Management is horrible. Came in and asked for a friend of ours that worked in the golf shop. Four men looked at us like we came from Mars. The worst was from the man below Travis East. He is a director of golf. He asked us how we knew the person we were asking for and we said he's a friend of our family and our daughter and we played golf with him before he said, do you have his personal cell phone number? I said yes. He then said" I suggest you call him". We then asked for the GM and there isn't one. read more

DCC used to be a great club. You could always get a tee time close to when you wished to play. A 3:30 hr round was common on the weekend. The men's card room was always fun. Now we have a special event every weekend spring to fall. I have to always work around the MGA and LGA in order to Play a round with my friends (members also). I have sent emails to the leadership at the club over a two year period without anyone having the courtesy to respond. I can say the club and it leaders do not care about its members based on continued disregard. I would not recommend joining this club at this time. read more

Had the privilege of getting to play DCC y-day, wow - what a golf course. The views on this property are absolutely stunning. You'd swear you were playing some scenic track down in the Central Texas Hill Country.. Denton Country Club has elevation, doglegs, manicured holes - you name it. This is one of the best hidden gems in the Metroplex. read more

I had my wedding here in October 2014 and was lucky enough to need the venue right as they were finishing major renovations. It was so gorgeous. The banquet hall was stunning with all the outdoor lights, elegant coffered ceiling with chandeliers, fresh carpet, and new tables. There was plenty of room for all 150 guests and a large band and dance floor. We used the side room for high cocktail tables and a bar and had full access to the lovely balcony with a sensational sunset view. The food was incredible. Guests were very impressed that wedding food was so tasty, and the talented chef gave us many options so we were able to customize the dinner and appetizer menu just to our budget and vision. They worked with us on the cost of wine, and the liquor was reasonably priced. Dean Nickerson went out of his way to answer questions, organize tastings, allowed us to set up early for the event, and manged the evening flawlessly. DCC was so accommodating for anything we needed and made the planning as stress free as possible. As the bride, I felt completely taken care of, which was nice because there was no wedding planner. We had such a pleasant experience planning the wedding, that we decided to have the bridal party luncheon there the day before. Another wonderful experience with exquisite food and great service. Great place to be a member and also to host an event. Highly recommend it for any future bride! read more

Had breakfast there last Sunday. Good breakfast menu. Attentive staff. Had my favorite on those Sundays where they don't have a buffet (generally the 3rd Sunday)..... Eggs Benedict. Very well prepared and presented. Side order of grits. Coffee. Most enjoyable. Not crowded so quiet and peaceful. View of the golf course and surrounding country and Denton skyline. The remodeling of the dining and bar areas complete and very well done. read more
