Really nice local laundromat with great staff. Went on a Saturday morning to wash our summer guests' bed linens including king sized sheets, mattress cover, blankets, headboard cover and comforter. A young lady working there helped us navigate which machines and settings would work best. They have extra large commercial washing and dryer machines which is why we were there. There is a quarter machine that takes only bills up to 20 dollar denomination so leave the credit card and smart apps at home. If you forget your laundry soap, bleach or softener there is a cash only machine as well. They offer a drop off and pickup and drop off service which is a great for those without cars or unable to walk. It's clean, has large screen TV and small vending machine with a few snacks all costing just one dollar! read more

Our post of July 28, 2025 was in error. Hotel told us this place did our laundry. Never found out who charged an outrageous rate. Darby has been in Salem for decades and has outstanding reputation in the community. read more

Been doing the wash and fold service for the last couple months and I love it. My clothes are always perfectly folded and sorted, making it super easy to put them away. The attendants are so nice and helpful, they always offer to help bring it out to my car. I've used other wash and fold services locally but this is the best one, IMO. read more

My Dryer wasn't working so I decided to try wash, dry & fold. Mike ( the friendly owner) came and picked up my laundry plus dropped it off back at my home. Everything was really clean and folded so nicely ! The price was very good also. This is The Place to go. They also have the option of You doing your own laundry and have beautiful machines. Excellent service, Michael is a lovely gentleman, very prompt in responding to phone calls. Had comforter and duvet cover with insert laundered; both were heavy and difficult to handle. Returned clean, folded and in plastic bags ready for storage. read more

I've used both the wash, dry, fold service as well as their machines. Everything is clean and well organized. Prices are very fair. I get a text when the wash, dry, fold is done. I took off a star for the cash-only policy and the fact that they don't have an ATM. I'm your fairly typical cash-free modern person, and whenever I can get over there to pick stuff up, I remember that as usual, I have no cash. If they had an ATM, problem solved. I have a super long commute and I'm usually all stressed-out, hyper busy, and forgetful, which is the reason why I have someone else doing my laundry! They might also consider taking checks. But if this is not a problem for you, you will find this a five-star experience for sure. read more

I've used the wash/dry/fold service once. It was alright but honestly no different from any of the other places I've taken my laundry for the same service. Plus there's some kind of weird system where you have to drop your laundry off by a certain time Thursday to have it ready by Monday or possibly Tuesday. And if you wanted to drop your clothes off on the weekend, there were special rules. And there was a charge if your laundry didn't meet the minimum weight. And you had to pay cash which I've never, ever done before. Given all the hoops I had to jump through, when I got my laundry back I thought it would be perfectly folded or maybe on hangers or something. But no. It was the same cleaned laundry stacked in a plastic bag I've gotten at every other place I've gone. Too much laundry drama. read more

There's lots of washers and dryers for different sized loads. The machines are only coin operated though. There's lots of seating, carts, and folding tables and a snack machine. It's very clean and well kept and the staff are friendly. Not much parking though. read more

I just wanted to say this laundromat has the friendliest staff and owner. They really take pride in what they do and strive to give the best customer service. A couple weeks ago I had my laundry washed folded and dried. The price was very affordable. They texted me the next day to let me know my laundry was done. I thought a couple pieces of clothing had gone missing. I called the owner and she went above and beyond to figure out what could possibly have happened to my "missing laundry" come to find find out nothing was missing and it was my own self who has misplaced the missing articles. But I just wanted to point out how much the owner cared and wanted to make sure my experience was pleasant. And it certainly was. I highly recommend this laundromat! read more

I had an amazing experience with Derby Street Laundry! I called in the morning and they were able to get my laundry in for the "wash, dry, and fold" service within in 30 minutes and they had it done in 1 hour! They were so accommodating and friendly! I'm so glad I used their service! I would absolutely recommend them. They are WONDERFUL! Wish I lived in the area and could use them more often. I wish I could give a 0 rating. I brought in 31lbs of Wash Dry Fold service to be done, and when I picked up my clothes they were crinkled and thrown in the bag - no even remotely folder the way one would expect when they are paying the cost of getting laundry done. I paid, and noticed how poorly the clothes were done, and told the man at the counter that I could not pay for this. He sat there texting the owner, when I explained I had a cab waiting outside as I live a few miles away. I finally get the owner, who admitted she was not there, nut knows they clothes were done fine because her husband was there earlier that day. I told her I took a picture, which she never offered to look at. She only tole me the service could not be done for free, and I could leave them to be refolded. I pay to get back and forth there, so that was not a possibility. I could not miss my ride so I just left, and when I got home I even noticed one of my favorite sweaters had a hold in the shoulder.
