Note: my experience in this office was with Dr. Craig Taylor who is Dr. Paul Korb's business…read morepartner. I was referred to this practice by my local dentist, Dr. Christine Dawson due to a cracked molar. My phone interactions prior to my appointment on Thursday January 7th was great. While I had to wait at their office before my procedure was done, the staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. Jean was my consultant along with Dr. Taylor; both of whom explained in detail my options, were knowledgeable, understanding and helpful in getting me set up for an extraction. Dr. Taylor took time in both the consultation AND when getting ready to perform the extraction. Joan was the 'post' op person who was likewise: attentive, friendly and gave me all the information needed. There was also an African American female (said she lives in Duluth) that assisted in the procedure and was super nice as well. Considering that NO ONE wants to have this type of surgery, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is in need of dental implants. Kudos to the entire office!

This guy is a crook. I went in for a dental implant on my front tooth. I lived in Johns Creek at…read morethe time and was referred to Korb from my dentist. After an evaluation, he said I needed braces. Because he doesn't like to just fill a hole. I was 50 years old. I wanted an implant because I had a cap and was afraid of it just falling off when traveling or whenever. Anyway, that was my reasoning. So I then got braces for 2 years. Had the implant which was way off plus a veneer on the tooth next to it. Then he sent me for a root canal which I seriously don't believe I even needed. The implant after 7years was loose and fell out. I rushed to a periodontist. They sent me to a dentist office I went to for another implant crown. The screw was loose and got infected. So 25,000 later w grafting and a flipper for 2 years. I got another implant and crown. It has been awful, expensive, time consuming. My gum has receded so much the implant crown is huge. I wish I had just left my teeth alone. They looked much better before I began this process. It has been a very expensive Night Mare. Thank You very much Korb. I would post a picture of my teeth before and after but it won't let me do it here.

The absolute worst experience with a dentist in my life. I have tried to give the benefit of the…read moredoubt and gone in multiple times, but I have had enough. Everytime I come in the dentist has not a clue about my history. I have come in with a history of abscesses and a history of jaw surgeries and the dentist I saw does not do anything. They examine and send me back where I came from. I am always being sent to other offices, they are reluctant to even prescribe and antibiotic even with my history. I have left every time frustrated, in pain, and unsure what to do because they don't hear me. The front desk girl I saw today was the first person I interacted with that seemed to genuinely care I was struggling and in severe pain. Go anywhere else for your dentistry needs.

When calling for hours to find an oral surgeon for an urgent condition, I was blessed enough to speak with Isabelle. She answered my questions about insurance and was able to fit me in that afternoon due to a cancellation. Isabelle was very helpful, kind, and extremely calming and caring when I was very anxious and worried. When I arrived, I checked in with Jessie who had a personality that was welcoming, friendly, and very bubbly. Together Isabelle and Jessie were a dream team and went above and beyond for me. Both ladies had such positive attitudes, were so respectful to one another with the kind words they used when interacting with one another and the other patients. I met with Dr. Cho who was very timely, direct, informative, and suggested an immediate plan of action. Dr. Cho answered all of my questions thoroughly and allowed me to me to feel at ease and I instantly felt very confident snd comfortable with my upcoming surgery. The team was able to fit me in right before Christmas, as opposed to having to wait until January, which was beyond appreciated. Jessie stayed late to call insurance companies, after her work hours and even called me to give me an update on what to expect. This is unheard of in a world of mediocre at best service and communication. Jessie's clear communication and immediate follow-up were amazing! She scheduled my procedure for the following day, amazingly! Another member of the team called me to follow up after the procedure was completed to see how I was feeling and asked did I have any questions or concerns since arriving home. Together the team resolved my issue and made it such a positive experience. Overall, this team was amazing and such a blessing to me! Their kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service were appreciated and I want them to be recognized and applauded for the role each played in getting me back to being healthy. You guys were outstanding!

Staff and doctor were great at consultation and before and during my extraction. However once I…read morereceived my claim from my insurance I was overcharged by $400. Called the office and they say the billing department would have to reach out to me. No one has yet to reach out to me so I called the office later this week ( today ) and was told I was sent a $55 check ?? So I call my insurance to confirm I was indeed owed $400 so we call the dental office back again and she says the same thing but adds there's no number to reach out to them only email but when you call you have the option 3 for billing but no one answers. I just don't like when I'm owed money and offices take their time giving it back but if you owe them they blow your phone up with texts , calls and emails.

I had oral surgery at Atlanta Oral and Facial Surgery Alpharetta location on December 1, 2025. The…read moreprocedure itself went very well, and the surgical team--including Dr. Velez--was excellent. They were professional, skilled, and made me feel comfortable during a very painful situation. I'm grateful for the quality of care I received on the clinical side. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I specifically chose this provider because Dr. Velez was in-network with my Medicare Advantage plan and had successfully treated me in the past. Despite confirming that I had valid coverage, I was required to pay $4,574 upfront on the day of surgery. I was in severe pain due to mandibular tori that had grown together along both sides of my lower jaw, so delaying the procedure to sort out billing or insurance issues simply wasn't an option. I paid the full amount that day out of necessity. Now, nearly five months later (as of April 24, 2026), I have still not been reimbursed the $4,546 that is owed to me. According to my insurance, my responsibility should have been approximately $30. The lack of timely reimbursement and the burden of such a large upfront payment have caused significant financial stress. While I highly commend the surgical team, the billing practices and follow-through have been unacceptable. Patients--especially those on fixed incomes--should not be placed in this kind of financial position after being assured of coverage. For this reason only, I provide a "buyer beware" at this practice. I am hoping that we will finally get some response from the billing team after much correspondence to them both from me and my insurance company so far to no avail.
