    Stuffed Mushrooms

We went to Chef Alfredo's tonight and had an excellent experience. It all started when Julia our server came up and introduced herself. She was recently in a review below and so when she came up, I instantly knew who she was. She was really friendly, really courteous and really knew about the food on the menu. She was a complete pleasure. We had the stuffed mushrooms, the bruschetta, the Caprese salad, the chicken Parmesan, and another chicken dish that I cannot remember the name of. All the food was delicious. The bruschetta was especially good. I would highly recommend anyone stop by who is looking for some great Italian food in Cedar City. Highly recommended!

I got the Linguine Frutti Di Mare (4/5), which was pretty good! There was a ton of good seafood! The noodles were also good, although I wish there was a little more, and I was not a huge fan of the red sauce. The service was good (4/5), and the restaurant has a fancier vibe (4/5).

We were in town and looking for somewhere special to eat for my birthday dinner. Chef Alfredo's was a perfect choice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed the delicious food, charming ambience, and excellent service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was lick the plate kind of good. Not that I did, but I wanted to. My boyfriend got the chicken Alfredo and my daughter got the kid pizza. Both had nothing but good things to say about their dishes.

We come to Cedar City to do the Shakespeare Festival for our anniversary every year and decided to give Chef Alfredo's a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was surprisingly nice for the location and it was very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu was quite large and had several delicious-looking dishes. We tried to tri-colored fried ravioli which was great. I had the chicken Parmesan which was average but good. The fresh bread and butter was delicious as well. And their desserts were just what I'd expect from a high quality Italian restaurant. The thing that detracted from the date the most was a comedy of errors when it came to service. The staff were clearly not trained in fine dining at all. To deliver the meals, they used this old rickety cart which made a huge racket and was completely unnecessary. They kept getting our table and the table next to us confused and brought our dishes, set them down on the other table, and then had to pick them back up and serve them to us. At one point a server dropped an entire plate and it went everywhere. Safe to say, their service was not smooth. Overall, for Cedar City, it was fine. Dining options are limited and compared to other restaurants nearby, this is still your best bet for a nice date out. But if they want to compete with bigger cities like Salt Lake City or Vegas, they're going to need to tighten up their service a bit.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice spot in Cedar City to enjoy dinner[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was clean with nice lighting and enjoyable music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was decent. The waiter was young, and didn't know wine, but nice and attentive. The food was very nice. The starter bread was tasty. The dishes, family style, were plenty and done well. This is my second visit and I'll return.

We had gone to Chef Alfredo's in st.George and it was just so so. I had said I would try it again with something else so when we saw this place again we gave it a try. I had the chicken Milanese and the wife had the chicken Marsala. As with the last time the service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. We came at 6:00 and it was not super busy but by the time we left there was a line. I would call and make reservations if you are a late diner. This time the food was amazing. I had mine with the risotto and it was prepared perfectly. Tons of flavor. The wife's was also great. We will come by again next time now that we know what is good.

Came here for my 6th year anniversary. We are from California staying the weekend in Cedar City but mostly for Zion. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came for dinner and it's a very nice restaurant, very intimate and romantic in my opinion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress "Lovely" is very kind and sweet. 10/10 recommend!

    Carbonara with blackened chicken
    Natallie K.

Lovely and Jessica were absolutely lovely haha! Lovely was great in sharing all the specials on the menu with us which we ended up getting one which was the steak and the Parmesan crusted scallops with risotto. I will say it was great the only thing I didn't like was the crust on the scallops but I just took it off and ate the scallop. The other course we got was the carbonara with blackened chicken. I don't really care for the chicken with it, but it was good. We want to come back when we are in town to get the carbonara. Service was spot on! So thank you! Jessica left us with a silly little joke which I thought was really cute and showed her personality. The restaurant is pretty open nothing to fancy but very nice.

Not busy at all. Friendly service. Food was decent. Bread is ok. I tried the gnocchi, it was ok. The spinach on it wasn't great.

