One thing I've learned about the dental industry is that a lot of dentists will pay their hygienists a commission based salary. I find that to be pretty outrageous, honestly. It surely benefits the practitioners and not the patients in that regard. One of the reasons I chose to go to Tim Lawrence is because I was referred to him by a friend. My friend went to one of the more well-known dental groups in town that said he needed a root canal ($$$). He goes to Tim Lawrence for a second opinion, and Tim tells my buddy that he absolutely does not need a root canal. He can just fill it like a normal cavity, saving my friend massive amounts of green. I had a similar experience. I went to the same large dental group in town that pressured me to update my "outdated" crown. I go to Tim. He said my crown was fine. So, yeah. I'm over the snakes in the dental industry. My husband spoke and the women at the desk barely responded. They also failed to acknowledge my child, and did not ask why they were there or what type of appointment they were coming in for. My husband filled my son's name on a sign in sheet. One of the ladies highlighted his name in green, but did not explain a weight time, ask if paper was previously filled, or any of the normal walkthrough for a first appointment. What amplified this was that a man came in behind them and the women in the front not only spoke, but was kind and friendly. Assign insult to injury, a little girl was leaving her appointment and they went out their way to speak and hold a conversation with her and her parent. I understand the state of the country has some people operating out of bias, but it's unfortunate to see that in a professional space that is in a community. Even more that my child felt overlooked and unwelcome when he's treated kindly at his previous dental office. If you can't be kind and polite to everyone, you shouldn't be servicing them.

When I walked into the Aspen Dental Clinic with their day-lit offices and open spaces I felt relaxed and actually relieved and ashamed I waited so long. I did not wait long to be seen (maybe 10-minutes.) X-rays were immediately taken and before I knew it I was relaxing listening to Dr. Graham going into great detail about about these x-rays and what I was in for. To make a long story short these were the nicest people I've ever met in an office setting. Believe-you-me I know these people were sincere about helping me. This morning, less than a week since my surgery, my new dentures were being adjusted by Dr. Graham and his friendly staff for a snug proper fit. I'm now getting rave reviews by friends and family...even my family doctor...about how 'natural' my dentures looked. Yes, the word was 'natural'. They said I even look younger than my 71 years. I'm on cloud nine! Don't hesitate like I did these many years...modern dentistry is here. Thanks to all the office staff, especially Alexa at the front desk for making my visits positive ones. i went there on January 15 for crowns. They put 2 crowns on me that were done by an assistant that…read moreno matter how many times I told her they were too big she said it was normal. I couldn't even close my mouth Fully because of these cinderblocks. I Paid the office $1400 which was half of my bill. I was told it'll take 2 weeks for crowns. I called in that time frame and they told me that it is 4-6 weeks. Understood, everybody makes mistakes. That time passed and nobody called to tell me anything about my crowns. They kept contacting me about a stupid extraction that I didn't schedule. so I called and they tell me that they didn't order my crowns until January 30th. 15 days after my visit. I let it go because they said they will put a rush on my crowns. Shortly after that the temporary crowns they had put in my mouth fell off. obviously they were temporary. Then 12 weeks total pass and they still hadn't called. So I call and they said that they will put a rush on it and blah blah blah. I canceled the procedure and requested a refund which took longer than what they had said it would take. I don't know who manages this place but it is horrible. Everything about this was just horrible. 0 care for patients, 0 professionalism.
