I had surgery with Dr, Levin on Sept 9th 2024. Prior to the surgery I had a consult where I…read morementioned I had dry eyes from Lasik and was concerned If this surgery would make it worse. Dr Levin told me this surgery would not worsen my dry eye as it is not a common side effect of a lower bleph. She did not examine the insides of eyes at all. I had another visit right before the surgery and mentioned the dry eye again she told me It would not worsen from the surgery. The morning of the surgery I said to Dr, Levin please be careful of my glands... Dr Levin replied and what glands? this should have been a red flag for me. Since the surgery, my dry eye is so severe that I am now homebound leave the house and cannot take care of my kids. My glands have completely shut down. I also don't make many tears so I absolutely nothing coating my eyes when I blink. Every blink feels like sand paper and glue. I feel a constant rubbing in my right eye when I blink. I'm told it's scar tissue. I have had 10 IPL's, punctal cautery surgery four times and probing. I've spent over 15k on treatments since this surgery to improve the dry eye. I sleep with plastic wrap over my face and an eye mask. My eyes still dry out and need drops all through the night. I have tried every eye drop available, but nothing has worked. My doctors tell me this is a result of the surgery and it's very common. Dr Levin said none of this is from her surgery and she is not a dry eye doctor. I have been left to figure this out myself. This surgery has destroyed my life. My under eyes look awful as well like nothing was done or worse. I have to wear moisture chamber glasses 24/7. Every doctor that seems me can't believe I had a lower blepharoplasty because of how awful it looks. I am writing this to warn others and hopefully prevent someone else from suffering the way I have. Please don't ever have this surgery If you have dry eyes and or go to a doctor who will examine the health of your eyes. I'm a mom of 5 boys who are my world. I regret ever having this surgery has it's destroyed all our lives. I don't believe this will ever improve unfortunately as I've exhausted all the treatments available in the US and I'm almost a year post op. Thank You, Dawn Baldi

During a hydro facial the esthetician suggested that my diamond earring were fake?? And had Botox with the doctor and she became very defensive and accusatory when I went back asking for a bit more on one side to correct a spock brow she had caused. I had been getting Botox for years at that point and most injectors want you to come back and see if they need to make little tweaks. Not her. She acted like I had no idea what I was talking about and that I was insulting her skills. Just ridiculous mean girl behavior from the whole staff. In an area teaming with plastic surgeons you can definitely do better than this practice.

These women were absolutely wonderful -- patient, informative, and compassionate. They made a very personal and sensitive experience feel safe and supported, and I'm truly grateful for their care. Today marked my 3-month post-op appointment. I expressed a concern about lingering swelling to the nurse, who kindly suggested I bring it up directly with Dr. Mahony. This was actually my first time seeing Dr. Mahony since the surgery. When I mentioned that my results appeared more swollen than my pre-op photos, I was simply looking for reassurance or insight on healing progress. However, her response -- "Well, I have pictures too, and it looks the same" -- came off extremely rude and dismissive. I was shocked by her tone and overall demeanor. For the remainder of the appointment, she continued to be snippy and condescending, making me feel as though my concerns were invalid or that I was wasting her time. As a patient who paid over $4,000 for this very personal procedure, I expected at least a baseline level of empathy and professionalism. I left feeling uncomfortable and belittled, which is not how any patient should feel, especially in such a vulnerable context. While I would never return or recommend Dr. Mahony for procedures after this experience, I want to highlight that her PAs and support staff were incredible. They're the reason I felt safe leading up to and after surgery. If I could go back in time, I would have chosen a different doctor.

It was my third breast surgery at that time, intended to correct a botched job by a plastic surgeon in my home country. Since then, Dr. Kirwan has been my go-to plastic surgeon for everything that requires special attention and expertise. Every surgery we've done together has benefited from his incredible skill, and the results are always beyond spectacular! The results of Dr. Kirwan's work feel like a miracle. Words can't fully capture how meticulous and perfectionistic he is in his craft. He's not just a plastic surgeon; he's an artist. His love for symmetry and refined aesthetic sense shines through in everything he does. Dr. Kirwan also has a fantastic team that enhances the quality of his work. His right-hand, Lia, is one of the most capable and kindest people you'll ever meet. It took numerous attempts to get an appt booked. I only persisted at that point because I had gift certificates. By the way....this facility added sales tax to the certificates. For those of you who aren't aware, according to the CT State Dept of Revenue services, gift certificates are not subject to sales tax. Once we arrived at the appt, the receptionist did not properly schedule the service my daughter was looking for so there was no time after a one hour drive! When checking out, I paid with my credit card for me and my daughter. Neither, me, my Mom or my daughter were given a receipt. When we got home that day, we all contacted the receptionist and asked for our receipts. The receptionist then told me my credit card charge didn't go through (even though it did). I had evidence of this on my credit card statement. She said she would have to speak to Craig, the doctors husband who doubles as office manager. Craig contacted me the following week wanting my credit card number again! I declined and sent him the screen shot that my card was charged. About a week after receiving Botox, it set in with horrible results. My face was crooked. I sent Craig a picture. He said he would show it to Dr. Brownell and she would call me immediately. She never did. He also said he would email me a gift certificate as an apology. He never did. I have the text streams of these conversations with him as proof. After not hearing from Dr. Brownell regarding the terrible results, I decided to file a dispute. I needed to go to another practitioner to fix what she did. This facility has responded to the dispute with a pack of lies. Here they are: 1) They are saying I was rude and aggressive to the receptionist. Not true. I was more than patient given the receptionist was not competent in any of her interactions with me. 2) They are saying Dr. Brownell called me 2 times to discuss the bad results. Not true. 3) They are saying I blocked their number. Again, not true. 4) They sent a picture to the credit card company of my forehead without squinting indicating that the treatment was successful. This is misleading as Botox can take at least a week to kick in. 5) They have the audacity to accuse me of "Theft of Medical Services" which is a "larceny". Shame on Dr. Brownell or perhaps it was her narcissistic husband for stooping this low. I was unhappy with results and she never called to discuss so after a couple of weeks of waiting I filed a dispute. That makes me a thief? How unprofessional! The above-mentioned visit I've described was a comedy of errors from beginning to end. For the high prices they charge, clients should certainly be able to expect to have a pleasurable experience. If I could give less than one star, I would.
