I previously wrote a rave review on another website for Nick Tisdale (the owner) who installed our 65" smart TV with soundbar and headphones. He met us at Costco (which does not deliver), carried it out for us and brought it to our house. He was excellent in all respects: had to order the appropriate extra parts, priced everything fairly and did a great job. He was extremely easy to work with, and took the time to explain and even write out the various functions of the remote control. A week or two later, after TWC replaced our cable box with a digital model, the tech could not get our satellite speakers to function. I called Nick and he very willingly spoke to the tech while at our house, but still no luck. I emailed Nick and arranged to have hime come here for a service call. He came today (a Saturday!) and spent almost 90 minutes with the setup. He called Vizio soundbar techs more than once to get some manufacturer's info (it turned out that the problem did not involve the installation originally made by Nick, but the details of the soundbar specs that were not immediately available until those phone calls.) Once again he had the entire setup working, explained the additional control functions, and answered all of our questions about associated TV applications. Total charge for the extra service? Zero! I know this is a wordy review, but I wanted to take the time and space to detail this highly satisfactory experience. (BTW, I have absolutely no personal, financial or other arrangement with this company). He is a patient, pleasant, accommodating, reliable and knowledgable worker. I highly recommend him for TV installation, and would be my go-to guy if I ever need support for Apple or PC problems as well. read more

I dropped my phone on my closed MacBook which completely broke the screen. I took it to an Apple store and they told me it would be close to $900.00 to replace the screen. I have had this laptop for less than 6 months, so I was completely bummed. I stumbled across Thumbtack looking for a cheaper alternative and found Nick at Repair IT. He quoted me before even walking into the store just by asking for my laptop serial number. He then ordered the new screen, and told me he would let me know when it arrived. This past Monday, I stressed to him that I needed it back no later than Wednesday morning for a business trip (at this point, the new screen has not even arrived yet). He told me that once the part arrived he would need 1 hour to complete the work, so the Wednesday turnaround time should not be a problem. Sure enough, I dropped it off Tuesday around 2:30 and was back to pick it up around 4:00 on Tuesday. I was completely shocked when Nick called to tell me it was ready. I am a senior citizen and not so good with computers. I had purchased a new computer from Office Depot so I started out with them but they did not want to take the time to solve my problem. They had transferred all my info over from my old computer but the information was in a mess and I could not make any sense out of it. I found Repair It in the Yellow Pages and decided to give them a try. Jeremy is a genius and solved by problems. At a later time I got a virus because I engaged in conversation from someone who called my house and claimed to be from Microsoft. He managed to give me a virus even though I didn't fall for his story and pay the fee he was asking. Again Jeremy came to the rescue and fixed everything very promptly. A few months ago a lightning strike fried my computer. I didn't know where to take it. I looked at online ads and something told me that Repair IT seemed more professional than most. I knew what needed to be done but was not techie enough to do it myself. I went there, discussed the work and the price. The discussion reinforced my early impression. And my sister, who does this same work in Oklahoma, told me the price was very reasonable. They did the work and the (older model) desktop works better than new. I bought a computer off of fb marketplace to play some games on. It started shutting down while I was playing it which is bad news bears. Nick mounted two TV sets for us. One above the fireplace and one in bedroom. I must say that he did an excellent job. He was very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. These guys were fantastic. They have worked on two units for us. More recently my father's computer needed to be cleaned from viruses and updated. They did it right away for a very reasonable cost and then even worked with us remotely to set up a printer. I even purchased their virus protection and computer update software.
