My hygienist, Shannon, was outstanding. She took the time to explain everything she was doing throughout my appointment and patiently answered every question and concern I had. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the entire experience so much less stressful. The doctor (I believe it was Dr.Baker or Dr.James Abbott) was also incredibly informative and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I truly appreciated how everyone made me feel heard and cared for. I am so grateful that I was referred to Dental TLC. It's rare to find a team that is so welcoming, professional, and compassionate. She also took a look at a molar that seems to have a bone loss issue and could possibly develop an abscess. Dr was able to explain all the alternatives in a manner my 88 year old mother could understand. All the staff did everything they could to keep her calm and relaxed. Having your first molar removed at 88 is pretty traumatic. Dr. Tantuco and staff are pretty darn compassionate. Mom started having an anxiety attack so Dr Tantuco thought it would be best to suspend extraction, send mom home with antibiotics, let her get used to the idea of an extraction and reschedule at a later date.
