Your website clearly states the estimated length of each laser treatment (for example, full legs - 20 minutes, stomach line - 15 minutes), so I had certain expectations regarding the quality and thoroughness of the service. I arrived early for my appointment and was the only client in the waiting room. After waiting about five minutes, the technician brought me in on time. From the start, there was very little communication. She only asked the standard questions about retinol use, antibiotics, and similar medical information, but she never explained the treatment process or what to expect during the session. What concerned me most was the treatment itself. The technician did not mark or properly assess the treatment areas, and it felt like she was simply guessing rather than being precise. She didn't pause to check that every area had been treated evenly. When I asked her to lower the air pressure because I was uncomfortable, my request was ignored. This location is not the same since the previous technicians left. The level of professionalism and attention to detail has noticeably declined. There was no welcoming atmosphere, no effort to make me feel comfortable, and no sense of structure. What was especially frustrating is that there wasn't a single other client waiting, yet the technician still rushed through my appointment. The session was completed much faster than expected, and I honestly do not believe all of the treatment areas were covered properly. Laser hair removal should be performed carefully and methodically. The technician should be checking that every section is treated evenly rather than rushing through the appointment. As a paying customer, I expect a thorough treatment that matches the standards your company advertises. I left feeling like my appointment was rushed and that I did not receive the quality of care I paid for. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future clients receive the level of service they deserve

They really couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. I was assisted by Carlos who was cool as heck. I appreciate the fact that Carlos told me up front that the color in my tattoo would not come out (I have a 28 y.o. Nefertiti tat. Her crown is shaded in blue and there's also some red and green in her necklace). They could easily get the black ink out, but with the colors, the laser wouldn't be able to differentiate between the ink colors and my glorious melanin. So the laser might remove all of the color, including my glorious melanin, and leave me with a pale spot there (hypopigmentation). There's also be a possibility that the skin in that area would darken (hyperpigmentation). Carlos told me of a Complete Removal package for $1,790 where you go back every eight weeks (to give your skin time to heal in between treatments) until your tat is completely gone. I was also told of a $690 package...that I wasn't too interested in because, initially, I was going to take the Complete Removal package. Another Yelper has mentioned in their review of Removary that if the whole $1,790 is not used, you will be refunded the unused portion, which sounds awesome. I've decided to keep Queen Nefertiti with me. I came to that decision after watching videos of people with skin like mine share their stories. Before going in, I thought tattoo removal would be the same for all. If you Google, you'll see a lot of pics of tats completely removed from white skin with just a couple of Black folks sprinkled in. There's a reason for that. And the tats removed from Black skin are all black ink tats. If you're white, they can completely remove your tat; black AND colored ink. If you're Black, they can get black ink outta ya, but colored ink, not so much. There are a couple of videos on You Tube where Black gals have shared their tattoo removal stories. There are a couple of videos on You Tube mentioning the PiQo4 and PicoSure lasers to completely remove tats from Black skin. However, those videos only make the claim. They do not show the results. After my consultation with Removary, I'd had another consultation at Disappearing Inc. Just for a consultation, they required a credit card number (if you cancel within 24 hrs, they charge you $50 for a weekday appt and $100 for a Saturday appt.) Once I was there, they also asked for I.D. When I asked what that was about, they gave me two excuses. Excuse #1: "it's for insurance purposes. We need to make sure the person who did their paperwork is the same as the one being treated." Do they really have THAT many people lying about who they are? Excuse #2: "It's just standard protocol because some choose to be treated during (the consultation)." Ok, but I never asked to be treated during mine.... Anywho, I prefer Removary because I didn't feel they were trying to bulls**t me. Nor were they condescending... Whoa, instead of talking about my dissapointing Disappearing Inc. experience here, lemme mosey on over to their page and leave it there. Anywho, if I had a recommend a tat removal spot, it would, hands down, be Removary!

