Initially, I came here to have a second opinion on a certain procedure I wanted to have done. I am so happy to say I have had a pleasurable experience at Dr. Yagudin's office. For one, I immediately noticed the ambiance of the office to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, clean, and organized. This was somewhat important to me since this was my first visit to his office; I had a good first impression. When I went into the exam room for a consultation, he went into depth on giving me a brief mini-lesson (literally, went on to show me a visual presentation with a pen and paper, which I thoroughly appreciated) on what I exactly have and what the best approach would be for me to take. He ended up telling me it would be best for me to wait it out and gave me alternative approaches to what I could do in the meantime. I came out of this free consultation being told to save my money when he easily could have made good money off of me, but instead, he gave me the blunt truth and told me what his suggestions were for me in my case. I've gone to Dr. Yuriy Yagudin for many years and was always happy with his services. He listened to my concerns and presented himself as a thoughtful guy. However, the last time I was there in August of 2022, for under eye filler, he didn't fill the whole under eye area. (See Stella S's 2 star review) When I returned in October of this year for a touch up for the service I was not happy with, he said I would have to pay $400 hundred more. Though I requested that the touch up be free, he insisted that I would have to pay. (This was the first time I had requested a touch up in all the years I had gone to him, which was about 13 years.) I noticed that the box of filler he was pushing, Belotero, had the word SAMPLE on it and when I mentioned this to Yuri, he replied offhandedly, "that doesn't matter." Well guess what? It does matter! (When he went out of the room, I took a photo of the sample filler with my cell phone as evidence.) A SAMPLE is free and here he was charging for a touch up that I felt he shouldn't have been charging for in the first place using a free SAMPLE. He took the vial of filler from one of those SAMPLE boxes and used this under my eyes. That was a shocker, but I stupidly didn't say anything else about it. On my way out, I paid 200 hundred cash to Jennifer, his administrative assistant, but luckily my credit card wouldn't go through for the rest. The first procedure and the touch up brought me to a $1050 dollar payment ($850 and $200) for a badly done job that didn't last more than a few months. (It would have been $1250 for a bad job had my card gone through!) Before this, my under eye filler would last from 1 1/2 to 2 years. Dr. Yagudin's SAMPLE filler lasted only lasted around 2 months. Because my under eyes area looked terrible, I went a few days ago--the beginning of this November, also of 2022--to another cosmetic Doc., who did a wonderful job. Of course it cost me more money, $600 more, because Yuri had done a substandard job--for both the first session AND for the touch up session. That cost me and I would like a full refund for a service that failed miserably, but that probably won't happen. Unfortunately, Yuri has lost his way. Before this, I always appreciated him, but now he should be ashamed of his actions. You don't treat a long time patient--or any patient for that matter--who you'd like to keep as a patient--in this underhanded, shoddy manner. Our doctor patient relationship has been irreparably broken and I'll never return to Dermacare Medical or Dr. Yuriy Yagudin again. I'm thinking about putting a complaint into the New York State Department of Health and to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Not that bad. He did laser for sun spots that took about perhaps 5 - 8 minutes. I thought the treatment would also include my beautiful bald head with also has some sun spots. He said, "I'll have to charge you $300 to do your head too". Call me crazy but $300 for 8 minutes of work is well, I gotta get int that business. He's a decent enough fellow though. \NOTE: His website says this treatment is $299 but they don't tell you that 3-5 sessions are recommend. I had the PPP removal done at Dr Yagudin's facility 2 weeks a ago. Dr Yagudin explained everything that would happen with the procedure thoroughly and also showed me pictures of what to expect right after and after everything was healed up. After the procedure was done he also gave me through instructions on care for when I was home and also his contact info in case any problems arose. The procedure was a complete success! No more PPP showing anywhere, like they never existed! The total time for me was 2 hours. Most of that time was waiting to make sure the numbing agent took affect. The only downside is the office location has no assigned parking and finding a parking spot or garage in Manhattan is a major pain. I was driving around at 11am and it was still rough. I'm a repeat client of Dr. Yagudin for skin fillers and Botox. I've had different experiences with him. I loved the fillers he did under my eyes, but I didn't like what he did with my lips. For that reason I tend to go to three different doctors in the city. I go to one guy for the lips, to Yagudin for the under eye and cheek filler, and to another person for Botox. I like to diversify. Sometimes it's about your expectations, and not about wether or not the doctor does the procedure "perfectly". What's perfect in your eyes, may not be perfect in his eyes. So when I disliked the way he did my lips, I was upset, but not because of his technique, but because I didn't see what I personally wanted to see. Doctors tend to insist on what's "anatomically correct" which is bottom lip heavier than top. Well, I think they need to think outside the box, and ask for what the patient wants. If we all thought that nature was doing awesome things, and we need to follow what's "anotomically correct", then we wouldn't get any work done. Right? Anyways, I plan to go back to him for cheek and under-eye treatment with fillers. I had great results, and they lasted a couple of years. read more

I think Dr. Yagudin is a master when it comes to using the filler Juvederm. He essentially reconstructed my cheeks that had lost fullness due to age and stress. Equally important, he was able to deftly make small adjustments during subsequent visits. These subsequent visits, I believe, were highly collaborative, which I think is an essential component when one wants to achieve certain small adjustments to one's appearance. I have always been pleased with the results. It may be that the ability to handle these types of fillers with great skill is commonplace, but to find a doctor with whom one feels comfortable enough to speak openly, precisely and freely about one's desires and one's concerns is hugely important it seems to me. It is after all one's face. Sometimes he has advised against adding more filler, and he was right and I was so glad I listened. And other times I was right and was grateful that he was willing to listen to me.
