schedule the appointment, all the way to meeting Dr. Platt, everyone was beyond kind and caring! They were so helpful! The dental assistant Lori & my dentist Dr. Platt truly changed my mind about going to the dentist! They made me feel extremely comfortable AND they are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to knowing what is really going on. I made the appointment at the recommendation of my niece who had been seeing Dr. Millett for years and loves him. I learned while making the appointment that Dr. Millett does the Business portion of the practice and no longer practices dentistry. I had an appointment today at 11:40 AM and arrived at 11:20 in order to fill out the paperwork. I was seen at 12 PM and had x-rays but a very professional dental hygienist by the name of Frankie and then I met Dr. Fiect Who examined me, stated that I needed all types of dental work and then said he had no time today to fix my Loose bridge. I insisted that the reason I attended today was because I was medically concerned about it. Because I pressed, he attempted to remove my bridge and then informed me that he would not be able to do so without damaging all the teeth around it. He then asked me if it made me feel any better he could give me antibiotics between now and my next visit if I was concerned about infection. Then I was told that they did not have time to clean my teeth today. I've never had this experience in my entire life. I quickly called my former dentist and made an appointment for Monday morning at 8 AM in order to address my medical concern, and then I filed a formal complaint. Something is seriously wrong there and I informed, my niece that Dr. Millett is no longer the acting dentist.

There are other good pediatric dentist in the area, dont waste your time because they will waste yours.

During a checkup after her cleaning he cut her gums (not the gum line - but the actual gum/cheek tissue) so bad with his instruments that she couldn't chew for over a week. We were sent a survey after that visit since we were new patients and I responded that the visit was great, but mentioned that Dr. Zhang could be a little gentler next time. We returned 6 months later, and he could not wait to tell me that it my daughter's post visit gum irritation was from not brushing and flossing (she actually takes pretty good care of her teeth and does both routinely). He took no ownership for cutting up her cheek/gum conjunction which I viewed right after we left the office when it was fresh and bloody. My daughter dreaded every appointment thereafter because of her experience with him each time. At this next visit, Dr. Zhang tried pushing fluoride treatments on my daughter. We don't use fluoride toothpaste because we have sensitivity to it (rashes, cracked corners, and blistering around mouth). We use natural toothpaste at home that doesn't have fluoride. None of my 3 kids have ever had a cavity (they're teenagers) up until the last visit (was due to braces). With good brushing/flossing habits at home and the sensitivities I don't have them get the add-on treatments (that aren't always covered by our insurance). When I declined the fluoride treatment, Dr. Zhang gave me a long lecture about it, instead of asking me why we chose not to have it. He also assumed I hadn't done any research (my sister is a hygienist, so we are well informed in addition to keeping up on the studies). I told Dr. Zhang about a study that found no difference in preventing cavities if fluoride was used or not. He knew about that study but tried to push me to just do it anyway. Today my daughter and I came in together for our back to back cleanings. Normally, they come out and ask for consent for the X-rays and fluoride for my daughter. I found out after the appointment they did both without asking me for my consent this time. My daughter is one of the people in our family that has a reaction to Fluoride toothpaste so we will be monitoring for a reaction. When it was my turn, the hygienist informed me I was due for X-rays. I politely declined (which I have never done in the past FYI) the X-rays and explained I was worried about too much radiation in that area. I recently (in the last month) had 3 CT scans (in area), and 3 sets of X-rays from the base of my spine up to my head just the day before my dental appointment. I was concerned about how much radiation that area of my body would be getting in a very short period of time and requested they be done at my next cleaning. The hygienist informed Dr. Zhang I didn't want x-rays. He comes in, frown faced, not bothering to say hi, and began to tell me how I need them. First off, I had a medical concern for not wanting them at that moment. But what if I couldn't afford them? Patients have a right to decline any part of treatment for any reason. Does Dr. Zhang understand that? I told Dr. Zhang that I didn't appreciate being pressured and that I would like to be informed but not pressured by him. He didn't like my response and demanded that I tell him why I didn't want the X-rays. Again - BECAUSE I SAID NO should have been enough. Even though I didn't owe him any explanation, I explained about the tremendous amount of imaging I'd had done very recently in the area and wanted to give my body a break until next time. He then responded that I could not get my cleaning because I chose not to have the X-rays. My response back was that there wouldn't be a next time because he was fired as our dentist. Can anyone tell me why I was denied a cleaning because I wanted to delay getting my X-rays? Right. There is no rational reason I was denied healthcare (my cleaning). I was denied care because he doesn't like me. Thats ok because me and my daughter definitely don't like him. Do I doubt Dr. Zhang can fix teeth - no, probably not. Does Dr. Zhang have patient skills - absolutely not. Is Dr. Zhang gentle when he should be - nope - my daughter has had cuts and scrapes with every visit. Does Dr. Zhang respect patients' opinions - he could care less. I also suspect Dr. Zhang has a quota to make each month because he seems very dramatic and insistent about certain treatments he claims are critical/urgent. I've never been to another dental office where the dentists behaved like Dr. Zhang. Something is not right with that guy. Before Dr. Zhang denied me to get my cleaning, my daughter came out of her appointment and begged me to go to a new dentist. She was very happy when we left that office because that's exactly what we will be doing.
