Lucky for me, this Savers location is clean and organized so I don't have to wade through so much stuff to get to what I want. The clothing racks are well maintained, pants are hung neatly and items are usually in the right size/categories (other stores are disorganized and such a mess that I don't trust the labels on the racks). I especially love browsing through the household goods and "knick-knacks"....which is funny because I strongly dislike clutter and only purchase things that I have a use for. But I like how items are grouped together in packets-similar to a "grab bag" from years ago. Although I do love Savers, I've noticed that the prices are a bit higher than other thrift shops. But much of the clothing is better quality, so it seems fair to me. Also, the dressing rooms are very dirty (dust piles on the floor), so watch out for that.

The people who work here are friendly and helpful, and they will give you a donation receipt for your taxes. I love donating items here because they are a genuine non-profit unlike the Deseret Industry, which is more of a thrift store. This organization truly helps minors in need for free, so it will do your heart good to donate here.

It's divided into small sections where each seller sets up their items and then the buyer can shop from multiple sellers at once. Select what you want, try them on (yes!! they have dressing rooms!) and pay for it all in one transaction. The inventory is hit and miss; each seller has their own "style" as well as sizing. Some sections have only women's clothing, others have a mix of mens, womens and even children. There's a small poster above the rack that explains what you'll find in that section. I love supporting local folks and this is a great way to do it. The pricing was also fair-not quite thrift store, but better than what you'll find at the mall. I was happy with my finds!

However they legitimately had a ton of expensive name brand clothing for pretty low prices. The set up was a little confusing though. They have "stalls" and each stall has different types of items and entirely different pricing and deals. SUPER DISAPPOINTING. 6/2/26…read moreThere was a coach purse my daughter saw the workers talking about it and trying on during their work shift and my daughter saw it and was interested in it but was nervous to ask about it so we (myself and my mother in law) asked about the coach purse and they let us look to see the condition and we said we will take it and asked them to hold for us until we were done shopping and they said they would. We continue to shop and then they tell my mother in law that it was actually on hold for someone else and that they were coming to pick it up later. I speak to an employee telling her we will stick around to see if anyone picks it up and if not we will buy it and she was very insistent that this customer was "coming." My daughter waited near the front check-out desk to see if anyone came to pick up the bag the entire time and no one had come and then all of a sudden they said the customer had come, but my daughter never saw them take the bag out or sell it. It was apparent that the entire staff including assistant manager? knew about the situation and were all in on it. I'd really rather go to uptown murray or any other location now. I can't believe they would be this shiesty of human beings. I've recommended this location to my co-workers and friends which have shopped and sold their clothing items here, but I will definitely be notifying them of this situation and recommending they go elsewhere. Shiesty people aren't trustworthy. I'll take my recommendations, money and clothing elsewhere.
