I give 4 stars because the first appointment I thought I had found someone who was willing to help…read moreme out.. the PA Kimberly Amato is very attentive and helpful. I have suspected Ehlers donlos for the last year and she was able to see it right away after explaining to her my issues I was having with my body and my nerves. I also have seizures but no one can seem to figure out why. She put me thru the Beighton scale and I scored a 9/9 and she had the office put in a referral for me to see a geneticist and I cried because this is the first time I've had someone in the health care field know about EDS and I finally had someone in my corner to help me out. I came back to get a nerve study, the dr was very nice but when I asked him about my EDS he said you don't have hyper joints without even having me do anything. I had to show him my pinky, which has to be at a 90 degree angle and how my thumb lays on my wrist.. he just said ohhhhh, you might have it. He didn't seem to have any knowledge in EDS which is fine... I am just upset that if I do need help with this referral I hope they still help me. If anyone reads this and has EDS please send me a message. If Kimberly Amato sees this thank you, please message me if I can follow you I will. God bless!

Dr. Ali has no availability until the end of August. It was suggested to me (by the appointment center) to try calling on Mondays and Wednesday to see if there is a cancellation (Dr. Ali only is only available on Tuesday and Thursday). I spoke with a person who makes the appointments today and she stated that there is a cancellation but only for a new patient not an exiting patient. UNBELEIABLE!!!

To begin, I would like to clarify that this rating does not apply to everyone in the office…read more However, it does specifically pertain to Dr. Zhang and her receptionist(s). On August 20th, we attended our scheduled appointment. During this visit, we emphasized to both the neurologist and her receptionists the critical importance of having certain medical documents signed and promptly sent to the DMV, as the matter was extremely time-sensitive. As of today, September 26, 2024, at 1:30 PM, the issue has finally been resolved. However, it took a total of one month and six days for the office to complete the medical clearance for my wife and submit the required documents to the DMV. Throughout this process, we were told on four separate occasions that the documents had been faxed to two different numbers, and twice that they were sent via email. Unfortunately, none of these attempts were successful. Ultimately, it took a formal complaint to upper management and an email sent from my own account to finally get the documents delivered. Additionally, my wife had to physically visit the office in person to request the documents herself before returning home, where I had to step in and send them via email. Q

On today, April 28, 2026, I took my mother to the Neurology Group to obtain a copy of her medical…read morerecords and specifically an MRA and MRI conducted at the behest of a doctor with the Neurology Group. Office personnel, Brittany, refused to provide this information, indicating that the information would be shared with my mother in June 2026. This is a violation of HIPAA, the conduct required for doctors pursuant to the CA Medical Board and her rights as a patient. Despite explaining to Brittany that this information was needed so that it could be shared with my mother's other treating doctors, Brittany refused. The medical doctors with this group (Faisal, Zhang, others) seem to be billing the insurance company without providing patients with necessary test results so that patients can advocate for themselves and their medical needs. Waiting until June to receive test results done in April could be too late and could result in an unnecessary delay in medical treatment. I am going to have to file a complaint with the CA medical board against the medical group and I'd advise any person considering using this group's doctors for medical care to think twice because they are effectively delaying my mother learning about an acute diagnosis (acute frequent strokes) which could result in a negative outcome. I will be finding another neurologist for my mother ASAP. STAY FAR AWAY FROM Dr. Bhupat Desai (agent for service of process), Dr. Qazi Faisal (president of the Neurology Group), and the Neurology Group's doctors.

Called in and asked to schedule my appointment, they said they needed my referral. Sent the referral and called again only to get asked for an approval which they also should have already had. Called my GP and had them send in the approval to call back again and be hung up on, call again and am told they're experiencing technical issues and to call back 30 minutes later. Called again 45 minutes later and was HUNG UP ON AGAIN. They messaged me and told me to call them again there was an issue with the line and made me wait on hold for another 10 minutes. I have now in the last 72 hours spent 3+ hours on hold and gotten no where. Would give 0 stars if I could.
