A little stop on our way through Cedar City Utah. Let me tell you we can't find this good in Los Angeles. I had the lobster ravioli with the added tail. Amazing. The lobster wasn't big but it was enough and tender! And juicy! Our guest had the seafood ravioli. Also amazing. Especially the sauce. Hubs had the rack of lamb. Just excellent. Started with Caesar salad which was also terrific. We took some home to save room for dessert. Sadly we were too full. Highly recommend. read more

Craving steak and pasta after a long day of snowboarding--and let's just say, they did not disappoint. The service was excellent, we were seated immediately and brought out bread to start. The ambiance was very homey and welcoming! Ryan, our server, was great! We had a fun conversation with him, and he recommended some of his favorites, which made the experience even better. We went with a ribeye steak, cooked and flavored to perfection. We also tried the Alfredo pasta with shrimp--it was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. Ended it with three desert because we couldn't choose one-- highly recommend the limoncello. It was very light, with the perfect tinge of lemon. The lava cake & ice cream is always my go to! And the homemade tiramisu was probably my most favorite. I'm honestly not of fan of tiramisu but this was probably one of the best I've tasted. We went to Chef Alfredo's tonight and had an excellent experience. It all started when Julia our server came up and introduced herself. She was recently in a review below and so when she came up, I instantly knew who she was. She was really friendly, really courteous and really knew about the food on the menu. She was a complete pleasure. We had the stuffed mushrooms, the bruschetta, the Caprese salad, the chicken Parmesan, and another chicken dish that I cannot remember the name of. All the food was delicious. The bruschetta was especially good. I would highly recommend anyone stop by who is looking for some great Italian food in Cedar City. Highly recommended! read more

I only rating the Tiramisu as that's all I've ordered from here. Wife and I were passing through town and had a craving after lunch at Johnny Mac's. Ordered Tiramisu to go and immediately ordered 3 of them. Wife laughed at me until she tried it and then Thanked me for getting 3. Lol. Service was friendly and the place was really clean. We come to Cedar City to do the Shakespeare Festival for our anniversary every year and decided to give Chef Alfredo's a try. The decor was surprisingly nice for the location and it was very busy. The menu was quite large and had several delicious-looking dishes. We tried to tri-colored fried ravioli which was great. I had the chicken Parmesan which was average but good. The fresh bread and butter was delicious as well. And their desserts were just what I'd expect from a high quality Italian restaurant. The thing that detracted from the date the most was a comedy of errors when it came to service. The staff were clearly not trained in fine dining at all. To deliver the meals, they used this old rickety cart which made a huge racket and was completely unnecessary. They kept getting our table and the table next to us confused and brought our dishes, set them down on the other table, and then had to pick them back up and serve them to us. At one point a server dropped an entire plate and it went everywhere. Safe to say, their service was not smooth. Overall, for Cedar City, it was fine. Dining options are limited and compared to other restaurants nearby, this is still your best bet for a nice date out. But if they want to compete with bigger cities like Salt Lake City or Vegas, they're going to need to tighten up their service a bit. read more

Chef Al Fredo's did an amazing job for a birthday party of 10 on March the 27. They had set up a table for 10. Our server Sergio was so amazing . Bread was filled , water was filled. Parmesan cheese served. All orders were delicious and warm. He was friendly and professional. We weren't the only party he was serving. The restaurant even let me bring in a cake I had made and store it until we were ready to serve it. Thank you for being so accommodating. 5 stars for sure. read more

We had gone to Chef Alfredo's in st.George and it was just so so. I had said I would try it again with something else so when we saw this place again we gave it a try. I had the chicken Milanese and the wife had the chicken Marsala. As with the last time the service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. We came at 6:00 and it was not super busy but by the time we left there was a line. I would call and make reservations if you are a late diner. This time the food was amazing. I had mine with the risotto and it was prepared perfectly. Tons of flavor. The wife's was also great. We will come by again next time now that we know what is good. read more

Came here for my 6th year anniversary. We are from California staying the weekend in Cedar City but mostly for Zion. We came for dinner and it's a very nice restaurant, very intimate and romantic in my opinion. The waitress "Lovely" is very kind and sweet. 10/10 recommend! read more

