On today, April 28, 2026, I took my mother to the Neurology Group to obtain a copy of her medical records and specifically an MRA and MRI conducted at the behest of a doctor with the Neurology Group. Office personnel, Brittany, refused to provide this information, indicating that the information would be shared with my mother in June 2026. This is a violation of HIPAA, the conduct required for doctors pursuant to the CA Medical Board and her rights as a patient. Despite explaining to Brittany that this information was needed so that it could be shared with my mother's other treating doctors, Brittany refused. The medical doctors with this group (Faisal, Zhang, others) seem to be billing the insurance company without providing patients with necessary test results so that patients can advocate for themselves and their medical needs. Waiting until June to receive test results done in April could be too late and could result in an unnecessary delay in medical treatment. I am going to have to file a complaint with the CA medical board against the medical group and I'd advise any person considering using this group's doctors for medical care to think twice because they are effectively delaying my mother learning about an acute diagnosis (acute frequent strokes) which could result in a negative outcome. I will be finding another neurologist for my mother ASAP. This is the most miserable office I have even been referred to. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. I was referred over a month ago? Called in and asked to schedule my appointment, they said they needed my referral. Sent the referral and called again only to get asked for an approval which they also should have already had. Called my GP and had them send in the approval to call back again and be hung up on, call again and am told they're experiencing technical issues and to call back 30 minutes later. Called again 45 minutes later and was HUNG UP ON AGAIN. They messaged me and told me to call them again there was an issue with the line and made me wait on hold for another 10 minutes. I have now in the last 72 hours spent 3+ hours on hold and gotten no where. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

When I said I wasn't interested in medication she fired me and said to see my PCP for my headaches and aphasia. I'm deeply concerned about my IPA referrals to an extremely disorganized and dysfunctional medical office. Today, The Neurology Group threatened to cancel my upcoming appointment because they couldn't locate my authorization--despite it being faxed eight days ago. After multiple conversations, I was told I had until 4 PM to provide it, or my much-needed appointment would be canceled. Under pressure, I left work to resolve the issue, only to receive a call an hour later saying they had found the authorization. This mistake cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress. A medical office that misplaces authorizations and threatens to cancel appointments due to their own errors is completely mismanaged. I will never use or recommend this office--RUN! read more

4 different dctors under same umbrella , company . Multipal Testing ie, 2 Special MRIs and another ordered however never fulfilled. Over period 2 years + ALSO Doppler test said it was fine . However, I explained the test said AT PVH found 60% closed. Allegra, pa. said she would check on this and get back, and never did. I called CEO of company . She got mad at me said if I did that again she would not treat me anymore her office. She said all my test were good. I have loss of memory, shaking , involuntary jerks and headaches. *(Much more) this has been going on for over 2 years. I went 3 different offices and now they call me for another OV (4) th. Office Visit. Ins pays.. A different office to come in this friday. I have 2 disk of 2 different MRI [ long space in between] that was never followed up for me. Was irritated and combative because her office did not provide her with the CTscan. Asked me to go through everything I do. She asks me again for the same info. The receptionist guy that takes the phone calls should be fired immediately he does not speak proper English he makes you spell the first and last name not once not twice but three times he said he's bad at spelling names, he's even bad at getting your address very slow keeps you on hold for a long time. Ask you to wait one minute on hold but then puts you on hold for another additional 10 to 15 to 20 minutes. I have to redirect one of my children to a different neurologist. I'm gonna have to also today redirect my child's Neurologist to a different one again because insurance keeps sending me there. For two different children. This place is horrible. The guy needs to lose his job. He didn't put me in through the manager. He refused to even let me talk with her and saying that she's busy which sounds like a lie he didn't put me on an additional five minute hold only to tell me that the manager is not available and he's gonna send me through her voicemail then put me on another hold for that and then transferred me to a voicemail that was full. Update from last week. I left the neurology group today and canceled all to future appointments. When a neurologist explains a medication to you that she feels will be right for you but doesn't fill it...that's a problem. Her assistant told me that the doctor wanted my GP to fill it rather than the neurologist. This is an extremely bad practice. It appears to me that this doctor is afraid of litigation so why bring the medication up to begin with? To make matters worse: in addition to my several phone calls, my doctor answered none of my online inquiries over a two week period. I've never been treated this way by a "professional practitioner" in my life. Avoid the neurology group. read more

