Great golf course with great staff! If you get the opportunity to play the course I highly recommend it!

This place is amazing! Popped in bc I was in the area and…read moremy daughter needed to use the restroom. Seemed like a good excuse to check out that they have. This place smells like leather and has so many cute things to check out! This is the place to go for riding boots too. The service here is top notch and you can tell it's a small privately owned business and their efforts and kindness shine through. 100% top notch service, good selection, and locally owned. What could be better?

I LOVE Quail Hollow Tack, and they are the only tack store that i know of in Flower Mound (plus…read morethey are right next to my house). They are an upscale, boutique type tack store that caters to the affluent English equestrians in the area. They have a wide selection of products, but are limited in quanitity and selection of sizes/colors because they don't have a lot of space in the store. If they don't have something that you are looking for, they can usually ordern it into the store. They have ample catalogs for you to search for the exact size/style/color to order (just ask). Quail Hollow carried premium clothing for hunter, jumper, dressage, and eventing riders. They have new and used saddles (again, only hunter/jumper, dressage). They only sell ultra premium brands of new saddles, like Butet. A good selection of high quality boots, helmets, gloves, bridles, martingales, reins, bits, spurs, blankets, equine leg protection, saddle pads. They have a horse supplies such as tack cleaning, brushes/grooming, fly spray, shampoo/conditioner/detangler, hoof conditioner. Limited supply of horse supplements, dewormers, and treats/cookies. They do NOT carry horse feed or hay (or any other animal feed). Staff are helpful and know exactly what I like and show me new products that they think might appeal to me. They know me by name when I call just based on little tidbits of info such as "I rode 20 miles yesterday in my new pants and LOVED them!". Come in all dirty, smelly, and in crummy clothes after you have been cleaning stalls or drive up in a BMW, wearing your finest breeches, coordinating polo shirt, and wearing fancy riding boots, and either way you will be doted on like you own the place. One thing I appreciate is their computer system that keeps tract of purchases by customer. This has been helpful for returns if I don't have my receipt. They even accepted back a halter that I had taken the tags off (and didn't even have the tags, mind you), because they could tell it was from the store and they could look up when I bought the halter and what I paid for it. It was several months after I purchased the halter and the were nice and still let me use it for store credit. Prices are a bit high in this store, but you pretty much are to expect this from a upscale equine boutique tack shop like this. It's mostly because they carry high quality stuff. Not due to mark-up. Their annual spring sale is NOT to be missed thought. You can get some CRAZY good deals. I think the sale occurs in March or April. I bought a bunch of show shirts for $5 - $10 each. Ariat and Pikeur Breeches for $20-$30. GPA Helmet for $50. Everything is last year (or earlier) styles, but as most equestrian know style doesn't change that fast in the horse world, and unless you are buying clothing for showing...who cares!? A good deal on a good quality product is all that matters to me. BUT, please note that the spring sale is an ALL SALES FINAL sale....so this is the exception to my note above about their awesome return policy.

I had the pleasure of attending my arbonne team dinner here! First we were welcomed with smiles!…read moreShe staff was so nice! Then dinner time. I have allergies so I asked the chef (he was standing right outside so super easy) about my options. Little did I know everything was marked with easy-to-read allergen labels! Vegan, vegetarian, gf only disappointment was bbq sauce wasn't gf . Music, games, rosco the bull. I have an off grid ranch in eastern Colorado so most things "country" don't impress me because well I live it. But this was well done. Only wish band wouldn't played more classic country than pop. But the food was awesome. If you can go for drink specials. I have to do a gf grain option which is top shelf and $15 for a single. Ouch.

The pastoral and serene countryside of Flower Mound's Cross Timbers District is where Circle R…read moreRanch calls home. This sprawling estate is able to accommodate lots of guests (vehicles included) for all different types of functions. Everything about the property is ostentatiously southern, which might seem kitschy to non Texans, but for locals it just feels comfortable and familiar. Since I was there for a banquet, the first thing I have to talk about is the food. It seemed only appropriate that barbecue was on the menu with things like brisket, smoked sausage and baked beans, all served buffet style. While it was respectable enough, the quality was closer to Dickey's or Spring Creek than more authentic Texas barbecue. I thought the bread pudding they had for dessert was a good choice since I don't see that very often, plus it was very tasty. This place also has several built in bars because at social events people need their adult libations! There were only a handful of options available, but frozen margaritas was one of them, so that totally made up for the small selection. In addition to special events and private parties they also host market days open to the public. For that they have local vendors selling their goods along with other family friendly activities, such as pony rides, a petting zoo and rodeo. Although I haven't been before, I'm inspired to go now after seeing how well they handled the event that we did attend.
