I've never been unhappy with a treatment although when I had a question about my package (which is wrong) Brian from corporate was extremely rude. All because I haven't been in maybe 1.5 years (but still had my package) and asked for clarification. He threw shade comments about how "old" the packages were and gaslighting me that the packages are the same when clearly they're not. He also told me "how can you remember the first one it was so long ago, I don't think you remember ". I am blown away. I bought one package and loved it so I bought the SAME package again. The attitude and shade I got made me incredibly frustrated. Although it's not anyone business, I explained for 1.5 years my mother's been in and out of being unresponsive with medical issues as to why I haven't been. I also explained I felt this call was so incredibly rude when all I asked was for a break down of the receipt which is clearly different. Needless to say keep track of everything yourself because Brian ISN'T NICE. This is also a pure example of you don't know when anybody is going through. Horrible place and unprofessional nurse. Had a treatment on 10/17/2025 The room was not clean and the service was unprofessional. I should believe those bad reviews. There must be a reason people left so many bad reviews. The nurse didn't care about how she did, just wanted to get it done and go home. The treatment is including face and neck but for the neck, she only did jaw area and also said she doesn't need to put marks on my neck before doing it. (Usually should mark the face and face before the treatment so that they know the spot.) So she only did jaw area, not whole neck and said I confirmed by verbal. She never formally asked me to confirm only do the jaw area. There was no formal records, no signature. She could say whatever she wants. When the manager asked her the situation, I heard she said " Jesus Christ." , then they closed the door to talk. How professional nurse in laseraway.. The whole neck area is one of the purpose I came here but she didn't do it. Really Waste my money, time and energy. I suggest you read all the negative reviews then decide to go to Laseraway. DO NOT WASTE your money or time here! Go to a reputable business that offer the same services, who cares about the results that are being provided. Do your research before giving away free money to Laseraway. This company provides horrible customer service and use faulty/broken equipment that WILL NOT provide results and will LIE for a favorable outcome. I purchased a CoolSculpting package to treat my chin and arm areas. I showed up at my first appt and it was a complete JOKE. The equipment used for the chin area was broken. The nurse (Alana) tried to get the machine to work for almost an hour. With no success, she apologized and finally moved onto the arm area using a different machine that is for the arms. I was there for 4+ hours. The location I visited in Raleigh, NC, (Breonna) along with my salesperson (Sarah) from NY had conflicting stories about the broken machine. It was obvious that they had not communicated with each other before speaking with me. However, facts are facts, the machine did not even turn on so that is hard to lie about. Alana confirmed to me that the machine was broken (by saying something was not hooked up to it correctly). I reached out to Sarah and requested to speak to a manager from Corporate. After much back and forth with a support clerk (Brian) who calls himself a manager, he and Sarah tried to coerce me into using the remaining applicators on a different area of my body. I said no thank you, I do not have other areas that I want to treat and requested a refund. Brian started to speak aggressively towards me and told me not to return to the practice once he understood that I was not going to be persuaded. He and I had multiple email exchanges (with Laseraway owners on copy) without a resolution. The owners never chimed in, so it makes me wonder how such business practice is going to produce results. Since I was ignored, I contacted my credit card provider and disputed a portion of the charge since I did not receive the full service and was told not to return to the location. Laseraway is providing false information about what I received from my package to avoid providing a full refund. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and a lawsuit (if necessary). This company is good for nothing if you are seeking proven results! Laseraway, shame on you, you do not win consumers business by getting over on people, do better! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY This was my first time going to Laser Away (19th street location) Scheduling process was easy. I called and scheduled right away. However no i striation were give n to me as to what is expected for the appointment. The front desk was friendly and welcoming unlike my technicians who didnt even introduce herself nor made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I was asked to wipe my own face off of the sunscreen, which is fine but i wasn't made aware that the hydro facial they offer isnt a regular treatment as other Spas would offer. She didnt cleans or prepare my skin for the facial and directly started going in with the machine which was very uncomfortable borderline painful. The following service was laser hair removal on my upper lip and chin. She stated that i didnt shave or dermaplened prior and i said that the other places ive gone to would either do it for me or hand me a dry raiser to do that to get better results. She told me they dont do that in their facilities . Which to me is very odd and hard to believe. After the procedure i had to apply sunscreen by myself. The technician walked out of the room without anything to say, but that i have to apply sunscreen and not workout for 24hrs. She didnt say bye or asked if i had questions or anything... just walked out. Then i asked the front desk if the results will be minimal because i didnt shave the aree and that this is my 1st time here and im not aware of how business is done - he rolled his eyes and said - we dont shave clients faces. I said that I understand that but my question is if the service will be as effective or not since the area wasnt freshly shaved . He repeated the same thing so i gave up asking further questions. I also work in the beauty industry and the level of customer service this place provided is absolutely ridiculous taking in consideration the amount of money they charge! Intro to services and simply giving ur name is the BARE MINIMUM that a place should offer , let alone a brief explanation of services so expectations are clear. Unfortunately i have a whole package of services and i will have to use eventually. Hoping i can chose a different location for that as i dont wish to return to their FlatIron location. read more

