As I'm getting out my wallet, she looks at my arm and asks "what's that about"? I explain and she says "oh, ok, come back when it's healed. I'll make a note in our system." Huh??? The flow of service was quick & our wait time was about 10 minutes or less. I had some questions regarding the process & the staff member was: very courteous, kind, intelligent, informative & pleasant! Our business took about 5 minutes (even with my questions) & we were on our way to complete the rest of our errands. This was a great start to our errands running day!

That is probably the longest wait which was about five minutes when I went there at 8:35 AM on a Friday with an 8:45 appointment. After getting my number I was called up to get processed after about one minute. It took about 4 minutes to get processed, my photo taken, and issued a temporary driver license. We got there right at opening (8:30 am) on a Friday and were told we could not just wait if we wanted to, we had to have an appt. But we learned that they release new day-of appointment times each morning so we were able to get an appt for later in the afternoon. I came to get a new license after moving to WA from out of state. My appt was at 1:15, I checked in around 1:05, and I believe I left by around 1:30 pm. They didn't actually look at any of the documents I brought with proof of my new address in WA. I wasn't able to transfer my Cali "RealID" to a WA "enhanced ID" unfortunately; so if you need that, make sure you bring a passport or birth certificate (NOT social security card). ALSO BRING CASH OR CHECK if you want to save yourself fees associated with using card (even debit card.) It was clean and quiet inside with ample seating.

You can only do driver license stuff here,I don't think they do road testing anymore and registration is a whole other operation on another street. This DMV does close for lunch and is only open 3 days a week but I highly recommend it. I did get there about half an hour before the lunch break but was told that if I was in the door before the lunch hour that they would serve me. (Which doesn't hold true for the car registration place)

Got there at 458pm. They're licking the door. Won't accept my payment have to come back. 120 mile round trip for me. Wife with cancer, I'm the only one able to work. I go yesterday, get paid, and I made sure my motorcycle endorsement stays in place. Nope, he marked it as I volunteered to waive it. My bike is my main mode of transportation. Why would I waive it? I was on my bike when I was there yesterday and he even saw me. Calling this place is impossible. You can't get a person. Three times I have left my number to hold my spot and it never calls me back. Now I have to leave work for a third time, and watch, his mistake will cost me more money. If I have to reendorse to ride my bike, just so I can go see my wife three hours away in a home, which will really throw things off, I'm gonna be irrate! Absolutely ridiculous.

As I walked into ste #1 to obtain help, I noted that no one else was waiting; one representative…read more(in the middle booth) had an open chair but she was on the phone. I stood by the wall opposite from her window, holding the next-in-line ticket, waiting calmly & patiently, in her direct line of sight. After about 5 minutes she got off the phone, glanced briefly at me & looked away, & said "next". I stepped up. Another client had just entered - a young man. The representative looked at me & said "I believe he was here first". The young man looked surprised & said "no, she (pointing at me) was" & I stepped forwarded & sat down. I commented that perhaps she hadn't seen me...& the representative said, "oh, I saw you..." in a not-very-pleasant tone. She did take care of what I needed, but she clearly had taken an immediate dislike to me & did not want to help me. I have no idea why, as I was polite, pleasant, smiled, & did not complain about having to wait - didn't act impatient (I had plenty of time & was relaxed) - just puzzled by her attitude! I have never gotten that kind of reaction from a business before!!!!! That young woman clearly did not want to help me! She made it very clear....& I'd love to know why! I am a neatly dressed, 60+ local gal, Very average & generally easy-going & pleasant. I'm not used to having anyone take such an instant dislike to me! She did help me with what I needed, which is good, however.

I have received consistently terrible service at this business…read more The employees at this location are unfriendly ('Maria' the manager in particular), and unprofessional. I have spent many years working with the public and I am surprised that a local business would hire employees that do not have basic customer service skills. As I was waiting (for nearly 45 minutes) I watched as an elderly lady entered (obviously lost) needing assistance and another customer had to help her because she was ignored by staff. I watched another customer wait nearly as long as me, to be told they were in the wrong place/wrong line. There are no signs posted anywhere to explain queue processes. Staff will not speak to you until your number is called. The drive through 'tab' line was wrapped around the building and there were at least ten people waiting inside with only two employees. When I inquired about the wait times, I was told by Maria 'Everybody has to wait in lines, even at Starbucks.' And she rolled her eyes. No smiles and no apologies for long wait times. Worst service I've received in a long time.