Appointment time was a joke. I waited anywhere from 30 minutes to over 60 minutes for the doctor to come in the room. Lunchtime for the doctors and staff takes president over patients. I was being seen for possible neuropathy. The first appointment for the EMG went smoothly. The EMG tech was awesome. The second appointment was a nightmare. The EMG tech was always on time, professional, and personable. I waited for over an hour for the doctor to return to finish EMG. The office is showing limited cleaning and upkeep. My follow up appointment was with the nurse practitioner via a telehealth appointment. I'm still uncertain if I do have neuropathy after that appointment. The follow up was being referred to four or five other health professionals. All in all I can say seeing this neurology office was a great disappointment. read more

WOW WOW WOW I've waited 2 months for this appointment for my daughter. After 2 years of therapy, our entire care team have agreed to my daughter definitely being in need of a neurological examination. I am not even kidding you, we were in the exam room with Dr. James Collen for no more than a 10 minutes. Most of that time was spent asking basic questions; allergies, medical conditions, family history, etc., the other half of the time was him telling us that the main reason my child is the way that she is, is due to screen time, and to cut it out cold turkey and completely 100% and he would see us again in March..... There was no consideration for A) all the reports we have not only from the referring pediatrician, but also all the therapists and regional center on our care team B) evaluate the patient herself as far as Reflexes, Motor Skills, Balance, or simply just watching her how she walks ..... I have to be honest, I read the reviews and I did call my pediatrician to refer me elsewhere before this appointment, but due to the amount of time we waited for this appointment we agreed as a team to give this doctor/office a chance, AND BOY DO I REGRET IT. The moment I walked in, I said "Good morning" loud enough for the entire front staff to hear/acknowledge. They all looked like they hate their job, didn't respond and give you zero sense of comfort with trusting them with yourself let alone your child. Coming from the medical field myself, and more specifically, working in a pediatric specialty, this office and doctor are a complete RED FLAG. read more

I had an appointment with Dr. Farsani on November 8th, 2023 a representative called me to cancel it because she said that the doctor Farsani resigned from the clinic and that they would call me to give me another date for my appointment. I'm still waiting for the appointment, I've called more than 8 times and left a message with Nancy, but she is a lazy and irresponsible person who doesn't return calls. I sent a message to the email and they didn't respond to me either. I sending text messages and the unique answer was: "I apologize for trying to help you" And I responded: Why doesn't anyone return the calls? I need to make an appointment to see the neurologist Steve Tiu, he is the doctor who has shown interest in my problem. But I think that the customer service staff is not interested in answering the calls, if that is the case, tell me and I will look for another clinic that is interested in having clients. But I no longer received any response. I'm going to have to change clinics because I see that they are not interested in seeing patients. Dr. Farsani, like Dr. Steve Tiu, are good professionals, the problem is with the receptionist named Nancy, she is a jerk who does not answer calls and you are left without medical attention. There is a person by the name of Brenda that is the lead in memorytesting there that is very rude and will cut you off when speaking to someone there. I was in today to get a test done for my elderlymother and since the minute I walked in and speaking with the clerk she stepped in not knowing what was going on and tell me how things where going to get done. She would not let me finish asking a question and wanted to make sure that there is no one other than her that I could talk to. I was told she is a lead. Not a manager, just a lead. When reaching the main line, I was told I would get a call back from a partner there. But it's 11pm and never received a call. This is not a good place to go to. If she represent this group, I will have nothing to do with them. Appointments also take forever to get. They probably over work there employee, that's probably why Brenda acted the way she did. If I could give this place a zero I would. The doctors have no care for their patients. I've had nerve pain for almost a year they have done nothing about it. Ran some blood test said they found nothing abnormal, they don't want to run any other test. I've been a patient here for almost a year and I've only seen the doctor ONCE. They never answer their phone so goodluck trying to get any of your questions answered or even getting an appointment. I finally had an appointment in person tomorrow at 9am my husband had to take the day off so he can watch our kids. I had missed call from them today at 5pm once they are closed and I heard the voicemail they are canceling my app and I couldn't even call back to ask why cause they are closed. TLDR: Incompetent staff, lacking property training on internal procedures and basic due diligence. Called in with referral and spoke with Norma to schedule an appointment. Norma requested that I send in my referral documents via text message per their procedures. I sent the requested documents from an iPhone. Norma replies to my message and photo with "Good morning my name is Norma, I will be calling by the end of the day. Thank you". (Norma never looked at the information sent to her,since according to her, the image never when through)... She proceeds to call back 4hrs later only to say that there was an error, and that they no longer accept my insurance provider. Now that isn't why there is a 1 star rating. Carries change all the time, these things happen. The issue is the time between my initial call/message and when Norma decided to call back and inform me of the situation. If Norma would have done her basic due diligence from the 1st call at 10:50am and looked up my information over the phone when I provided referral number, she would have noticed that they no longer work with my provider and I could have then started the process of obtaining a referral for a different neurologist within my network. Spoke with a supervisor Irene who was no help either, just an attitude. Hands down worst customer service I've had from a medical office. My insurance ended up getting an exception, but declined chose and office who actually looked up my referral on the the 1st phone call. I'll take a drive to Pasadena any day then go through this nightmare. God only knows how there care is face to face. read more

