I have been going to Dermaluxe Spa for several years now for several services, and three weeks ago I got another lash lift right before a vacation. Lash extensions never looked right on me- lash lifts are the way to go! You can't see my lashes without a lash lift- they are light and point straight down normally. I have to use an eyelash curler if I don't get a lash lift, but it never lasts by the end of the day and I end up looking tired with no lashes visible. Here are some pictures showing my 3-week old lash lift - my everyday look with eyeshadow only, (no mascara) and after a very light swipe of brown mascara. I love how fast and easy it is to get ready in the morning without spending a lot of time curling my lashes, adding mascara and doing my brows. Kashia also did my eyebrow microblading (she corrected the previous work done by another person who had turned my brows pinkish). I have light brows which are harder to do right than dark brows, so I had done my research before coming here. I'm super happy with how they turned out- I add a bit of brow pomade sometimes and good to go! I've also gotten chemical peels and facials here, and the occasional botox - Rosie is fantastic at using a minimal amount to achieve the natural look I'm always going for. I haven't gotten it done in 6 months and I feel like it still looks good. I recommend this spa to my friends and anyone who asks, and I receive a lot of compliments. I never look overdone, just natural - and I'll add that I'm 50 so I love that I can come to this special spot and count on leaving refreshed and looking naturally rejuvenated - it's all me, just better! read more

Made an appointment for consultation for eyebrow touch up & received a text couple hours before appointment from owner that she wasn't feeling well & needed to reschedule, confirmed new appointment for 11/01/25 Red Flag #1 owner tell me she's surprised I came even though I have confirmation text of new appointment date & time Red Flag #2 she states she needed to laser remove previous work because of all these excuses she didn't know what ink, or how many artist did work, etc. If you don't know how to do work over previous artists just say you dont do work over previous artists instead of requesting removal costing $1,000 Red Flag #3 Assistant gave me the incorrect paperwork to fill out which requested alot of sensitive data such as Name, address, phone #, email, age , license # medical history, ect. When the owner told me she did not need the paperwork I took it back, because after all the other Red flags I figured she wasn't going to dispose of my information properly. I am very disappointed with my laser treatment today. I paid $250, but the session was extremely rushed and only about 3 minutes. The area under my eyebrows was not treated, and several areas still look the same color. The laser was not applied to some areas. I was also told there was no time for numbing because another customer was scheduled after me. I do not feel I received the service I paid for. I would appreciate either a correction at no additional charge with proper time and care, or a refund. This is one of the worst customer service. This is the most expensive laser therapy I ever had. 250$ for 3 minutes . There are areas that it's very obvious that not treated. This is a very bad business. This is a scam. There are areas that still gray and has not touched w Laser. The area that treated turned red. Big Red flag# big scam# you said that this is quick and you can tolerate the treatment. I'm in the process of having old microblading removed and new microblading redone. After reading all the glowing reviews for Dermaluxe Spa, I decided to give it a shot. I strongly urge you to read the negative reviews too--because unfortunately, they reflect my experience. During a very rushed (and free) consultation, the owner did a single test spot on my brow--about the size of a pencil eraser. Per her own admission, I have both red and blue pigment in my brows from multiple old sessions. I pointed out an area with more red and politely asked if she could do a second test spot there, since I was concerned about how that color would lift. Instead of responding professionally, she immediately became aggressive and rude. Per her Google response, she drew a "professional boundary" at removing "half my brow".... I literally only asked for a second test spot and I clearly explained to her my rational behind the request (to see how the redder area would lift). I was treated with so much hostility for no reason, and it honestly ruined my whole day. I'm looking to invest a significant amount of money into fixing my brows and just wanted to make an informed decision. Instead, I was made to feel like a grifter. The owner has already responded rudely to me on Google, so I fully expect she'll do the same here. I don't know why she treats some clients with respect and others with contempt, but it's not worth the risk and completely unprofessional. RESPONSE TO OWNER: You never mentioned an issue with the aesthetic of my brow for why you would not do the test spot, you very crassly said you wouldn't do it unless I paid you to remove the brow and acted as if that was not the intent of my entire visit. This was not an aesthetic or safety concern, you literally treated me like I wasn't going to pay for your services. Which again, was completely bizarre as I came to your office fully anticipating paying $1000+ for at least 3 brow removals and to get microblading redone. While you might claim to be easy going and