After an evaluation, he said I needed braces. Because he doesn't like to just fill a hole. I was 50 years old. I wanted an implant because I had a cap and was afraid of it just falling off when traveling or whenever. Anyway, that was my reasoning. So I then got braces for 2 years. Had the implant which was way off plus a veneer on the tooth next to it. Then he sent me for a root canal which I seriously don't believe I even needed. The implant after 7years was loose and fell out. I rushed to a periodontist. They sent me to a dentist office I went to for another implant crown. The screw was loose and got infected. So 25,000 later w grafting and a flipper for 2 years. I got another implant and crown. It has been awful, expensive, time consuming. My gum has receded so much the implant crown is huge. I wish I had just left my teeth alone. They looked much better before I began this process. It has been a very expensive Night Mare. Thank You very much Korb. I would post a picture of my teeth before and after but it won't let me do it here.

However, I then learned he assumed that because I was 17 years old, I broke my jaw because I was drunk and fell (not the case). When I did meet him and told him I broke my jaw by fainting, he then insisted I fainted because I was stressed with school (again, not the case). He continued to impress on me and my mother his OPINION on the cause of my accident instead of focusing on his profession of repairing the damage. He disregarded what I told him when I would describe things I noticed and felt with the movement of my jaw, to the point where he would directly state to me that I was wrong. As my treatment progressed, this same patterned of behavior continued. In the end, Dr. Korbs "treatment" resulted in my need to follow up my oral surgery with orthodontics because Dr. Korb ignored my insistence that his work was shifting my teeth. At the end of the process, my bite was not in line and I continued to have discomfort and locking with my jaw. Now, a few years later, I am finding myself in enough chronic pain that I have to re-address the poor job Dr. Korb did in aligning my jaw. In summary, Dr. Korb performed bad work and made my already traumatic experience infinitely worse with his ignorant and condescending personality. Do not go to Dr. Korb, and do NOT take your children to Dr. Korb.

When calling for hours to find an oral surgeon for an urgent condition, I was blessed enough to speak with Isabelle. She answered my questions about insurance and was able to fit me in that afternoon due to a cancellation. Isabelle was very helpful, kind, and extremely calming and caring when I was very anxious and worried. When I arrived, I checked in with Jessie who had a personality that was welcoming, friendly, and very bubbly. Together Isabelle and Jessie were a dream team and went above and beyond for me. Both ladies had such positive attitudes, were so respectful to one another with the kind words they used when interacting with one another and the other patients. I met with Dr. Cho who was very timely, direct, informative, and suggested an immediate plan of action. Dr. Cho answered all of my questions thoroughly and allowed me to me to feel at ease and I instantly felt very confident snd comfortable with my upcoming surgery. The team was able to fit me in right before Christmas, as opposed to having to wait until January, which was beyond appreciated. Jessie stayed late to call insurance companies, after her work hours and even called me to give me an update on what to expect. This is unheard of in a world of mediocre at best service and communication. Jessie's clear communication and immediate follow-up were amazing! She scheduled my procedure for the following day, amazingly! Another member of the team called me to follow up after the procedure was completed to see how I was feeling and asked did I have any questions or concerns since arriving home. Together the team resolved my issue and made it such a positive experience. Overall, this team was amazing and such a blessing to me! Their kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service were appreciated and I want them to be recognized and applauded for the role each played in getting me back to being healthy. You guys were outstanding!

I'm grateful for the quality of care I received on the clinical side. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I specifically chose this provider because Dr. Velez was in-network with my Medicare Advantage plan and had successfully treated me in the past. Despite confirming that I had valid coverage, I was required to pay $4,574 upfront on the day of surgery. I was in severe pain due to mandibular tori that had grown together along both sides of my lower jaw, so delaying the procedure to sort out billing or insurance issues simply wasn't an option. I paid the full amount that day out of necessity. Now, nearly five months later (as of April 24, 2026), I have still not been reimbursed the $4,546 that is owed to me. According to my insurance, my responsibility should have been approximately $30. The lack of timely reimbursement and the burden of such a large upfront payment have caused significant financial stress. While I highly commend the surgical team, the billing practices and follow-through have been unacceptable. Patients--especially those on fixed incomes--should not be placed in this kind of financial position after being assured of coverage. For this reason only, I provide a "buyer beware" at this practice. I am hoping that we will finally get some response from the billing team after much correspondence to them both from me and my insurance company so far to no avail.

He was in pain and needed the procedure, so I wasn't going to argue at the time. It has now been almost nine months, and I still don't have my money back. The insurance company made three attempts to send the office a check, which they claimed they never received. They finally received and deposited the check in June 2026, but now refuse to refund me because the account shows a balance. That balance is from a completely different date of service where the office made a billing error by submitting a tooth they had already submitted months earlier. I had to find the error myself by reviewing the EOBs and explain it to them. Now they are using their own billing mistake as a reason to withhold the money they owe me.
