We walked in to make an inquiry about a reupholstery project, and although this particular job is outside of the scope of their specialty, I enjoyed browsing the well appointed interiors of the store and chatting with a friendly employee there. At the Home store, they sell custom furniture and work with you for fabrics selection and other particulars for your specifications. Apparently the MDG comes from Park City, Utah, where the Greatest Snow on Earth is! This fact maybe entirely unrelated to your home design needs, but knowing that Morgan Design Group has started back in 1993 there may provide for some reassurances that they are experienced in what they are doing. They provide design and space planning for new construction or remodeling projects, interior design services including furniture, accessories, art, and window treatments. They can make selections for tile, cabinetry, flooring, moldings, and things like that, via working with your contractor, architect, or landscape designer.

I never opened this box and the photos of the damaged cabinet they sent me were clearly not my returned item. Predatory and dishonest business... buyer beware!

Harry Singh only seems to respond to emails about once every two weeks, making it almost impossible to move the order process forward. Calling isn't any better--you end up on hold for a very long time, and when someone finally answers, they often ask if they can call you back. Unfortunately, those callbacks never happen. I've also left multiple voicemails without ever receiving the help I needed. I'm sure the in-store staff is wonderful, but since special orders have to be handled over the phone, the lack of communication and follow-through has made the experience incredibly frustrating. I hope they improve their customer service because it has been the biggest obstacle to doing business with them. We ended up ordering an item from a different vendor because we couldn't get anywhere with the online support staff.

We came in looking for a sectional and tried out a few couches that they had on display. Person helping us was very nice and patient with our questions although not extremely knowledgable about some of the products they sell.. she only works there part time, so if you happen to deal with her and you call/email, she might not respond right away. We were told they do not work on commissions, so there would be no problem contacting another salesperson with questions. There was another salesperson there that works full time, but we got the sense from her that unless she sees you as a "big enough" client, she will not waste her time. Mind you some of the sofas/sectionals we were considering would run starting with $6500. When we left we took some fabric swatches fully expecting to possibly order one of their sectionals. We were never told that if the swatch is not returned we would be charged $25 per swatch. We were also not told that we needed to return these swatches in a few days. After a week has passed and they realized that we would probably not be purchasing a sectional from them they started emailing and calling to return these swatches.

Most crucially, Katerina calmly and expertly troubleshooted through an unexpected joist issue that necessitated rethinking one whole section of the kitchen. Although one cabinet had to be removed from the design in order to keep a post in place, she took the opportunity to add another cabinet that more than made up for it, as well as to McGyver a whole new additional storage area where it had seemed impossible.
