This dental office is the definition of dysfunction and complete disregard for patients' time and health. Appointments that are scheduled weeks or months in advance are repeatedly canceled with little to no notice. When you do show up, dentists are suddenly "not available" during your scheduled appointment--again, without warning. What makes this even worse is their absurd, circular policy: they refuse to schedule future cleanings unless you've been evaluated by a dentist, yet it has been over a year without a dentist being available through no fault of the patient. They then insist you book a next-day "follow-up" appointment just to satisfy their internal protocol, even though their own failures caused the issue in the first place. This office clearly prioritizes checking boxes over patient care. There is no accountability, no follow-through, and absolutely no concern for continuity of care or patient health. I have been going here for a number of years but find that there service has been deteriorating and so inconsistent. They canceled my appointment at the last minute and reschedule me to a different day without my approval. They subsequently claim I don't show up and charge me a $35 fee which i am disputing. Unbelievable!! I still have their voicemail apologizing for the mixup. It's been two months and I'm still getting charged! They also set up an appointment for my son to have a tooth removed. We call to confirm a week later and they claim there's no appointment. I call back the next week and the office manager claims we never showed up for the appointment! Avoid at all costs. read more

Went through hoops to get approval for a new crown and when it was finally approved by insurer, these so-called dentists at DentFirst request a "letter" from my previous dentist from over 20 years ago. I wasn't even interested in hearing about what letter they were requesting - c'mon, it was a crown put in from over 20 years ago!!! I was able to contact the oral surgeon as well as the dentist who set my crown and even they called BS on this letter being requested by the DentFirst so-called dentist. I was not a huge fan of the hygenist Kristy. She was pretty rough with my teeth and also would refuse to see anyone for an appointment if they are even a minute past the fifteen-minute grace period, which was not well communicated with patients beforehand. I remember I have had her before and both times the cleaning was pretty rough, and my teeth hurt afterwards. The dentist is nice, but they are always in a hurry to leave. read more

Best place ever! I've unfortunately had to switch Dentist due to the passing of my other Dr. These people respected my time and got me in and out quickly. My hygienist Alex, did a fantastic job and was crazy thorough. My teeth have never felt and looked so clean! The Dr. informed me of information my other dentist should have told me, like that my crown from a cavity when I was a kid, should've been replaced years ago. They even squeezed me in last minute, so I could see the Ortho to get my permanent retainer glued back on, for a very affordable price! And Dr. Corbitt was sooo awesome! I have been going to DenFirst Dentists for a while now, but this location is my favorite. I'm in between a few where I live and I prefer to come to this office. The staff here are very friendly and never try to push any additional upsells or unnecessary treatment. It's nice that I never have to wait very long in the waiting room before being seen. read more

My family has been using this dentist office for years and we had always loved it there. I had a very friendly family feeling to it and we saw the same dentists and hygentists for long periods of time. In the last few years things have changed drastically. The turn over there is very high and we were almost always getting different personnel on each visit. My son had an impacted tooth and was in a lot of pain. They said that the first opening that the oral surgeon they used wasn't for 3 weeks. That was unacceptable. They told my son to call back each week to see if there was a cancellation. That was unacceptable also. We asked for a referral and they refused, they said they didn't give referrals. My wife needed periodontal work and it was the same story. She had some major periodontal work done by the periodontist that they use, Dr. Lee. My wife really liked him. A couple of years later, she needed more work done and wanted to use Dr. Lee again. They said that he was no longer affiliated with them and refused to give my wife a referral that was required by the insurance company. Their customer service sucks and the people we spoke with were very rude. They would rather lose you and your family as patients rather than make sure you get taken care of if it means they lose a few dollars by referring you outside. Things have really changed there and they have gone down hill. My entire family has switched to new providers. read more

Booking an appointment was fast, in and out for my cleaning and procedures, dentist (dr. Triggs) was thorough and I came back to do my fillings with him. First I have to stay I used to like this dentist office for my 4 older kids. They seemed to do fine with routine care and a previous wisdom teeth removal for my daughter. After today, however, we will be looking elsewhere. My son needed his wisdom teeth removed and we had an estimate done in Jan 2015. They could not work him in before he needed to return to college so we had another estimate done recently. Our out of pocket expense was almost double so I called to inquire. The girl at the office told me she would have to speak to the oral surgeon and insurance coordinator (manager type). She called me back later that day saying she had talked to them and told me they were adjusting the cost and my out of pocket would be $x which was at least closer to my original quote 5 months ago. Now comes the bait and switch tactic or just the absolute lie, who knows. I arrive with my son the next day, today, and I am called in to go over the costs. I am then told by the mgr type insurance person that they originally gave me estimates for the removal of children's teeth in Jan 2015. My son is 21 and I had more than one conversation with the office about wisdom teeth removal but somehow no one was competent enough to get codes for wisdom teeth removal correct? She then proceeds to tell me that she did not know the girl yesterday (who is conveniently not there today) was giving me a total price. Meanwhile she is sitting at the desk with a sheet below her top sheet that says exactly the amount I was quoted the day before. By now I am livid as my son has taken a day off work for this procedure and they know I have little options sitting there. I was furious for the bait and switch tactic and the downright lies that were told. I agreed to the procedure but I am still enraged about it. I will be looking for a new dentist office that is competent with insurance codes/estimates and trustworthy. Note that after leaving the appointment, I requested a copy of the "new today" estimate to be emailed to me and lo and behold the exact same insurance code that was supposedly for children's teeth was used for 2 of the 4 teeth so, in the end, it has been proven that I was lied to... descipable. I need to dig through my extra change for another $250 that I now supposedly owe them. read more

