I treated myself to a massage at the Four Seasons as a slightly belated birthday gift to myself, and it was sooooooo worth it. The massage itself was great, though next time I will choose the massage oil instead of the lotion since the lotion felt cold. The table was plush and just the right temperature. The facilities were modest, but luckily it wasn't crowded so I was able to use almost all the amenities: hot tub, sauna, quiet lounge. I came here on a Friday during the summer, so unfortunately the pool wasn't available to spa guests. Next time I'll be sure to come sometime between Monday and Thursday. Came for a massage at The Spa and stayed all day for the services offered at this wonderful city escape. Was able to book a massage the day after a large family wedding and that gave us access to the pool because it was a weekday. The locker room is gorgeous and very well appointed with a lovely Jacuzzi inside and the eucalyptus steam bath. There is a very nice relaxation room with light snacks, and an entire large vanity station with everything that you could need to get ready after the Spa. This hotel should not be called a four seasons resort. We booked a Tuesday spa day for five people, which was supposed to grant us access to the pool. Well that was until we had a $43 pool charge added to our food and beverage bill. The service was absolutely dismal at the poolside. The bartender could not have been more unhelpful, nor could the staff at the spa. We had asked twice for a plastic bag to put a bathing suit. The mirrors in the area for blow drying hair and putting on make up or in such dark lighting is impossible to see anything. The spot itself is tiny and laid out very poorly. When we asked about whether we needed a credit card for drinks and food at the pool, ye we were told yes so we brought one out. However, no one bothered to tell us that we also needed to show ID even though we're a lot closer to triple twenty one than twenty one. A wind gust came and blew over a specialty cocktail that was half full as the cheap plastic glasses used at the pool have literally no weight or depth to them. But the bartender not only didn't offer to do anything to help, he literally walked away from the bar.There were four staff members standing around doing nothing, so we asked politely if they could bring a rag or something to clean it up. No one offered to replace the drink. The same bartender took the order of one of our party (who is gluten-free). She asked about salad dressing options. He did offer to go get a vinaigrette dressing from the restaurant downstairs, but said that would take some extra time. We said great, we don't mind waiting. The dressing never materialized and the bartender took the position that we never asked for different dressing. It was interesting he never even noticed that she didn't touch a bite of her salad for the 25 minutes while we were waiting for the dressing. So Just to clarify, we were sitting at the bar and there were only two other people in the entire pool bar/ restaurant area than the four of us The massages were great and the red haired valet was great, but the rest of the hotel staff could not have been more lacking in service. No one even asked about the spa service. When we went to the pool, the pool attendant did help assist with getting us chairs. We politely asked for an umbrella, to which he responded no problem. Umbrella never materialized. Even though the pool area was not very crowded, when people left, staff didn't pick up towels or dirty glasses. read more

A very average spa experience. The massage was well done, but the spa facilities were a bit lacking. Razors are provided but no shave gel. The door to the shower I was using would not stay shut. The hot tub had barely any water in it (when I sat in it, the water only came up to my chest) and it was not hot enough at all. When I mentioned the hot tub as I was checking out, I was told "that's how it always is" which means I will definitely not be back, because there are spas with much better facilities and hot tubs that are actually full and properly heated. On the plus side, the quiet room / rest area was very nice, and so was the access to the pool area, where there was a better hot tub, and a chance to have a snack and a drink. read more

