As I said yesterday in my first review "The gel in my nails make me look like I have a fungus! The worst nails system that I ever had! That never happened in that place before." I made a call complaining about the awful work, and they offered a new appointment. I requested a different technician (Ava H.)due to her lack of focus. During my appointment, the technician, Ava H., was distracted, frequently using her phone, moving around, and conversing with colleagues, which made me feel neglected. She filed my nails carelessly, often without looking, and ignored my repeated concerns about the quality. Despite redoing three nails after I expressed dissatisfaction, the results remained poor. A new appointed was offered and scheduled. Today, I received a call from the nail salon, and I was shocked to learn that my follow-up appointment was canceled because the salon felt "offended" by my honest review. This response is unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect professional service and accountability, not dismissal of valid concerns. The worst. After making a point that I probably wouldn't want GelX because they fall off quickly if not done correctly, I was reassured that my nail tech was capable. One of my nails started coming off a week after I got them done and after two it was completely off. My nails were crooked and I let her know during the service. She said she would file them and they are obviously still cooked. She should have taken them off and redone them. There are several cooked nails. Not just one. It's so hard to find good nail techs . I had gel pedicure done by Carrisa. It was very disappointing job. The color went all over around nails and the top coat was finished uneven and looks like having waves on nails. I also asked if she could remove the excessive color on the toes and she said it would go away after showering. I was shocked and speechless. I called and was given Nikki to give me dip nails. Although they charge extra for a manicure to go with the dip, I love the nail shape, look and the work she did! She took such care of my hands I was relaxed the whole time and it was really fun being able to chat with her a little. The vibe in there is one of the more relaxing nail salons I've ever been to and everyone is sweet and lovely. I was first very excited to try this place but as soon as I got into my car I was disappointed am even more so today. I went in on Saturday around 3pm and they were able to take me in as a walk in. I asked for a gel manicure and David did my nails. As soon as I got to my car I noticed how bumpy and ugly my thumbs were. It was too late for me to go back in there and have them fix my nails because I had dinner plans and had to drive back home to make it on time (I live in Lancaster) and on my way to my car I also saw David leaving. My thumbs are thick and unevenly painted and now the thick parts are starting to crack and peel back. This has NEVER happened to me before. This is very annoying and the gel that is cracking is rubbing against everything and getting stuck on clothes and everything and is very annoying. I'm not sure how he was unable to see how bad my thumbs were and just left them like this. I'm very disappointed. What a waste of $38 for something that only lasted me less than 2 days (it is now Monday). read more

I used to really love this salon. This has taken me a full year to write this, but I feel that I need to share this to help others in case this happens to anyone else for safety reasons. I do apologize for the late update. Things have gone down hill since new owner took over. One thing I've noticed is everyone does nails differently here. The owner himself last worked on my nails and hurt me. Also during my appointment he constantly stopped working on me to answer the phone to schedule appointments etc. He doesn't follow safety regulations per California laws. He over drills the nail bed, uses dirty nail files that have been previously used on other customers. He messed up my natural nail beds and made my finger nails wide! I didn't even know that was possible. When he applied the acrylic on my nails he made them fat and wide. He didn't listen to me as to what I wanted. When I payed I made my follow up appointment and the next day I had to call him to tell him I wanted to cancel my appointment. I was done. He was concerned about how unhappy I was and was trying to be accommodating to me after expressing to him the amount of pain that I was in and how water was getting stuck in my nails when I would wash my hands and how they were already lifting. Although I appreciate that, and he tried to get me in to fix it, I was in fearful for my own health and safety to return again. After doing my own soak and carful removal of the acrylic from my nails, that is when I saw how damaged my natural nails were left. There was an infection already starting where my nail was lifting away from my skin. I treated my nail daily to keep it clean and from spreading worse. After watching many videos and doing my research on Californian laws I believe he needs to be investigated/evaluated by the state board to make sure he has proper licensing for working on nails because what he did to me is not ok at all! My trust in this nail salon is forever broken. My last pedicure here was done by a woman who also used previously used nail file and foot buffer on me! This made me so uncomfortable and I didn't want to make a scene. Confrontation makes me very uncomfortable, but I'm learning to speak up for myself now! This makes me very sad to write this because I really like everyone there. They are all very nice. But my health and safety comes first! I feel that others should read on California salon laws and educate themselves on proper cleanliness and techniques before letting nail salons work on you. I understand that Covid took a toll on salons, but it's never ok to cut corners and risk the lives of your customers. read more

Now (it's been like 3 years now... I think) that I've found my favorite nail tech Nikki I can't not have my nails done! I've done manís and pedis as well and they all do an excellent job. Avoid it like the plague! David is a particular type of Adam Henry. He ruined the entire shop. He's arrogant and demeaning to customers. My daughter was in and he was doing his thing when she asked him to take a corner off or something and he makes this monster deal and takes off his mask and gloves and betrayed her in front of the whole store. She tried to defuse it and he got back to work. Then, coincidentally I'm sure, he gouged her finger. She pulled back as a natural reaction to pain and he drops the mask and gloves again and starts in on her again. Such a lack of control and professionalism is ridiculous. He has cost the shop mine and my family's business. We will never return and neither should you. read more

This Salon they speak English, they talk to their customers and they make jokes. This Salon is very clean! After each person gets a pedicure they immediately clean the tubs and chair they were sitting in. They also clean the counters after they do your nails. They are very sanitary. I went to a Salon that the operator used his thumb to put fingernail polish on with to make the design. But The Nail Fix puts the polish onto a piece of aluminum foil to do your nails not their own fingers. This place is a dream & one I have been praying for. Ask for Ava because she's the best!!!