funny, that's is not the behavior you displayed towards me and the multiple other negative reviews coincidentally all say the same. ***The $1000+ estimate appears to trigger the owner, to be clear this was my own calculation, but based on her listed brow removal price of $250 per session. During our very brief consultation, I mentioned several times my intent was to remove the brows and get them redone. The eyebrow lady said my skin was too bad for microblading without any testing or advice on what to do. She just took a look at me under a light and said I had a bad canvas. And on top of all that, she was rude and made me feel bad when I was already vulnerable going to her with almost no eyebrows. Being honest is fine when not coming from a mean mouth. Tbh it just felt like she didn't want to do microblading on me because I didn't have a lot of hair, due to my alopecia. I'm happy to report that I went to someone else for a second opinion, who did a patch test behind my ear and waited to see it healed before jumping to any conclusions. Omg awesome! I highly recommend getting your brows done here. I have naturally blonde eyebrows, so I've been drawing them on since I 'discovered' eyebrow pencils in 2009. Kashia is a no-nonsense kind of woman and will give it to you like it is. She's a perfectionist and the first time I went, she spent a decent amount of time getting the lines even before starting with the permanent business. Due to scaring I have from childhood in my brows, she steered me to the right kind of brow for me and my skin. She can be a bit gruff, but she does such a great job I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else. She has a great sense of humor and is fun to talk to while she's working. As for getting your brows done, prepare for it mentally. It will hurt. I like to think I'm tough and can take it, but I felt like a puny baby trying not to cry. I was scheduled for a consultation today at Dermaluxe Spa. I arrived a few minutes late for the consultation due to heavy traffic. In addition to that, the parking garage for the building is very inconvenient. I walked into the Spa and was poorly greeted by the owner Kashia. I introduced myself and the first thing she said to me was that I was "YOU'RE LATE" . I was totally taken aback by her rude, chastising tone of voice. My response was "yes I know I'm late". Kashia proceeded to tell me that she has other clients now. I told her that was OK if she couldn't see me....and I proceeded to walk out of the office. I definitely don't want to deal with her rudeness and her inability to be sympathetic about my being a few minutes late. This is not the way I want to start a relationship with a Spa. In addition to this incident....when I received the text message from her service about my appointment today....just clicking on it confirms the appointment. If I wanted to reschedule or cancel the appointment....the text did not allow me to do so. Once it confirms your appointment....she is allowed to charge a $50 fee if I do not show up. She has extremely strict rules about cancellations and clients being late. Its a blessing that I did not start any procedures with her. She was not a nice person. I was looking for a place to have my regular eyelash lift done and chose this one to try. The price $75 is one of the lower ones, but that's where the positives end. I booked online, then was called by Dermaluxe and told that I shouldn't have been able to book that time because it's not available. That was no problem at the time and I rescheduled over the phone. But I believe this speaks to inconsistencies and issues that they have with their service. When arriving at the business, be aware that it is not its own stand-alone building and is part of an office building. There is no sign outside to guide you. Neither are you told via email or via phone any of this. This is also not on the website as far as I can tell. If you go to the entrance to the building, it will be locked. There will be a list of buzzers, one of which lists Dermaluxe Spa. If you press this, they'll buzz you in. Once you get in, there is a sign on the first floor that states Dermaluxe Spa is in suite 250. This is false, it is in suite 270. The building is mostly empty and therefore the hallways are dark and it seems as though no one is there. Don't worry, once you make it to suite 270 it will seem much more like an actual business. I was worried on my walk through the building that it was a scam since there was so little correct signage or direction. There is a small waiting area that's nicely decorated. The office itself is a small area with 2 rooms, one seems to be manned by Kashia, the other by Melissa. Melissa performs the eyelash lifts which I was there for. Melissa began my appointment by trying to sell me a different product of hers - basically by criticizing my skin. She repeatedly touched areas on my face, pointed out things that were wrong with it, and told me that the resolution would be buying a facial from her. I don't know if this is a tactic that works for her sometimes, but to me it just seemed like trying to lower someone's self esteem in order to get money from them. She mentioned my need for a facial several times throughout the visit, even ending the visit by mentioning it. Melissa also had difficulty with my lash lift. She mentioned this several times throughout the appointment, how difficult my lashes were. I had never heard this before when having my lashes lifted. The lashes on the right were kinked to the side in multiple places when I checked when she completed the perm. When done with the appointment, I was brought into the adjacent room, Kashia's room, to pay. Kashia accosted me very rapidly with more products I should buy and things I should do to improve my appearance - apparently this is a tactic between the two, to continuously try to sell you things by pointing out ways in which you are inadequate. All in all I just felt very uncomfortable the entire time because of the comments the two staff made while I was there. I will not be going back again despite the low price. read more