I wanted so badly for this to be five stars because the staff was very welcoming and nice. Massage was great! But the facilities are very lacking... first if you're coming here for a couples massage, just a heads up, there is no area for you to enjoy amenities together. That was a bummer. Then, between water damage spots, flaking paint, toilets that don't flush and hot water that did not work in the showers, it was kind of a disaster. Again, the massages were fine(I've had better) and the staff was very very nice. But for what you pay for the services, it was a little disappointing. Whenever traveling, my bestie and I always try to book a spa day. We had a great time unwinding and using the facilities here despite not being hotel guests. We both signed up for the 50 minute deep tissue massage and added the body exfoliation for an extra $25. With the appointment booked for later in the afternoon, we also received access to their gym, pool and spa amenities like steam room and hot tub. We decided to start with the gym. They had great updated equipment for weightlifting and cardio. I enjoyed playing a dragon chasing game while on the stationary bike. They also had headphones available if needed, towels and refreshing fruit infused water. As our massage appointments approached, we changed into our bikinis and hit the steam room. They had an aromatic, eucalyptus infused steam permeating. It was the best! From there, we migrated to the hot tub where we ordered a couple mimosas. They offer different mimosas. She ordered pineapple and I enjoyed my grapefruit. It was time for our massages. I appreciate the question of music preference here! That's different. Fifty minutes was more than enough for us. My massage therapist really hit the pressure points nicely and made me feel amazing at finish. The extra $25 for body exfoliation wasn't really worth it. I thought they would use some sort of scrub, but it was just gloves which they give you a pair at the end. We headed to the showers once or was over and took our time primping before heading to our friend's place to stay. They have all the basic styling tools one may need to fix your hair and a small vanity area to apply makeup. The girl keeping towels stocked and servicing guests was super friendly and accommodating. We ordered a bottle of sauvignon blanc to sip while getting dressed. The overall experience was one we would definitely repeat . Everyone was very nice and solicitous. We were totally relaxed and ready for the evening. They sell some products in the spa here also. I took home a bottle of that eucalyptus spray. So now I get that aromatic steam effect in the shower too! read more

Years and years and years of coming here. The valet guys ARE TERRIBLE. RUDE. NOT WELCOMING. PURPOSELY. I don't get it. I stay here a lot. Had dinners in the private dining rooms and had events here. I was going to be buying a condo here. The VALET guys and especially the guy the guy that is the manger of it is the worst human. He and his team are always rude. I mentioned to 3 others last time I was here that my only gripe is valet and they all said the same thing that when they come here they are always rude. A friend arrives in a Ferrari when he visits and still rude. So no matter who you are you'll get terrible customer service. First let me say the I LOVE the Four Seasons. Every chance I get (and my wallet can handle) I'll book myself there. On my latest trip to Denver we opted to stay around the corner at Le Meridian. We came into town for a Bachelorette weekend and were in search for a spa. We wanted a 'spa day' and did search high and low. We found almost all spas were a book the massage and no real hangout area. We opted to come to the Four Seasons for our spa day and it did NOT disappoint! The ladies only section had a nice changing area with lockers- they provide robes, shoes and a plastic bag for your wet bathing suit. Showers that had amazing product, a large jacuzzi, eucalyptus steam room, relaxation room, and a get ready area that had a blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron, hairbrush, deodorant, you name it! We even went outside in the snow to take advantage of the outdoor jacuzzi and heated pool Outside they had a little brown cabinet with HEATED TOWLES! You could even hang your robe inside. So cool. During this time we all got massages. I opted for the deep tissue and boy am I feeling it the next day. It was great! So while you might pay a bit of a premium for the services you are definitely getting your money's worth if you take advantage of all the amenities. Oh I forgot- they have fruit infused water everywhere, AND sliced cucumbers and cold towels for your face as well. I'll be back! read more

Not impressed at all. the spa is small and basic, only offering a med size hot tub pool, a sauna, streamroom and the cold plunge is a room temp mini tub (only fits one person). The ok outdoor pool is for guests only (not ideal if you're just taking a day away). when we complained we were uncomfortably given access to the pool - there were very few guests outside. Massage was ok. But at the end you get a caramel - what a joke. If you want a massage, sure come here. If you want a real spa experience avoid, avoid,avoid. I recommend the Omni in Asheville. It is beyond amazing. The Four Seasons in Vail will never get my business again and I will continue my search for a great spa in Colorado. read more

