I recently reached out to Dave at Derby City Security to help me with the installation of a maglock that we needed installed. Dave and his team came out immediately and assessed our situation and came up with a plan. Their service and professionalism are unmatched. They did a great job on our gate and service set up and I highly recommend them for any of your security needs. They do just what they say and are very economically priced. I wish I could give zero stars I haven't been getting monitoring for the last 8 months per the ass whole that came to service my dead battery that the man over the phone diagnosed. I had a service call for my alarm making funny noises for a couple of days, so I called, and a technician was sent out. as he proceeded to change the battery, he told me that I hadn't had monitoring for the last 8 months . but I've been charged every month. needless to say as he's walking around my shop with his whole ass showing he's showing a lot of attitude as if he doesn't want to work. at the end of changing the battery, he asked for a payment, which was a surprise to me because I wasn't told that on the phone. I had a few questions, and he ignored me and proceeded to call the office. he then went and snatched the battery out of the box and went to walk out. I asked if he could put the other one back in. he said nope and walked out. but what made matters worse is when I called the office to tell the I guess owner what had happened and asked if I could be refunded my money that had been charged over the last 8 months with no monitoring. he proceeded to tell me it's my job to check every week to make sure my service is working. I've never heard of that this is going on all while I have a shop full of clients. I am in disbelief with this quote family business but will be taking my business elsewhere read more

Dustin did a wonderful job installing, answering our questions and making sure everything was a 100% before he left. Also, the next day he checked on us and made sure we didn't have any questions. They are very responsive and professional. Highly recommend Derby City Security. read more

Called and secretary sent up an appointment for someone to look at the system already in house fro other owner. Got a call the day they were suppose to come out and was told some one hadn't showed up for work and wanted to reschedule for another day. We waited that day and no one showed up so I called when they didn't show up after 1 hour. I was told they didn't schedule someone just to look at the show up just to evaluate a system only to activate a system. And jus kept repeating what it cost per month. I told him to forget it I would call someone else and hung up. Not a way to do business. read more

I used Derby city for my security camera system. I have had my system for about 6 months now and all is great. I had an issue when I changed the router and modem, called them up and got it fixed right away. Excellent service and after the sale follow up. read more
