Nurse Kalee and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable, making me feel comfortable every time. I had also tried various recommended skincare from Sephora and other beauty influencers on Instagram, but none of them seemed to work. On a whim, I asked my skincare-addict friend if she had any recommendations, and she said her friend had gone to this place in Fremont that does acne extractions that she spoke highly of. Before this, it hadn't even crossed my mind to see an aesthetician for my acne. Karen was my aesthetician, and she performed a manual acne extraction + other hydrating treatments afterwards. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the extraction HURTS! But it's only in the moment of the extraction, it doesn't keep hurting afterwards. Karen was as gentle as she could be, but also meticulous. I felt as if she was digging into every one of my pores (in a good way)! After years of struggling with acne, I decided to bite the bullet and just trust the process with Karen. Instead of other facial places, I don't have to pick and decide for myself which treatment I want -- Karen takes in the current state of my face with every visit and suggests the treatment that she thinks is the best. It took a little while to fully see the results, but it was so worth it! After a few months, I already started see a reduction in my normal acne. In around year or two, I not only barely had any acne, my skin was so much healthier, and I swear my pores seemed to have shrunk! This is no doubt a splurge on myself (I now routinely go in for monthly facials), but has honestly been so worth it. I do feel like Beauty Legend uses quality products & technologies, like nice Italian skincare & modern Korean technology/machines. First, this was my first time getting botox. She was friendly and thorough when she explained the procedure and what to expect not only when she gives the injection but also what to expect after such as when I would experience full effect and when I should contact her if I felt a little more touching up. Again this was my first time getting botox. She gave me her recommended units of botox based on her evaluation and what I told her I want and she was spot on. My botox results look great, no complications and no touch up needed. She also consulted me on the cool sculpting procedure and expected results. I was a bit nervous about whether I was a good candidate but she assured me I was. Background: I had recently lost about 20-25 pounds (165 to 140-145) & I was down pretty close to my goal weight but I thought I could probably work a bit harder. I also knew even when I was much younger and working out more frequently that I had this stubborn inner thigh fat and after two babies I also had that stubborn belly pad. I was unsure about the outer thigh and hip area. Together we decided to go with 3 areas of cool sculpting : 2 inner thighs and the lower abdomen. Again she was thorough in what to explain during & after the procedure and what to expect after & when to expect full results. She was comfortable and skilled performing the procedure. It's a little awkward as she needs to connect a big suction with hose which wraps onto your inner thighs and lower abdomen but she made me very comfortable and the procedure went as perfectly as could be expected. I am about halfway through the total time it may be expected to see total results and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with my results so far. I will definitely be back to see nurse Amber for my next botox injections and if I decide on any other beautifying procedures. STAY AWAY PEOPLE, STAY FAR AWAY…read more I've written a detailed description of my encounter below but if you don't feel like reading, know that this Doctor has another yelp location that has been reported closed in which the reviews speak for themselves. When your appointment is at 11:45 and it's 12:30 and no one has said anything or come to check on you....... I came in for iv hydration to help nip this cold I have in the bud. This place had good reviews, was open and able to fit me in on short notice. Service from the front office staff was subpar. If the treatment is going to start late or the doctor is delayed, you need to communicate that with the patient, not just keep them waiting while you whisper outside to try and figure things out. Seriously biggest pet peeve ever! But that's not all. Tech inserts iv, all is well until she tapes it down and turns to accidentally yank out my iv!! Oh not to mention she blames ME for moving when she was the one who turned and pulled it out. Are you f'in kidding?! 2nd try, no good. 3rd try, Dr. FINALLY comes in, wiggles the needle around - OUCH!!! Dr. Yanks it out. They talk about my veins and how small they are bc I'm dehydrated. Try's another vein, nope. Moves to other arm, and tries another vein. nope. All the while the tech keeps saying how she had the first vein and I moved and it came out. NO, you turned and pulled it out. B*TCH. Dr. Moves back to other arm, obviously flustered she doesn't take note of the anxiety attack I'm having from being poked (couldn't breathe, pale, lips loosing color), and sticks me and says it's good to go. I tell them it hurts a bit and she says it's fine, so they leave me. 10 minutes in, I look down at my arm to find a SWOLLEN arm, that hurts to touch. I call them in and they frantically turn the nob to stop. They tell me my vein probably ripped and the fluid got in my bloodstream. Didn't take blame that I told them it was hurting and that maybe it was their fault in the first place for sticking it in the wrong place. They refunded my money, and I left still sick and with a swollen hurting arm. Stay far away!!!