Checked in this morning for an all day pampering! I'm still trying to manage this review since my arms feel like Jell-O! The facilities are nice. Well kept - thanks to Tabitha. Talk about a work horse! She was running to keep everything maintained and stocked at all times! What an amazing asset to the spa! I came in for a body scrub and massage as well as a facial! My all day experience could not have been better! Lisa started me off the the body scrub and deep tissue massage. She was very thorough and made sure to take care of any sensitive areas I had. My deep tissue massage was equally amazing and Lisa seemed to know just exactly how much pressure to apply. Lisa is extremely in tune with her client's and that was so refreshing! Alexa was my facialist and I could not have been happier with the results. I'm 48 and have very dry skin. I swear I looked like I had Botox injections when she was done! Smooth and 100% hydrated! What a wonderful way to spend my Sunday! Thanks to everyone who made me feel like a princess today! Ahhhhh! Perfection! My only quite small note would be they expand the facilities to include a sauna and perhaps more chairs for the quiet room as well as more lockers. First and foremost - you don't want to do any add-on treatments to massages here... they shorten your massage time and charge you additional. They've done this to us 3 times! On top of that- their employees are very rude and impersonal. It makes it very difficult to be comfortable in a hostile environment. Regardless, I looked past all of these issues as I appreciated their environment until last weekend. First, we booked a last minute appointment the night before for a couples massage. The next morning- we called before our appointment to let them know we were running late. #1- we're told we cannot move it without them charging us $160. Mind you - we would have only been late. Not canceling. But to find out that loyal, returning customers have to pay to be late or move an appointment- you can lose your loyal customers for goodness sakes. On top of that- NO ONE will tell you about their cancellation policy over the phone, but they'll still gladly take your money. read more

My husband and I did a couple's retreat here at the Four Season's spa. I sent in a request online and they got back to me within an hour or so and booked us. There are not shared spaces in the spa (there is a gentlemen's side and a ladies side). Each side has a steam room, hot tub, relaxation quiet room and then all the showers/lockers/getting ready area. The couples' room has its own two person jetted tub and the two massage tables. You start the retreat by having a soak with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and then finish with a massage of your choice. I thought the masseuses were very attentive and friendly. My hubby is a picky one with a massage and he said he got the deep pressure he wanted. My masseuse focused on the areas I wanted and worked out the kinks. It was a nice escape and the spa was beautiful, clean and the staff was professional. I would highly recommend. read more

Nice spa! I was invited to the spa by a company in the industry I work. Everyone was very friendly and polite. They had set up a small room as a meet and greet location. They had a cheese board, fruit, pastries, cookies and other snacks. They were pretty tasty. The spa itself is really nice. Super clean and tranquil. The locker room was really small, so with a big group coming in all at one time, it was kind of tight. The products they used in the facial were nice and smelled really good. I was there for a deep tissue massage with Moses (I think that's his name?). The massage itself was amazing, probably one of the best deep issue I've had in Denver so far. Overall facility however was disappointing. I went in a Saturday afternoon, so it was pretty crowded, and there were a lot of loud old women in the locker room area. Locker room area unfortunately is smaller than the locker room at CycleBar. FS obviously did not staff properly either, there were a lot if used towels and robes laying around, not what you'd expect to see at a high end spa. Relaxation room is pretty small too. Only 3 chairs in there, doesn't seem very relaxing! Steam room is nice but again kinda small, there were 3 women in there and it already felt pretty crowded. Shower is having issues the day I visited, I brought it to front desk and they said it's an issue that's happening in the whole hotel that day, well I guess a warning when I checked in at reception would be nice. However front desk was very apologetic and asked me to come back and use the facility. It's disappointing that Denver just doesn't have any high end spa in the city, I'd expect an experience at least on par with day spas in Boston when I'm dropping 300 dollars here. I enjoyed a great massage and went in like 1 hour before my appointment so that I could really relaxed without rushing . I enjoyed steam room and relax room these two are a must for me in any Spa . All the staffs were super friendly and attentive made me feel welcomed. I especially appreciated the girl who took care of stocking towels , robes and slippers. The facilities are clean and modern with gender private steam room, whirlpool, relaxation room, and shared heated pool and outdoor hotub. My husband and I have been all over the world...in high end hotels...throughout Asia and Europe...and we both felt this was the best quality massage we have ever had in our lives!
