Note: my experience in this office was with Dr. Craig Taylor who is Dr. Paul Korb's business partner. I was referred to this practice by my local dentist, Dr. Christine Dawson due to a cracked molar. My phone interactions prior to my appointment on Thursday January 7th was great. While I had to wait at their office before my procedure was done, the staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. Jean was my consultant along with Dr. Taylor; both of whom explained in detail my options, were knowledgeable, understanding and helpful in getting me set up for an extraction. Dr. Taylor took time in both the consultation AND when getting ready to perform the extraction. Joan was the 'post' op person who was likewise: attentive, friendly and gave me all the information needed. There was also an African American female (said she lives in Duluth) that assisted in the procedure and was super nice as well. Considering that NO ONE wants to have this type of surgery, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is in need of dental implants. Kudos to the entire office! read more

This guy is a crook. I went in for a dental implant on my front tooth. I lived in Johns Creek at the time and was referred to Korb from my dentist. After an evaluation, he said I needed braces. Because he doesn't like to just fill a hole. I was 50 years old. I wanted an implant because I had a cap and was afraid of it just falling off when traveling or whenever. Anyway, that was my reasoning. So I then got braces for 2 years. Had the implant which was way off plus a veneer on the tooth next to it. Then he sent me for a root canal which I seriously don't believe I even needed. The implant after 7years was loose and fell out. I rushed to a periodontist.They sent me to a dentist office I went to for another implant crown. The screw was loose and got infected. So 25,000 later w grafting and a flipper for 2 years. I got another implant and crown. It has been awful, expensive, time consuming. My gum has receded so much the implant crown is huge. I wish I had just left my teeth alone. They looked much better before I began this process. It has been a very expensive Night Mare. Thank You very much Korb. I do not recommend Dr.Korb. I broke my jaw and was referred to him by my dentist. Initial I thought it kind of him to come in on his day off to evaluate the damage. However, I then learned he assumed that because I was 17 years old, I broke my jaw because I was drunk and fell (not the case). When I did meet him and told him I broke my jaw by fainting, he then insisted I fainted because I was stressed with school (again, not the case). He continued to impress on me and my mother his OPINION on the cause of my accident instead of focusing on his profession of repairing the damage. He disregarded what I told him when I would describe things I noticed and felt with the movement of my jaw, to the point where he would directly state to me that I was wrong. As my treatment progressed, this same patterned of behavior continued. In the end, Dr. Korbs "treatment" resulted in my need to follow up my oral surgery with orthodontics because Dr. Korb ignored my insistence that his work was shifting my teeth. At the end of the process, my bite was not in line and I continued to have discomfort and locking with my jaw. Now, a few years later, I am finding myself in enough chronic pain that I have to re-address the poor job Dr. Korb did in aligning my jaw. In summary, Dr. Korb performed bad work and made my already traumatic experience infinitely worse with his ignorant and condescending personality. Let me start with the doctors are excellent. I needed a tooth extraction and an implant. My oral surgery was scheduled for December 9, 2021, the day before I went in to pay and sign the papers. Since it is a big amount of money, I used my 2021 dental insurance $1,500, (Flexible Spending Account) FSA $1,300 and paid the extra amount with a cash . On the morning of the oral surgery Gene called and told me, dr. Korb got sick. So we postponed the surgery for December 21st, 2021. I am a kidney transplant patient, it is very important to eliminate any infection. I got an infection and the tooth which was scheduled to be extracted got also abscessed. I ended up in the hospital on the 12th. When Gene called on December 14th, 2021, I explained how important is to get the tooth out. I was on heavy dose of antibiotics for the tooth infection,according to my doctors the sooner that problematic tooth comes out the better it is . Unfortunately, Gene called only to cancel the 21st appointment due to the doctor's illness and told me they are closed for Holidays. She promised she will call me January 2022. For me abscessed tooth isn't only a painful experience but also potentially dangerous for the kidney. Apparently, that didn't concern the oral surgeons office too much, since they January came and no one called. The first week of January, I called the office, they promised to call me back. We played this game for 3 weeks When I was really surprised, a friend of mine, who referred me to this office, told me she called in the beginning of January about her tooth and already had an appointment beginning of February. I called again and got to Gene, who very nonchalantly informed me they can take me on February 28. It made me feel they got my money and now they concentrate on other patients. The surgery itself was better than expected. But I can't get over how much money I lost due to the office's negligence. -my $1,500 dental insurance for 2021 was lost -I am still dealing with the FSA, the amount had to be used in 2021, and I have to prove why it wasn't. Of course, it was promised that the office will write a letter explaining why the surgery was postponed; however, they never did. - the 2022 dental insurance which had to used for the surgery and I wanted to use it for the crown. Now that will come out of my pocket. As if I haven't lost already enough money due to the office negligence, they sent me an $800 bill to pay. This is the slap on the face for their incompetence. Even though the doctors are excellent, but my advice is KEEP FAR AWAY from this office, unless you want to pay almost twice the procedure's price, get tons of stress, and getting additional bills for their mistakes. read more

