Dr. Checkett is extremely competent and honest. He will not recommend a procedure unless it is necessary. Example: I had a tooth that was practically all fillings, but was not bothering me and the x-rays did not indicate a problem. Dr. Checkett watched this tooth for 4 years until it finally cracked and had to be replaced with a crown. A root canal was not necessary. I have highly recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

He did a check for oral cancer and cleaned my teeth very thoroughly without any pain at all. My husband had a root canal, and he felt very relaxed with the nice music.
