Dr. Selner is highly skilled, educated, and has an experience level most dentists will never achieve. That's wonderful, but what is important to me is if I have a dental issue, will my dentist go to extraordinary lengths to figure out the problem. Dr. Selner will and has on a number of occasions. I just love this place! Dr. Taylor is the nicest, sweetest and most knowledgeable dentist I've ever dealt with. My hygienist, Mike, is also the bomb. He's gentle on the teeth and gums, thorough and most personable. Told him if he leaves, I'm coming after him...*grin* And the front desk...just great. They are good at their job and always make me feel welcome when I come in. The office always looks clean and they have great books to look at. Wait time is usually about 5-10 minutes. What else can I say? It's a definite thumbs up. read more

*****If it was possible I would give Dr. Taylor 10 Stars***** I am extremely picky about my dentist. I never thought I would be able to find a Dentist in Colorado that would be able to replace my Mom's Dental Office in Connecticut. Thankfully I was wrong. Dr. Taylor makes a point to take the utmost care with my teeth. She embraces the theory that your dental health is directly linked to your overall heath. For example she noticed right away after looking at my teeth that I had an acid reflux problem. She could even tell what side I sleep on at night just by looking at my teeth. Dr. Taylor suggested I see a Gastroenterologist and start taking an antacid. This is something my mother had been encouraging me to get checked out for years. I knew right then and there that I was in excellent hands. In fact after my first appointment I called my mom to share the good news "Don't worry Mom I found someone to take care of my teeth the way you do!" My teeth are extremely sensitive and this is part of the reason I was nervous to go to a Dentist who is not my mom. I wasn't sure that I would be taken care of the way my mom did. Well thankfully again I was wrong. My sensitivity is noted in my chart at Dr. Taylor's office and no matter who cleans my teeth, they always make sure to put numbing topical gel over the sensitive areas and take extra care when poking around in my mouth. Dr. Taylor's office is like a Spa for your teeth. From the moment you walk in you are transported to a tranquil and comforting environment. The equipment is state of the art, the chairs are comfortable and there are even TV's in the room. The best part of the office however is the view that overlooks the mountains. It really puts you in a calming state of mind. It always a treat not a chore to visit the office. I am so grateful I found a Dentist who will holistically take care of me and my teeth. My husband and I had been referred to this office by a fantastic Endodontist. Unfortunately when I called and asked for pricing info, I determined the out of pocket cost was too much for a simple 6 month check. I do understand that offices will charge what they'd like. Let's face it, going to a dentist is like going to a car dealership; painful just thinking about it. Not here...Dr. Selner has an amazing staff that is reminiscent of a concierge at a five star resort. They are keen to remember your name like cheers without the drafts. Every doctor in the office is an absolute professional at their trade and make the clients feel special. I have experienced many nightmare experiences in a dentist chair and Dr. Selner and his staff have become my therapist for Dental aversionism. Very close friend used this company and it appears they are all about the money and not the patient. 3 times, a night guard was made improperly by Dr. Selner and would not fix this. Dr. Andrea Taylor is not just a wonderful dentist as echoed by other reviews - she is an absolutely wonderful person inside and out. Even on her worst days I have seen nothing but smiles from Dr. Taylor. Her ability to connect with patients and put them at ease is truly a testament to her professionalism and her passion for her work and her patients. Finding Dr. Taylor and this practice changed my ENTIRE life. I was a young adult, still seeing a pediatric dentist and had a legitimate fear of coming to the dentist, all out anxiety attacks ensuing. Needless to say I needed a LOT of work done, but beyond the actual dentistry what I got from Dr. Taylor was support, advice, guidance on taking better care of my oral health and my overall health and wellbeing. Maybe I am being terribly unfair, but right now I am feeling wronged. I was a patient of wonderful Dr. Wallace for what seems like forever. He could do no wrong, and I trusted him implicitly. So when one of several crowns that he placed, chipped almost immediately, I opted not to do anything. It was a small chip in a back molar, and he assured me that whenever I changed my mind, he would replace it. Subsequently, I had some minor issues with the same crown, requiring recementing it in place (2013), but I still felt it unnecessary to replace it. Then last week, a large portion of the enamel fell off the crown, so I opted to take the practice up on what I thought was still a viable offer. Drs Selner and Taylor disagreed and felt that the crown had performed adequately and since it was now over 5 years, they would not replace it at no charge. Needless to say, having spent thousands of dollars, and clearly being told it could be replaced at any time, I feel, this decision is not honorable. read more

She embraced me as a whole person. Took time to learn about my overall health presentation so that she could understand my unique needs and potential issues throughout any prescribed treatment. She has taken an incredible amount of time to go to bat for me both through direct conversations with me as well as other providers potentially involved in my treatment. All they care about is making money. They keep trying to nickel and dime me every time I go in. They can't get something right during one visit and then they want me to come in to try again but want to keep charging me every time - even though they couldn't get it right the first time. They were also dishonest - I asked if they could do a cleaning on my husband's teeth - I said that he had previously seen a periodontist and I was wondering if he could see them or if he needed to go back to a periodontist. They told me that they could do the cleaning but then when my husband arrived for his appointment - after x-rays, an exam, NO CLEANING and approx. $240.00 they told him that he would need to see a periodontist. We don't have health or dental insurance so $240.00 is a lot of money to us right now since we are both currently out of work. It took us three months to come up with the $240.00 and now we cannot pay for a second exam. They should have been honest to begin with and they should have told me upfront that they cannot do the cleaning but I guess they need to pay for their nice office so they try to get what they can when they have an opportunity. I contacted the office and have not received a response. That tells me something right there. I would have given them NO STARS but I have to click on at least one star. read more

I saw Dr. Chris Barrett and his very able assistant, Cathy, about a tooth I was concerned about and thought might need some repair work. I can honestly say that in my many, many years of visiting dentists (I'm 66 years old) for a wide variety of issues (fillings, crowns, caps, root canal), this was by far the best experience I have ever had. The initial exam was amazingly thorough and at each step, Cathy or Dr. Barrett carefully explained what they were doing and why. When it was decided that indeed the tooth needed a new crown, Dr. Barrett performed the necessary work with the same high level of thoroughness and care. Everything was explained in detail, and the work was performed with absolutely no discomfort. I could tell that both Dr. Barrett and Cathy were highly focused on delivering first class care and making it a positive experience for me. And when Cathy made the temporary crown for the tooth I was totally amazed that absolutely no adjustments were necessary to make sure my bite was still comfortable. Historically I've had to sit in the dentist's chair chomping on black marking strip with the dentist grinding away on the temporary trying to make it comfortable. I was shocked that this step was not necessary and that the temporary is completely comfortable. Cathy is also absolutely delightful to work with, extremely professional and exhibits the same level of attention to detail and care that Dr. Barrett exhibits - the best you could hope for! I was also extremely impressed by Dr. Barrett's thoroughness and knowledge in considering other issues that might arise with certain teeth absent taking some proactive action on a few other teeth. Honestly, every element of the care I received was above and beyond anything I have ever received. Even though I had gone in to see Dr. Barrett for an emergency troubling tooth, by the end of my appointment, I had transferred my dental records to his office and decided to see Dr. Barrett as my regular dentist. I recommend Dr. Barrett and Cathy without any qualification. Moreover, the entire practice in this office is well organized and of the highest quality, and everyone I interacted with was extremely professional and warm. I had no idea how great a dental practice could be until visiting Dr. Barrett and Cathy nor could I have imagined how remarkably better this practice is than any I have previously been to. read more
