I was prescribed MRSA pills and cream, the rash is gone and my skin is 10 years younger and not gross and itchy from ivermectin - I had staph. Doctor failed to recognize staph.

Again, if the fee could be applied to the bill, I get it, but the fact that it is a nonrefundable fee that is never applied to any amount that you owe, makes no sense. They canceled my appointment an hour before I was due in the office because I wouldn't pay the fee. They allowed me to schedule the appointment even though I refuse to pay the fee, but didn't honor it on the day I was going in. It shows that the fee had nothing to do with a no-show concern since I was on my way. It made no sense. I definitely will not be doing business again with Westport dermatology.

I finally got through to Dr. Grace Bandow, she kindly answered my questions and concerns regarding the medication change, but did not seem to care that her staff treated me poorly. I informed her that I was going to look for a new provider based on the care that I received and she seemed very indifferent and offered no apology. So if you would like to be treated like a number if you would like to be treated like a piece of dirt, then this is the dermatologist office for you. I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness and am beyond grateful that I finally got real direction from Dr Godwin so I wasn't wasting anymore time. The Drs I saw prior to Dr Godwin unethically just prescribed various antibiotics which were pointless as they did no testing of any kind to see exactly what type of treatmebt I needed. Although I'm still struggling to find the best medical treatment for my illness, I am grateful Dr Godwin was able to get me headed in the right direction. I would highly recommend this practice as the staff ( Jean esp) has been so supportive and accommodating as I've battled this disease. I've suffered chronically for several years to the point I started to doubt myself. I got to a point that I started to question if my symptoms were all in my head. I can honestly say that I would trust Dr.Godwin's professional opinion or treatment with my children.