Horrible place that likes to discriminate against people. I got to my appointment early, Eve tells me" Oo your early want to go have coffee or for a walk outside" meanwhile she has a waiting room. Also it's raining outside. I stare at her silently then she finally says " Or you can sit and wait in here". I walked In with a mask over my nose and EVE tells me "Oo that mask is not going to work" asks me to change into a different mask she gave me, so i did. Then after I'm in the waiting room for about 20 minutes she comes out tells me to pull my mask over my nose. I ask her if there is a problem then she tells me I need to show her proof of vaccination. I tell her " this is not a restaurant nor am I here to eat" she tells me I must show proof. I tell her I can leave if there is a problem she tells me this ain't the right place for me that I need to go. What a way to discriminate against people and loose business . She did not ask the guy before me for proof of vaccination only me. I will be reporting this business for discrimination. Racist white Lady Eve needs to learn better manners. This place is amazing. I came in with a small finger tattoo that the tattoo artist had used too heavy of a hand on- half of the tattoo had blurred/bleeding lines. Norela fixed it right up and for an amazing price. We carefully discussed all of our options, and she even told me that it may be better to wait and see how it fades over time- in absolutely no way, shape, or form did I feel any pressure from her to remove it, and she genuinely wanted what was best for me. I decided we should proceed with trying to touch it up with removal, and within a few minutes, the bleeding lines were gone! I finally love my tattoo that I initially regretted even getting. Today was my first session with Samantha and it was sucha wonderful experience. She answered all my questions and made me extremely comfortable and reassured all my worries. It actually didn't hurt as much as I thought it would! Every room is unbelievably clean The whole studio is designed so beautiful. their prices are very fair and they care that your experience is always good every time you are there. I come every 4 to 8 weeks to get a treatment of having a tattoo lasered off. I have a low pain tolerance so it's sometimes a painful experience and they're always very understanding and never let me feel like I'm being weak. I absolutely love NAAMA!! They also have vitamin drips and shots which I'm going to be starting my next visit next month . I'm unaware if every place details this but if they mess up your face or etc, you will not be entitled to a refund or even them fixing your mistake. You'd have to pay additional. That made me uneasy but I thought I'd be able to discuss things with the doctor. After a brief wait I was put into a room with Claudia. They asked what I was interested in and I stated a few things but they never discussed the laser. I had checked off many things I was interested in but I was primarily there to discuss laser as stated when I made the appt. They start discussing chemical peels and as a black woman I was uneasy with how quickly they were ready to try that. Like where is the doctor? Do you not realize my concerns with your level of care when it comes to melanated skin? I'm not going to jump into a chemical peel knowing lack of understanding for my skin type in this industry. To make matters more odd, one of the front desk workers came into the room as Claudia and I were discussing options. She felt very pushy like when you're car shopping and the manager comes over to close the deal. All in all I felt pressured to get something even though I genuinely wanted a consultation with the doctor. I genuinely wanted to discus scar removal via laser .I ended up getting a diamond facial for $275 that I didn't want. The facial itself was fine, Claudia did a great job. However, I left feeling dissatisfied and pushed into buying something I wasn't even there for. My search for a place that can reduce scaring on brown skin with laser will continue. The tattoo is black and about 8 inches in length on my rib cage. Upon doing some research I noticed that Madison Avenue Face & Body offered lidocaine injections to numb the area before removal. This caught my interest as I was desperate to just finish 1 complete session without crying and panicking. Dr. Alvarez and his staff are extremely pleasant and supportive. They provide their clientele with the utmost quality of care and comfort. The staff applied numbing cream to my tattoo 20 minutes prior to the lidocaine injections and even turned on some Netflix for me. Dr. Alvarez then proceeded to inject the area with lidocaine. During the session I started to feel nervous because of my unpleasant encounters with laser tattoo removal in the past. The staff held my hand and Dr. Alvarez was incredibly reassuring. I was so shocked that it only took 5 minutes to finish! I'm extremely satisfied with the professionalism and hospitality I had experienced here. Would absolutely come back for my next session and possibly fillers next time!

I also think the business manager's responses to critical reviews are a bit gaslighting and customer blaming so the four stars also reflect that. Overall, I would recommend Park Slope Laser but only if you request Rima cause she's an empathetic and knowledgeable provider!

The injector lacked experience with a specific filler and resulted in an unnatural appearance. When I returned a few days later, they attributed the issue to swelling. However, it is important to note that when injected with this filler, the results are immediate. Failing to address the problem gives the med spa an unprofessional image. The only viable option was a machine that could potentially dissolve the filler, which unfortunately proved ineffective. What should have been offered was a smaller syringe of the filler for minor touch-ups, but this was not provided, which is disappointing. Despite being a customer since 2019, this was my final visit. I strongly advise against recommending this establishment to others, as the outcomes can be inconsistent. Additionally, it is concerning that the injector engaged in verbal confrontation with me, despite being the one responsible for the error. This behavior is detrimental to customer retention and signifies the beginning of a decline.

I was cursed with pale, thin lips that were uneven. Savannah has completely transformed them! They're beautiful now and I find myself not applying lipstick as much because I just love the way they look. Savannah numbs up your lips during the process and it was very easy. It wasn't painful and during the second session I think I napped a tiny bit. It's so natural looking too that I almost forgot what a difference there was until I saw a before and after. My boyfriend even asked what I had done and then I showed him the photo and he was amazed! The healing process was very easy and fast. I think I was fully healed in a week.