Do you know what a 'flight risk' is?? It is ME. How on earth Dr. Korb, Dr Taylor and staff put up with my fears I will never know. There are not enough words to express my humble thanks. I AM HERE TO SAY I HAD 5 implants done and I had no pain. The tender care from front office to entire nursing staff, Dr. Taylor and of course Dr. Korb was outstanding! I sincerely thank each of you. For a new patient seeking dental work hear me loud and clear these people care!! They call and check up and if by chance there is even a small problem they get you right in. Read other 1 Star reviews as well. Wish I had read those before I chose this doctor. When I went there for extracting my wisdom teeth, I was told that the total cost of the procedure will be 2200.00 USD out of which my insurance can pay an "estimated" 1100.00 . Rest was charged to me personally. Which I was OK with. Fast forward 2 months and I start getting bills from this facility stating that the insurance has only paid 500.00. I have not changed the insurance and there are no other claims or any change in procedure. So I simply have to cough up the difference. If they had told me that insurance will only cover 600.00 USD then I would have gone to a different doctor who could have dome it for lesser amount. Its a simple tooth extraction after all. I have not seen a difference of 25% between estimates and actual cost for such a standard procedure. If you are planning to use this facility then plan on getting a hefty bill after the procedure is done. And if you don't pay then you get threatened with legal action. read more

In August 2016, we had an initial consultation with Dr. Korb for my daughter's blocked duct. The office estimated our out-of-pocket cost to be $1,800. Closer to the actual surgery date, I again requested Dr Korb's front office to verify out of pocket expenses. They told me that they "confirmed" the $1,800 with my insurance company. I paid at this at the time of my daughter's surgery. In March 2017, my son had his wisdom teeth extracted. I paid their "confirmed" $1200 at the time of my son's procedure. In June - three months or more after the fact - I received another bill --- and it showed that their estimated out of pocket was way off. They are asking me to pay an additional $1,700 for the two surgeries!!!! This is an additional 60%. How could the estimated out of pocket be so far off? There were NO changes to my insurance in that short time. There was NO extra work during the procedures - everything went as anticipated during the consultation. The procedures were fine, The front office, however, yikes! I called SEVERAL times to ask about what happened. I left messages and received NO return calls. I felt the old "Bait and Switch" was employed here. The front office folks are clueless and unwilling to address their mistakes .... or worse. Update - This negative review is not of the doctor but of the front office. Perhaps the insurance estimate by the front office is an *effort* to assist. That said, the office's lack of response after several calls and overall non-engagement after the fact may be construed that their initial effort was not in "good faith." read more

Got my wisdom teeth yanked out here a couple days ago. I'm healing up quite nicely actually and am experiencing minimal pain, which is awesome. Facility is clean and organized, and the staff is super friendly. Dr. Korb seems, at first, kind of intimidating, but you can tell that he is knowledgeable and very good at what he does; he's also very attentive, so ask away. My busy schedule didn't allow much flexibility for the wisdom teeth extractions, but they were very accommodating, and were willing to squeeze me in at the last minute, which I very much appreciated! read more

Dr Korb is absolutely wonderful. His right hands Jean and Valerie are great. I was in a horrible situation with a orthodontist that messed up my teeth so bad that they were falling out. Gun shy to see any dentist during that time because of my experience, I did a ton of research and found Dr Korb. He is in the highest regard with other dentists as well as patients. When I saw him, I had already seen many other dentists for opinions on what to do. Dr Korb actually cared about what happened to my teeth. He spent a lot of time on my case and I can't say it enough, he actually cared. I felt like he treated me like I was his sister, not like other dentists who treat patients like, well, patients. When other dentists had given up on my teeth, he actually found ways to treat me. I am so happy with my new smile and my confidence has never in my life been better. My health all the way around is much better. He treats his patients, mind, teeth, and soul. I can't recommend him enough. This man changed my life. Thank you Dr Korb. read more