They are so disorganized. Had an appointment at 8am for a nerve test. They changed my appointment to 1pm without contacting me about the time change. They said if the person who had the 8:30 am nerve test today did not show up I would be taking in then. At 8:45am I ask about them taking me in and they had to call the technician who performs the nerve tests. Then told the Technician wlis driving in can see me @ 9:45am. They lied! If I could give -5 stars I would. First of all when making an appointment, you will not speak to anyone in the office. You will be speaking to a phone service. That phone service will make the appointment. If you have any specific questions, or any further details to give, or get, there is no way to contact the office directly. I had questions concerning my husband's appointment, and I had to physically go to the office in order to speak with the staff about my concerns. My husband never saw the neurologist in person. Had an initial phone consultation with Dr. Quasi and he did not know anything about my husband's medical history. This was AFTER we were referred by our primary care physician, and filled out a lengthy questionnaire as to why we were looking for a neurological consultation. The doctor thought my husband was coming to him for migraines, and proceeded to prescribe medication for the nonexistent migraines. My husband told him that he does not suffer from migraines, and that is not why we were seeking a consultation with him. We then scheduled an in person consultation. After my husband's in person testing/consultation at the office we still did not see the doctor. We saw the nurse practitioner, which is fine, because I would assume the doctor does not conduct the testing himself. My husband was then referred for an MRI. When the results came back, I would have expected us to have an in person, face-to-face consultation with the doctor. We did not. We had a consultation with him over the phone and that was it. The doctor said the MRI results were negative and there was nothing to be done for my husband and that was it. I had questions for Dr. Quasi and he was dismissive and reiterated that the MRI results were negative and there was nothing "wrong" with my husband. Not surprisingly the office staff is equally rude and dismissive. They make you feel as though you are bothering them or keeping from something important. The eye rolling and heavy sighing was more than I could tolerate. Would not recommend anyone in this neurology group after this horrible experience with this doctor and office staff. The only good thing I can say about this office is that it was clean, and the nurse practitioner was extremely patient, and listened to the concerns my husband and I had during the testing. read more

Then when we show up are told that the test was moved to an office 12 miles away. The claim was that they left a message Friday. We have to call BS on that as there was no message Friday from anyone. Not sure how this place is in business still. They don't respond to emails or calls. I have been calling for 2 days now straight and have not been able to get through anyone on the phones. My son had his first seizure years ago. We were referred with multiple neurologist within the area and had no answers. We were then scheduled with The Neurology Group and saw Dr Collen. The attentive care and acknowledgement to our concerns made such a difficult situation more comforting. He explained everything in an understandable way. Not only addressing my concerns but my sons too. Dr Collen has gone above and beyond and has helped us in this journey. We are forever thankful. We have ZERO complaints about the staff and doctors at The Neurology Group. Our high school athletic son has been seen 3 times for a concussion and first time seizure. We were very anxious regarding the medical issues our son experienced. The staff and doctors at this group made the whole experience easier to deal with and made us feel confident that this matter could be treated. Dr. Collem has been outstanding with our son. He not only speaks directly to him but to us as well. He is patient, thorough in his explanations, provides educational materials regarding the medical issue, speaks plainly, doesn't talk down to us, and conveys genuine care and concern. His medical assistant Vanessa went above and beyond to make sure our authorization was received and tracked it down for us. At the front desk, Cameron was friendly, helpful and made it easy to schedule this appointment and our follow-up appointment. We highly recommend this neurological group! read more

My mother came here by referral from Pomona Valley Hospital. After this office constantly changing her appointments, she finally went in today to her appointment. The receptionist there was extremely rude and disrespectful to her simply because my mother chose to speak to her in Spanish. My mother tells her you know what if you're going to have that type of attitude and can't help me, find someone that will. They had her waiting and all of a sudden say they don't take her insurance? I don't understand how this place is even open with SO many bad reviews? How are these idiots behind the desk not fired? I've worked as a receptionist and I've NEVER treated someone so disrespectful or have been so stupid and unfair to patients no matter how rude they were to me! Checking out, I was told they would call in the script and submit authorization for the mri with my insurance. It took 2 weeks and my pharmacist making several calls to get the prescription order. Its been 3 mos and still waiting for them to submit an authorization for an MRI. I called in so many times to get that referral.