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting smile from the lovely Dimple. She welcomed me in and offered me a variety of healthy beverages while I waited for the nurse administering my treatment to walk up front and get me. This was my first time receiving laser treatment and was quite nervous, as I didn't know what to expect. Dimple was quite empathetic to my emotions and assured me that I was in good hands. She advised that the cooling technology used at LaserAway in conjunction with the laser would reduce the needle-like sensations one might feel while going through the process. No lies told! I honestly felt NOTHING! During my session, I was actually chatting it up with the nurse. Before I knew it, my treatment was over. Just-like-that! I got dressed and walked out to the waiting area to schedule my next appointment. I had to let Dimple know that she was right and I didn't feel anything! She was a little busy, as more clients came in. Can I tell you..... not that I was eves dropping or anything... but I was blown away and impressed by Dimple's interactions with other clients. Her professionalism....her knowledge of the various treatments offered by LaserAway...which treatments work best for one's skin type. A person is not even allowed to enjoy the treatment they came in for in the first place before tons of text messages are popping up on the phone of this and that invoice when you a person did not even request one "other package" deal. It's sick and disturbing. Although no worker was ever mean or rude at all, the constant broker-dealer bartering puts on a scrawly cringe. I wont go back... nope. It's not for me. That's not my plan: to BE FORCED to spend my hard working $$ according to their desire, and they act as it is mere "cents" being paid. As someone whose skin reacted poorly to both shaving and waxing for my entire life, I was SO excited for the opportunity for 'permanent' hair removal. I purchased a Brazilian and there was a promo to include under arms for no extra charge. Hands down the worst money I have ever spent. I saw absolute zero results and I was told countless times - oh the next session you'll start seeing results. At the end of my plan I went for review and they offered me two additional treatments since the results were clearly not satisfactory. A couple months passed and I was traveling, the holidays, etc and I reached back out. Apparently it is common to see normal hair growth if you don't have 3-4 maintenance treatments a year? This would have been nice to know from the beginning and once my plan ran out. But pointless as I never had results to begin with! I've been coming to LaserAway for over a year and for the most part I've been satisfied with the service. The front desk staff is always very friendly. However, there have been instances of booking an appointment and then closer to the date, a different time being communicated. Another client almost had a meltdown when this happened to her and she was left waiting for over an hour. I think there must be something happening / broken in the backend for booking that was causing these discrepancies and hopefully that's been resolved. There also is sort of a revolving door of aestheticians and not all of them have the same level of skill or care so you're really rolling the dice when it comes to consistent results. At the end of the day, LaserAway is a large company expanding aggressively nationally and therefore have to put in place processes and staffing to ensure things like accurate scheduling and a consistent high quality level of service. I went to 35 E 19th street about 2 years ago. The workers were very pleasant and made me feel very good about the service, which was the "THERMAGE". I only agreed to have this service because the person who was to do the procedure showed me her book and how fantastic her mom looked. Her mom looked like her sister. So I said sign me up. Put my deposit down and waited for the appointment. Now when they called me, I specifically asked would it be the person who I did the consultation with. I was told by "TASHI" who was very pleasant and very engaging, this would be the person. Once I arrived at the office I'm now being told she got a promotion and was no longer there. But assured me the person who was going to do the procedure was just as good. I had 2 services by 2 different people done 2 different ways and MY TURKEY NECK IS STILL A TURKEY NECK. I went back a 3rd time to speak with the people at the front desk and they were so sympathetic seeing that there was no change at all. These were completely different people. One person gave me the number to call to try and get my money back. I then saw the nurse, who was shocked. At this time I had waited almost 10 months. She took pictures, then she said something that completely floored me and I quote "Did anyone inform you, that you were not a good candidate". I said no! THIS PLACE IS FREAKING HORRIBLE! THE PERSON I CALLED FOR MY MONEY BACK, SAID THEY WERE ONLY ADDING COLLAGE. THATS NOT WHAT WAS TOLD TO ME. The nurse said that she would speak up for me if I want to take this further. I WAS LIED TO AND THEN WHEN I CALLED BACK TO SPEAK TO TASHI, NO.CALLS WERE RETURNED. She only returned calls for my payments. Remember everyone's skin is different, but If the nurse saw that I was not a good candidate, why wasn't I told this? THEY JUST TOOK THE MONEY. They offered me a facial....FREAKING NO! I love Laser Away and this location in particular. In general, they're reliable and clean and professional. Prices are competitive. I have done Botox, a bit of fillers, and IPL! This location is well run, and appointments are on time. I think all the technicians are skilled, I have not had a bad experience and I've seen about 4 diff people. My favorite injector is Florin - she's so good and gentle. I don't feel a thing. She's also very knowledgeable! So glad I found this place!!! Very happy with the results!
