The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. It's very good but it's missing the variations in texture that most people look toward carrot cake of providing. It's a very moist cake topped with more of a butter icing than a cream cheese icing. If there is cream cheese in that icing, I would recommend that you switch it toward Philadelphia Cream Cheese since it offers a bit more of a lemon bite to it. The cake itself has no fruit. So, off you hate raisins, have no fear. They are not in there. But, it would be nice if they did have some sort of fruit in the cake to help break up tie monotony of the cake itself. We had two rooms for three nights and got four free ski lift tickets! On our last night there was a planned power outage from 11 PM to 3 AM by the local power company. It went by uneventful though no big deal. The hotel did provide extra blankets and a flashlight for each room. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good. And my son got a nice Philly cheesesteak one night for dinner. I think we'll be back. It's a nice place!
