I used Dr Nordone to re-cement a crown that detached while I was visiting from Calif. The office, equipment, and staff are perfect and Dr Nordone is charming and confidence inspiring. The experience was very good. Unfortunately, the crown detached just 5 days after he prepped and cemented it. The fee for that and 2 X-rays was $471. I returned home and my dentist cemented it for $125. His fee for the same X-rays is $120. And West LA fees are among USA's highest. My dentist stated that Nordone did not prep the crown properly. It's still in place 3 months later. I asked Dr Nordone for a cost adjustment but he refused. I feel that this experience was basically exploiting an out of towner's emergency. read more

Dr. Nordone was able to see me at the last minute when my usual dentist became ill recently. He took the time to chat with me about my concerns and offered solid advice. I really loved the office as well - more of a spa like experience than a dentist. I would happily recommend Dentistry with a Difference to friends and family. Do not go here! They refused to provide someone to interpret in sign language for my deaf uncle in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. They also made him pay cash for a previous visit saying that he was not covered by insurance (he was). The only "difference" at this dentist's office is that they're only interested in your money. read more

I do not like going to the dentist. With that said, I went in today to see Dr. Nordone and his staff, and it was the best experience at the dentist I have ever had. I will be coming here for a very long time. You cannot find a better practice. read more

This was my first visit with Dr. Nordone yesterday. The dental exam process he performed with the assistance of one of his dental assistants was phenomenal. The exam that was done was beyond any dental exams I have had performed in the past 40 years. The x-ray study of my teeth was beyond any similar study performed by my primary dentist whom I have lost trust and faith in the care he and his team were doing over the past 20 years. The types of cameras he used to photograph my teeth and mouth areas I have never had anywhere else. Then when the dental assistant pulled out a regular camera and took photographs of smiles and my teeth, I was flabbergasted. I have never had this done by any other dentist in my life. After the exam, the lady dental hygienist who did my cleaning exceeded 99% of cleaning I have had with my previous dentist. The office staff presented themselves that promotes outstanding customer (patient) service to their clients. Even the team members who were not part of my dental services greeted me with smiles and handshakes. I will be keep coming back. Chuck W. read more

I have to say, love the service here, Beth has always been extremely nice and sweet and Dr. Nordone as well. So I'm ok with giving the one star for that but as a previous person posted they are in it for the money. I went in expecting to get a full service on a crown. Just for them to shave my tooth down and tell me I would have to go to an endodontist to get a root canal. How about telling me that before making me pay almost $800 giving me the impression that I would be there for the whole service. I moved to another part of town so I asked if I would be able to just get a refund. They told me no and that I would have to finish treatment with them.(That was a lie) Two years later I finally got the root canal. I call them back letting them know I was finally ready to get the crown. They told me that my insurance wrote them some type of letter pretty much requesting the money back that they paid for a crown that they NEVER DID and that I would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $1400!!!! Why would I have to pay that when you guys shouldn't have put in a claim for a service that you DIDN'T DO!!! I then proceeded to calling my insurance company just for them to tell me they never sent a letter out to them. I then asked my insurance company if I wanted to see another dentist can I. They said yes I can. I let my insurance company know what was going on and we had to file a claim. I was on the phone with them to request my back payment, I was on hold for 45 minutes!! The woman says that they owe me for a service back in 2018 for almost $200 but not in 2017. I explained to her that they did partial work back in 2017, I paid for a FULL crown that NEVER got placed. She then asks how much do I think I should get back for that service. I tell her I would like what I am owed! They over charge you then try to keep your money. Not honest people AT ALL!!! My next step is going to file complaint with better business bureau and with insurance commissioner. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! THEY ARE WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING!!! read more

Not all that impressed with the support staff. I found them to be condescending and at and times not very friendly. They do not practice full disclosure with regards to costs and will push for additional work when they know your insurance has been tapped for the year. They don't explain that up front and surprise you with a bill. It's not right, not very truthful, so be careful. I found them disappointing and have taken my business elsewhere. In the end, it's all about money and could really care less about service and taking care of their patients. read more

I have been going to Dr. Nordone since 1990. He's a wonderful dentist...very personable, thoughtful and concerned about all his patients. I have seen both hygienists, Jennifer and Ellen who are fantastic and the front desk staff are very considerate and helpful. I have referred friends to Priluck/Nordone and will continue to do so. One of the worst experience of my life on a dentist office; and I have been in many. They only want your money, they don't care if you need to use a insurance or your are disabled; and be careful with what you sign there. Believe it or not, i had to look for another doctor in the middle of a procedure because they charged me $800 just for a provisional tooth. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, there are many excellent doctors out there that really care about your health. read more

Dentistry with a difference does a good job when it comes to the actual experience of getting dental work/cleaning done. However, the reason for a one star rating is because they have issues pertaining to the clarity of payments/finances. They did not tell me beforehand that my insurance does not cover their doctors, and then bill me a week afterwards. I clearly understand that the consumer should always be aware, but it would have been nice to have been informed before being billed 800$. Also, after forwarding me to a collection agency, which clearly stated I only needed to pay 800$, they charged me an additional 12$. To get the whole ordeal behind me, I just paid it off. I write this review just tell future patients to be aware, because the whole point of reviews is tell other consumers what to expect. read more