I got powder brows, and they look REALLY good. Kashia is a perfectionist and kept going until they were perfectly even. I have done previous micro blading and have a lot of scar tissue, and my skin doesn't hold color well. It's like alligator skin, to be perfectly honest. She was really patient and kept at them until they were perfect. I don't live in Houston anymore but I'm here frequently for work, so I'll be back to her for a touch up. She opened the blade package in front of me to show me the needle was new and sterile. As a health care provider, I am very STRICT when it comes to performing any procedure whether it is a noninvasive or invasive.I am very pleased about what she did. She is such a perfectionist. I sincerely hope that whenever someone wants to book an appointment that they take my review into serious consideration first. I have never, ever been treated so poorly by a complete stranger or business owner. I booked the appointment on Vagaro app in August and put down $50 deposit. The agreement said to confirm the appointment 48 hours in advance so I called 2 days ago and left a voicemail to confirm and Keshia called me back and responded that we were confirmed. So today, I see a text that my appointment was canceled. It was sent at 10am and I had a missed called from her at 9:30am. I immediately called and left a voicemail for someone to call me back for explanation. She called back around 12:30 and explained that I had not answered her call or responded to the confirmation text that she sent this morning at 9:20am so I violated the agreement and she gave the appointment to someone else. I was shocked and said but wait, you didn't even give me adequate time to respond, I've been at work and your telling me that because I didn't answer the phone that my appointment canceled? On top of that, I called you two days ago and you did confirm me. She interrupted a few times and I said wait, please don't interrupt me because I'm trying to respond to your claim and then she said okay, you don't need to freak out... um, ma'am, I am not freaking out at all. Just because I'm responding to you does not mean I'm "freaking out." So everything went downhill from there. At that point I said okay, this is not appropriate, I don't like the way I'm being treated and I'd like to speak to a manager. She said, well she isn't available right now and I asked what her name and number is and she then told me to call back in 10 minutes and I responded okay but every time I have called in the past I don't get a call back for at least 8hours. She then says, you know what, I am the owner, this is Keisha and I don't want to do business with people like you. I laughed and said okay, so you just lied to me? What about when I called two days ago and you confirmed my appointment, and she said well lots of people call and you signed an agreement that you'd respond to the confirmation email and text within 48hours or it would be canceled. You're obviously having a bad day and I'm going to hang up on you. I was so upset and I said, well yeah, now I am having a bad day! I've never been treated so poorly and you've lied to me and insulted me! She hung up. 2 minutes later she called me back to yell at me and all I said is why are you calling me? What could you possibly need to call me back for after what you just did. You should be ashamed and embarrassed. She was yelling at me about god knows what so I just hung up. I am in such shock. How she could sit there and argue with me given the fact that we spoke over the phone for confirmation, and she sent the text this morning for confirmation and I responded within 2 hours, I can't understand. I have to say that I wouldn't have been upset by someone that behaved that way if I hadn't really been looking forward to this since August, so much so that I set an alarm on my phone to call to confirm this appointment because I've been wanting to do this for years and it was a gift to myself for working my a off the past year. so not only was it a big disappointment to lose the appointment but then to be blamed and ridiculed... Make it make sense. Please. If you do choose to book the appointment, don't be surprised when she does this to you too. UPDATE: Just a quick response to the owner who posted a reply on my review: WOW! Look, you are entitled to run your business however you choose, even if it is unfair to customers or unethical. That's your business but you absolutely crossed the line this morning in how you aggressively spoke to me, lied to me and hung up on me then called me back yelling at the top of your lungs. Now you're making the accusation that I am calling you names and sending you messages. Leave me alone! You are a bully and I literally can't believe you are doing this to customers and it is NOT okay. I blocked your number as soon as I hung up on you when you called me yelling. I did alot of research prior to choosing the location to get my microblading done. I am so happy that my final decision was with