At home! I was my last day visiting, so we wanted to hang out at home. We ordered the lasagna, I know... Impossible as they are always out, chicken pesto, and the Positano - rigatoni. Even though we had them as carryout, the food is excellent regardless of whether it's in the restaurant or at home. The front desk guy noted how we were lucky, we got the last piece of lasagna! With that in mind, and all the reviews, we had very high expectations for the lasagna. Collectively, out of 5 stars, we would rate the lasagna a 4. It was tasty, and the white sauce that it was served with was delicious, we enjoyed that twist on the standard red sauce lasagna. For me, while it was excellent, I felt the Positano rigatoni dish was much tastier. We all agreed the lasagna, while excellent, was a bit salty for us. The pesto pasta we added with chicken. It was a very good dish. My son was a bit disappointed as he said it was very light on the pesto compared to the last time he had ordered it, it had a lot more pesto. I tended to agree that it was very light in the flavor, I would say almost an imperceptible hint of pesto. We were looking forward to a robust pesto dish. But it was still a good dish! We would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. Now for the piece de resistance... The Positano rigatoni. The sauce was rich and flavorful and delicious! Italian sausage was a treat... This is definitely our favorite and for us, the most flavorful. My son's girlfriend has ordered it previously, and we all agreed we understood the recommendation! 5/5. Although we did not dine in, the restaurant is beautiful, light and airy, a very open ambience. Next time I am in town for a visit, we will definitely dine in!

It was tender, flavorful, soft, and decadent Tuna Nigri: I absolutely did not like this. It did not taste fresh....it had a very metallic taste as if it was freezer burnt! So huge no. I am in no business to say what food is fresh and frozen simply because I can't see the import, but it was most definitely not fresh. Overall, the service is impeccable, the staff are always on it and I appreciate the service. I would probably order something else next time. Total came out to $42.64 was it worth it? The hostess seated us promptly (with luggage in tow). The restaurant is pretty spacious, so that worked out just fine. We enjoyed our food (a cobb salad for me and a burger for her). Janessa was our server and she was lovely and attentive. We then made a reservation for a larger group for that Saturday evening and Kyle and Mia helped us out... The reservation needed adjustment last minute due to a change in schedule that day and after multiple phone calls, they were able to accommodate that change. Note: it seems there is not a direct phone number to the restauarant so I had to work with someone in the hotel lobby for this. Interestingly enough, we ended up having dinner here on Friday as well with a large group. Huge thanks to Kyle and staff for working with us that evening... We worked out a large group order to-go but sat down for our drinks. Need to know: Due to Utah Liquor laws, adults who are drinking alcoholic beverages must be seated... that was a new fun fact I learned when making the reservation. On Saturday night, the restaurant had a bit of a condensed menu and they were out of salmon, which was a bit disappointing, but after having 3 meals here, we do recommend the wings, nachos, and burgers. The area in the back of the restaurant with games including ping pong is great for the kids and there is also a grassy area out back too. I know that this restaurant is fairly new and working out the kinks... I look forward to returning in the future as I know it will continue to get better.

I specifically mentioned that we were hoping to watch Supercross, and I was assured that wouldn't be a problem. However, when we arrived at our reserved time, we were told they would "look into" changing the channel because they weren't sure they could access Peacock. We decided to stay, ordered drinks and appetizers, and checked in multiple times with our waiter. Each time, we were told they were still working on it. After waiting for over an hour, we were finally told they couldn't put it on after all. The most frustrating part is that we would have completely understood if they had told us upfront. We could have made other plans and gone somewhere that could accommodate our request. Instead, we spent a significant part of the evening waiting and hoping, which took away from what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. Afterward, I noticed similar feedback from other guests about difficulties getting channels changed, even when it seemed possible. That was disappointing to see and makes it feel like this may be a recurring issue. The service itself was polite, but better communication and follow-through would have made a big difference in our experience.

The foods, spinach and artichoke dip, stuffed shells, fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, blackened chicken carbonara, and tortellini with parm crusted chicken. Best bite was the blackened chicken carbonara, the heavily seasoned chicken breast with the creamy carbonara was the perfect mix. The spinach and artichoke dip was also pretty good, heavy handed on the garlic but tasty. Oh! The fresh free bread with the olive oil and balsamic on the table *might* fill you up before the meal, it was a good starter. The desserts tiramisu and crème brûlée, tiramisu was ok, quite boozy. Okay the highlight was the wild game meatloaf which was also the saving grace because I normally don't like meatloaf and this one was really well done.
