I recently accompanied my 25-year-old daughter for her wisdom teeth extraction at Denver Metro OMS. I'm 53 years old and in my life have not been treated so unprofessionally. Kristen wasn't just rude, she was a bully and is likely a bully in her everyday life. She is more suited to work in a correctional facility than a dental office or anywhere that requires customer service or a good bedside manner. This was a very poor experience. read more

So glad that I was referred to Denver Metro OMS by my new dentist! I had an urgent dental issue, and Dr. DiPasquale was able to see me the same day AND definitively take care of the issue. The care was comprehensive, detailed, professional, and all around amazing. Staff: Professional and kind. I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed in the office with local anesthetic and nitrous oxide, and it was done it a very expedient, clean, and painless manner. Went in after being referred by my Endodontist test to treat an abscess tooth with the intention of getting it pulled. My endodontist made the appointment for me and told them the tooth needed to be pulled immediately. Once there, I was told that my tooth would not be pulled, and I needed to make another appointment. Instead, I was given a "hard sell" on a tooth implant. I was then given an estimate of costs for the entire procedure. Cost wasn't really an issue, but I was in pain with an abscess tooth and needed something done right away. Thought whole thing was very unprofessional and will not be returning. I wasn't there to buy a used car, but that's what the whole episode felt like. Got my dental work done elsewhere with no problems and no delays. I'm so happy that my dentist referred me to them for a wisdom tooth removal! I was very nervous because a few years ago I was told that one of my wisdom teeth was very close to the nerve and could do possible nerve damage to my face. I ended up only getting three out and leaving that one tooth in. Fast forward to now, Dr. DiPasquale confirmed that the tooth was still close to the nerve but explained my options and made me feel less scared about getting it removed. *** PLEASE BE WEARY OF THEIR BILLING PRACTICES. THE REVIEWS ABOUT GETTING CHARGED MORE THAT IS ESTIMATED ARE UNFORTUNATELY ACCURATE. Worked with Dr. DiPasquales on an extraction in June. The procedure was tricky, but overall it went fine. The staff was fine and relatively polite. During my consultation, I spoke with a staff member about cost. I read thoroughly through the reviews before visiting and I noticed several complaints about receiving bills that were much higher than expected. Because of this, I specifically asked for the work to be sent to my insurance for a pre-approval. I was told that this was unnecessary because I "had great insurance and all the codes are really straightforward." I asked for it to be done anyway and the staff member was very adamant that I would be billed exactly what the estimate said. I made my payment on the day of the procedure and of course, I was hit with an additional bill after everything was done. I tried to take specific steps to avoid this (as it is a noted issue in the reviews), my concerns were dismissed in the office and the very thing that I wanted to avoid happened anyway. Because of this, I would never recommend Dr. DiPasquales or Denver Metro OMS. On the contrary, I would advise potential clients to be weary. This diminished my experience in such a way that I am leaving a review and I never leave reviews but I want people to be informed. I just underwent a tooth extraction with Dr Patterson. I was first referred by my dentist to Altitude OMS, but after they gave me an incredibly unreasonable price, I decided to look elsewhere. I am so glad that I did, because Denver Metro OMS is an amazing facility with a wonderful staff and affordable pricing. They charge a third of the price of Altitude OMS for the same procedure. Like most people, I absolutely despise the dentist, especially when it involves surgery. The staff here was super friendly and accommodating, beginning with the woman at the front desk, who helped me out tremendously. The dental assistant Shamay, not sure if I spelled it correctly, but her friends call her Shamazing, was in fact amazing. I have pretty bad anxiety and she went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as possible through out the whole procedure. Dr. Patterson was also very friendly and even called me himself a few hours after the procedure to check up on me. Went here for a wisdom tooth removal and couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Patterson and team did an awesome job discussing all options for extraction, treatment, post-op, etc...before proceeding with removal. I experienced little to no pain when receiving locals and after 10 minutes of not being able to locate the left side of my face and 2 minutes of actual "surgery"...I was on my way home. After waiting two weeks, I was told a week before the appt that they had to reschedule it as a consult - which added another week to my waiting time. I have never been so well cared for at a dentist. Last Friday, June 17th, I had to get my wisdom teeth extracted (at 33 years old), and I was very scared of the whole procedure. They did everything possible to set my mind at ease and ensure I knew what was going on and what to expect. Dr. Dipasquale was incredible and very reassuring. The procedure went very well, but I developed a dry socket five days after the procedure. They got me in the same day I called to express my concerns about the pain, and they addressed the issue immediately. I experienced significant pain following the medication of the dry socket, and had to go back into the office within ten minutes to be checked again. I had not eaten yet, and could not take any meds on an empty stomach. The nurse gave me her personal yogurt and some ibuprofen to take with it. I have never been to an office where someone was so ready and willing to assist, that they would provide a part of their own lunch to a patient. I highly recommend Denver Metro OMS. They make a trip to the dentist worry-free, and they show they care about their patients. read more