Dermaluxe Spa. K is so easy to work with. I had trouble with some acne around my brow and she gave me a through explanation on why we would have to move my appointment. She gladly rescheduled it for me to give my face time to heal. The day of my appointment both her and I were early and she kindly took me in. She listen to what I was looking for. She stenciled out my brows a few times to make sure they were perfect for my face. I let her choose the coloring, and it was right on for my complexion and hair color. During the procedure she made me feel at ease, and made sure the process wasn't painful. Once she was down, I was honestly speechless at the results. I have always had light non-existent eyebrows, and would pencil them daily. Since this day, I have not had to wear a touch of make up, and my confidence is here to stay. I can not Thank Keisha enough for the wonderful process and outcome. I so so wanted to be another five star review on here. I researched endlessly, looked at countless pictures, and finally settled on Kashia after reading reviews of her professionalism and skills. I don't know what happened, but the woman I met today was a completely different person than the one described in the reviews. It started off okay - I went with Kashia into her room and told her what I wanted (microblading to cover up my lack of eyebrows from trichotillomania). She explained that she did not recommend that and gave me several reasons that sounded reasonable. I thanked her - it was disappointing, but I understood. I was ready to call it a loss and leave. Then she recommended a different type of tattooing - a powder brow. I told her I was unsure about that one because I had no knowledge of it and she told me that she was "not sure, maybe microblading could work" and that she would draw on some eyebrows first to see. Kashia took time drawing on eyebrows then let me have a look. When I told her they looked good she asked me if I was ready to start. I asked what we were starting and she told me the powder brow. I was confused at this point because I still had no idea what that was, how it was different, etc. I asked. Kashia gave an extremely annoyed and short reply that it was tattooing, just like microblading. I asked a couple more questions - does it have lines or indentations like microblading, does it look shiny when your skin is oily, do you happen to have a picture of it? Kashia got more and more sharp and rude the more questions I asked. I was startled by the impatience - this was a new and permanent makeup tattoo that was going to be on my face. I just wanted to know the differences and possible ramifications of it before jumping straight in. When I asked my final question, Kashia answered that she was "not going to keep explaining this to you over and over again if you don't get it because it is wasting my time. You have clearly made up your mind that you are not going to get this done. I can't waste time explaining this to you when I have other customers later." I am not a confrontational person. I was so shocked that I am embarrassed to say I started crying. I went to the bathroom quickly to try to cover up the evidence and just wanted to get the hell out of there. When I came out, Kashia charged me $50 for her time. This review is not for Kashia's skills, but for how she made me feel as a customer. I will not send my friends, family, or coworkers here and do not recommend it for you if you feel at all unsure and have questions. My recommendation based on this experience is to go to someone that has patience and will take the time to make you feel comfortable and knowledgeable about your decision before insisting on a permanent change. read more

Kashia Buks is an amazing technician. I love my eyebrows and would not go anywhere else!! This was my first time having my eyebrows micro-bladed, and I have now returned for a touch up. The intial process took 1-2 hours while the touch up was only 40 minutes. The first few strokes do sting but the numbing gel helps a bunch. Overall, I'm very happy with my services done here! I came in originally for an eyelash lift and tint, but left with that AND eyebrow microblading! The eyelash lift itself turned out wonderful, but as for the tint, I wish it had been darker, as I didn't really notice a huge difference in color. Lastly, the curling effect is still there after 2-3 weeks, but I've noticed that my eyelashes are falling out more than normal, especially on my right eye. I'm thinking it could be a combination of the perm lift and that my right eye lashes have been acting funky even before going in for this appointment. Anyway, I'm not sure an eyelash lift/tint is worth the $95. Glad I tried it, but I won't be doing it again! Now for the microblading, I'm really glad she helped me and talked me through the process. I was scared because I had never done anything like this before and she was super cool about it. She drew the design on and we decided on a color together. It didn't hurt too bad and it turned out very natural and nice for the first time. As for 2-3 week after, I have noticed quite a bit of fading, that maybe when I go in for a touch up, I'll get more filled in and maybe with a darker color. The appointment was super easy to make and Kashia gave my boyfriend and I great facials! I feel like she really took the time to get the gunk out of pores and I left feeling like a new person. The facial was super relaxing and consisted of the collagen infused diamond microdermabrasion treatment with a sheet mask after the microdermabrasion.
