I recently made a cross-country trip and while traveling in Missouri, I had an incident with a deer…read morethat ran off after being hit. There was no blood and the car appeared to be fine, so I continued on only to discover the AC was no longer working. I still had about a four hour drive to my destination in Iowa, so I stopped at an Auto Zone and was able to confirm the fans were working and I was okay to drive without fear of the engine overheating. I just would not have any air conditioning. The weather was stifling and after Iowa I would be headed south. I arrived in Iowa on Sunday evening and stopped at Xpert Automotive on Monday morning to see about a repair. They confirmed the condenser was damaged and were apologetic that they would not be able to make the repair during my stay. There was an attempt to see about other shop options and when it was obvious there were none, they had a consult. After a brief period of time I was told they would be able to obtain the part later that day (Monday) and would work on the car after hours so I would be able to have it back on Tuesday WITH AC. I was so very grateful for their kindness! I was able to still make most of the visits I had planned on Monday before having to drop off the car and was also able to continue my visits on Tuesday after getting the car back. They dropped me off and picked me up at the hotel where I was staying as well. I know it was a sacrifice for them and feel they truly went above and beyond in their care of me and my vehicle in the situation I found myself in at the time. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!! Now that I am finally home after a month on the road, I can see the incredible blessing of the kindness of these people who were strangers and I can now call friends!

We were directed to Griffin's and what a blessing that was! We had 11 people and 5 dogs but the husband and wife team at Griffin's welcomed us all into their waiting area. They quickly diagnosed what the issue was and got the part ordered. Because it was not a planned stop we had no where to stay. They made some calls and got us into a hotel that was under a block from their shop. Our van was fixed the next day and we were on our way again. My jeep that I was ready to set out behind the barn, is now running better than the day I bought it. The bill to fix this computer monstrosity was very reasonable. All my vehicles will go to Humburd's and nowhere else now. BTW this business has my old Ford Ranger running tip top. It has 200,000 plus miles on it.