I recently moved to the area and found a great dentist. My new dentist could not remove my broken, infected molar and referred me to Dr. Juliana DiPasquale. I have now had two extractions done with Denver OMS. This office is wonderful. The front desk staff is amazing, warm, and accommodating. I love the welcoming feeling of their lobby. I just came back from my last visit to the office. Had to have all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth removed and as a 28 year old petrified of doctors I have to say, the office and Dr. Juliana DiPasquale did an amazing job. I was prescribed a mild sedative to take the night before the appointment (to help me sleep) and also one hour before my surgery. Then once in the chair I was hooked up to some laughing gas. This was my first time getting an IV and the doctor knew I was nervous. She let my listen to my ipod with my headphones and the nurse sprayed cold numbing mist on my arm just as the IV went in. It really wasn't so bad. After that I just remember waking up. I did develop a dry socket on one side of my mouth a few days after the surgery which was very painful even while taking percocet. I called the office describing my pain and was able to come in later that day. Dr. Juliana DiPasquale put medicated gauze into the wound and it worked wonders. I was able to stop taking all pain relievers. I ended up coming back every 4 or 5 days for 2 weeks to get my gauze changed and the office and the Doctor were always very nice and super accommodating. I would definitely recommend this office and Dr. Juliana DiPasquale to anyone who needed their wisdom teeth removed. read more

Dr. Patterson, of Denver Metro OMS, was recommended by my dentist, Dr. Jon Whiteley. I required the removal of some broken teeth and implants placed so that I could have a bridge replaced. Dr. Patterson discussed my options and course of treatment in detail. He and his team provided me with the best care. When I felt some pain during the surgery, he immediately provided the needed anesthetic. Post surgery I was provided with the necessary instructions and prescriptions to make recovery easy. I was scheduled to have surgery with Dr. DiPasquale today. My consult was great, I had a tooth a bit too close for comfort to a nerve and required a CT scan or I might need a second procedure down the road. Of course insurance doesn't cover it (ugh- that was an unexpected and expensive surprise) but I took her recommendation anyway. And I am very glad that I did. The tooth was angled in a way that was away from the nerve and we were able to get it in one surgery instead of two! Since then, I had my surgery scheduled for today but she had an emergency that she needed to tend to. I was dreading potentially being cancelled for this as I was already nervous enough, but Dr. Cosby came in to help see her patients. This was so thoughtful of them to put their patients first by Dr. Cosby coming in on a day off and to call and inform me of this or they could reschedule with Dr. DiPasquale for a later date. It shows how much they really care for their patients. Very impressive. I opted to keep my appointment and go with Dr. Crosby. Meeting him was a joy! Incredibly personable and kind. The procedure was easy and I had no anxiety even though I was awake throughout the minor operation. Easy-peasy!! Not ONLY this, but once I was home and Dr. DiPasquale called me at home to make sure that I was doing well and to apologize for not being available for me today. Thank you, Denver Metro OMS. I feel compelled to write a review of Denver Metro OMS and specifically Dr. Juliana DiPasquale after the wonderful treatment my 13 year old son received this month. My son had to get two adult teeth removed and he was very nervous about the procedure. We have a DMO dental plan and found our oral surgeon options to be very limited. Our dental office offers an oral surgeon on a rotating basis so he visits a variety of offices just one time a month. I did have an appointment set up with them but they were unable to answer my questions and did not offer a consultation to address the many questions we had. I felt very uneasy with them and cancelled the appointment when I discovered Denver Metro OMS and am so thankful. We were able to visit the office a week before the procedure and meet with Dr. DiPasquale and her staff. She explained the procedure and put my son at ease. He was especially anxious about the anesthesia and did not want to feel a thing. Fast forward to the procedure which went very smooth and he was so surprised that he did not feel anything. He was nervous about the IV but handled it like a champ and was very relaxed thanks to the demeanor of the doctor and her staff. We had a follow-up appointment this week and everything checked out just great. It was a great experience and I do not think he will be so nervous when it comes to having his wisdom teeth removed in a few years. Highly recommend this office. In a matter of seconds my life changed. I was thrown over my handle bars, landed on my face and lost 2 of my front teeth. While laying in the ER I realized I had no idea what to do, who to call, how to get teeth again! THANK GOODNESS the name Dr. Kevin Paterson was put across my path. Not only did he immediately calm my concerns about what was to happen next but made me confident that in fact, I would look good as new. He walked me through every step, making sure I was a part of the process. The bonus is that he treats you like a friend, like a person.... not a patient. I happen to have my accident while riding my bike to the Denver Broncos game (which I never made it to) and even went WAY beyond the call of duty and actually helped me get a replacement pair of tickets. How could I ask for anything more! I had to get a bone graft and am 5.5 months into my healing process. I should have my implants in the next few months.... GOOD AS NEW!!! This was an unusual circumstance of an urgent referral from a dentist I had seen for the first time, so I had to trust on multiple levels. Dr DiPasquale took the time to point out not only how we might treat the primary need but where I needed to be aware of possible items for the future. I have had a dental implant from another oral surgeon. The tooth extraction I had done today was a little challenging, but both Dr DiPasquale and her assistant put me at ease and were able to do the procedure with a level of comfort that was unexpected but very welcome. While the extraction was all I had done at this time, if I were to need another dental implant in the future, I would not hesitate to contact Dr. DiPasquale for her professional opinion and treatment. She earned my trust. The staff at the front were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the accurate billing information so that I could make prompt payment with a confidence that they work well with various insurance carriers.