This Dentist office is wonderful. It reminds me of the Cosby Show every time I go for a cleaning because the staff is so diverse and my dentist is soooo friendly like Bill Cosby! They have great service and the cleanings are fabulous. Check it out. They have several locations around metro Atlanta. I can only vouch for this one though! They're great!! read more

I mistakenly reviewed Dent 1st under the wrong listing the first time, so I'm glad I found this one as I was about to update my review. I'd originally given them 4 stars - today they get 5 stars. I love these guys. I went in this morning for a root canal and walked out an hour later with a reconstructed tooth courtesy of the wonderful Dr. Sarembock. I'd recently switched to him from Dr. Trigg because I liked his firm handshake. No, really. He could have easily done the root canal and charged me the originally quoted $700+ (after insurance), but instead he realized it wasn't necessary once he got in there and I left paying only $93. Dr. Sarembock is very kind and likable, was gentle and compassionate about my fear of the root canal. And in the end turns out he's also an honest dentist. I like that. A lot. Everyone I've dealt with at this location is very friendly - from my hygienist to the front office staff - and I always leave with a smile on my face. I left this office today, frustrated regarding the dentists lack of concern for my care and lack of appreciation of my time. After another dentist at this "practice " told me that I needed 2 fillings, & a 3rd old filling "resurfaced" because it was more than 5 years old;the teeth were right next to one another so it was suggested by the dentist that I get them all done at the same appointment. I was hesitant to do so because I didn't want to be too uncomfortable. They assured me it would be best to do so. On the day of the appointment I walked in 4 minutes after my appt time, then waited 25 minutes to get called back to the chair, then another 5 minutes or so before the dentist & the assistant game in, and said very matter of fact that they were only doing 1 filling, because l was late. When I told them when I'd arrived, they then admitted they were running late (it was a morning appointment ) and that they would need an hour to do each filling . They proceeded to share that I was scheduled for a root canal ( at a cost of thousands more) even though the previous dentist had only said it was a chance they may need to so. I don't know if it was a bait & switch tactic or lack of communication on their part. But I then began to question their judgement. I went over in detail the written estimate they had given me previously and explained that my husband had taken off work to watch or twins and I had made accommodations for my older children after school . Trying to convince them to complete what I was scheduled for. They then went on to make excuses for things all beyond my control; saying the person that scheduled my appt didn't schedule enough time, they were running late, and they hadn't coded my appt correctly for me to receive nitrous oxide (gas). They said I could come back another day, or they'd only do one , without apologizing for the delay, their timing issues or wasting my time. By the time we debated the issue, and I agreed to that, I was anxious and felt like they had no genuine concern for me as a patient and couldn't help but to reason that at best, I would get rushed service by the apathetic dentist. I left with my charts to take to another practice 1 hour later, having no work completed. When I asked for my charts, the office manager, who had over heard some of the debating, did apologize, but it was too little, too late for me. This is why I gave 2 stars instead of zero. Don't go here if you are used to more courteous and professional service. read more

My dentist retired last year and I needed a new provider. Based on a recommendation by a colleague I went to Dent First. They are very professional and focused on making you happy. Five months after my first visit I developed pain with one of my molars. Dr. Tiggs examined me and took an x-ray. He spent 30 minutes with me to try to determine the cause of the problem. Dr. Tiggs explained very carefully what he was doing and why. Ultimately he referred me to an endodontist. Fee for the diagnosis "Zero". These people are fabulous. read more

Terrible! I normally go to the location in the Perimeter are since that's close to my home however; since my husband already had a doctors appointment over that way I thought I'd just schedule with them. My appointment was initially at 2 PM they called me to see if I could come in early I said let me check my schedule and I'll get back with you. My schedule was open so I said sure and the lady I spoke with said come around 12:45-1 PM I said that's fine. I arrived and signed in at 12:30 went next door and sat with my family while they grabbed a bite to eat and headed back over a few minutes before my appointment. Okay I'm sitting and sitting 15 minutes past in which they have a sign up saying if 15 minutes go past your scheduled appointment time let the receptionist know. I let her know and she's like "Oh really it's been 15 min. the doctor will be just a few more minutes" I said okay 10 more minutes passed and I left. How dare you call me to come in early and I get here and you're still not ready. I will never go back to this location. Poor customer service, no respect for your time and they could care less! read more