Walked in on Christmas Eve 2025 with no reservations and they accommodated us, despite what seemed like a full house. The location of the restaurant was in an unassuming plaza with tastefully decorated interior. What impressed me the most was the great customer service and great food, which pretty much made our evening and helped us conclude our first family ski trip in excellence. We didn't know what to expect, but the food here wowed us, rivaling the quality of any of the fancier and pricier restaurants we frequent in LA. The "Terre Mare" holiday special (surf and turf) that my husband got was seasoned and cooked just right, even without selecting a pricier cut like filet mignon. Both of my daughters loved their pastas, again flavorful and generously portioned. I ate all of my mixed seafood linguini in white wine sauce, enjoying the generous portions of squid, mussel, and clams. We even ordered dessert- holiday special chocolate cake with roasted marshmallow and limoncello cake - and finished both. Not one dish felt extraneous; all of us left feeling full, both in our stomachs and in our holiday spirits. Very grateful to have found this gem of a place. Lovely and Jessica were absolutely lovely haha! Lovely was great in sharing all the specials on the menu with us which we ended up getting one which was the steak and the Parmesan crusted scallops with risotto. I will say it was great the only thing I didn't like was the crust on the scallops but I just took it off and ate the scallop. The other course we got was the carbonara with blackened chicken. I don't really care for the chicken with it, but it was good. We want to come back when we are in town to get the carbonara. Service was spot on! So thank you! Jessica left us with a silly little joke which I thought was really cute and showed her personality. The restaurant is pretty open nothing to fancy but very nice. read more

Excellent food and atmosphere. We found this on Yelp as we were spending the night in Cedar City, UT. First, a wonderful place with excellent atmosphere. Second, the food was superb! My wife got the pork chop in a cherry sauce with potatoes and asparagus, while I had the butternut squash ravioli's. The dessert was also good we shared the creme brulee. A group of recovering English teachers were in Cedar City for the Shakespeare Fest and celebrating a special (75th!!) birthday. We chose Chef Alfredo's for our celebration dinner, and it was absolutely perfect! We sat on the patio, surrounded by pots of herbs and flowers; we had a delightful server who loves his job and loves serving his guests; the hostess was friendly and asked who the birthday guest was; and above all, the food was wonderful. We all got something different and shared tastes, and every dish was beautifully prepared and presented AND tasted divine. The first comment all of us made was how reasonably priced the dishes were. Chef Alfredo's is excellent. The food is awesome and service is great! Our only complaint after coming in for a second Saturday is the noise. Ask to not be seated by the door because every time it swings open you can hear pots and pans banging from the kitchen! Definitely messes with the atmosphere. We asked our server to move tables and they mentioned it was the dishwasher and they would ask them to quiet down. It disrupted our night a couple times but other than that, everything was wonderful. I ordered Black & Bleu Filet Mignon with a fettuccinec side. The bread was several toasted pieces of bread. Crunchy. Air fryer-like. Ok, with olive oil-balsamic, but I like soft, fresh bread better. The entree was deliciouly rich and perfect. Steak cooked perfectly med rare, veggies cooked perfectly fresh and crunchy. It's easy to overcook zucchini, but these were seared and done. Just right. My daughter asked me where I wanted to go for Fathers Day and I chose Chef Alfredo's. The service was very very good. The waiter was excellent. It was nice to see a upscale setting with white table clothes'. We both had the Cesar salad...but, I wanted to add more lemon and parmesan...which they gave me. You can see people in casual wear and even lower which does not suit the restaurant itself. I like to dress nicely and a bit classy and so does my wife Anne. I think the the buffalo Mozzarella was a bit strong for me but, I appreciated the chef uses the real thing. The pasta side with my eggplant parmesan was wonderful. The portions served amazingly nice. My daughter had the vegetable stuffed chicken breast which was cooked just correctly. I had some Italian sparkling wine, which I loved and we both shared the spumoni cheese cake. I was one of the best Father's Day dinner I have had. Thank you my daughter and thank you Ches Alfredo's for the outstanding meal. read more
