I actually really like this uptown cheap skate because 1. There's plenty of parking! What ease! 2. It's organized and easy to find what you need 3. There's food places next door and a coffee shop across the way I really like it here when I stopped by and on top of it, they took the most items out of all the uptown cheapskates places I went to! Don't sleep on this one. The selection also has a lot of unique items especially sports wise. I felt like that they had a good selection. ACTUALLY THE MOST SHIESTY WORKERS. SUPER DISAPPOINTING. 6/2/26 There was a coach purse my daughter saw the workers talking about it and trying on during their work shift and my daughter saw it and was interested in it but was nervous to ask about it so we (myself and my mother in law) asked about the coach purse and they let us look to see the condition and we said we will take it and asked them to hold for us until we were done shopping and they said they would. We continue to shop and then they tell my mother in law that it was actually on hold for someone else and that they were coming to pick it up later. I speak to an employee telling her we will stick around to see if anyone picks it up and if not we will buy it and she was very insistent that this customer was "coming." My daughter waited near the front check-out desk to see if anyone came to pick up the bag the entire time and no one had come and then all of a sudden they said the customer had come, but my daughter never saw them take the bag out or sell it. It was apparent that the entire staff including assistant manager? knew about the situation and were all in on it. I'd really rather go to uptown murray or any other location now. I can't believe they would be this shiesty of human beings. I've recommended this location to my co-workers and friends which have shopped and sold their clothing items here, but I will definitely be notifying them of this situation and recommending they go elsewhere. This really isn't totally the fault of uptown cheapskate, but the men's section is basically non existent at this location. The shoe sizes were just all mixed together in a couple rows, and then there were some bins just full of shoes. I also came in to sell some shoes, and strangely, even though you've sold at an uptown cheapskate before, if you haven't done it at this location, you still have to stay in store, and the wait was 45 mins. read more

Well organized I was able to find a nice sweater for 15 dollars it was a Vince Comuto. Not bad but also was expecting a little cheaper. The employee all were nice . I've sold to this location a million times. Each time has been great and I get decent prices. There is one particular employee with ginger hair who is not very friendly, and who Ive watched take a few things of the top of my bin, then call it good. And this has happened more than once. Came to drop off some clothes and was never greeted or helped by any employees. I was told they don't accept any clothes in trash bags and they had to be in bins, but wasn't offered one of the many bins they had sitting behind the desk. When I asked for one I was told I had to wait in-store if I used one of their bins. Had to leave because I didn't have an extra hour to waste while waiting for them. I have had issues with this location before. I have heard many issues of peoples things being donated due to not being contacted that their buy was done. Luckily I called. Didn't get the email till 9:10pm which at that point the only options are store credit and donation. Ethical or sketchy? Anyone who hasn't been notified in time should immediately be given a refund. I tried so hard to like this location but every time has been a let down. Most recently being accused of stealing bc I didn't have a bag and carried my clothes I bought out of the store (they literally do not give you one unless you specify) and an employee followed me to my car to knock on my window and asked if I paid for them. i came in to sell some clothes to them, and the lady at the counter was so sassy and rude! as soon as i walked in, she said "oop, so we actually can't take your donations in a trash bag." i told her that i've never had an issue with bringing in a trash bag because i just put the clothes in a bin. "well we've had this policy for the last three years, so i don't know what to tell you." i told her that i wasn't giving her the bag itself, but i would be putting them in the provided bins. AND SHE WALKED AWAY. so her coworker asked if i had gotten a bin, and i told her no. so she handed me a bin, and i laid my clothes nicely in it. they told me it would be about thirty minutes until they were finished. so my friend and i walked around the store, and they were done five minutes later. they had barely touched my clothes, i brought in maybe $200 worth of stuff (good condition and name brand). she told me she would take four of the items for $12 cash (or $15 store credit), which means you know they didn't care to look. coming to this location was a waste of my time, i will be going to another location in the future. read more

I arrived at the store with two big boxes of brand name clothing that were all in great condition, and when I walk in no one bothered to talk to me or acknowledge me until I presented myself several minutes later. After checking in and waiting for an hour and a half, they called me up to give me a quote for $10 cash and $12.50 store credit, saying they can only accept THREE of my items! Considering I brought in very nice clothing, (not damaged at all) and expensive brand name clothing, I was shocked to hear that's all they could offer me! And on top of that the employees that were sorting through clothes were very rude and didn't care to explain why your ridiculous policies are the way they are! Lastly, I can honestly say that I strongly regret not asking for my clothes back after they said they can only keep three items and donate the rest, because after leaving the store I quickly learned from others experiences, that employees are either caught stealing items or the store just ends up selling the clothes that they claim they can't take. what a scam. read more

Probably one of the worst thrift shops I have been to. First off this place is tiny but jam packed to the point where you are constantly bumping into someone. Now with selling, I showed up on a Saturday and they said it would be an hour wait because they were busy. Okay whatever I get that, then they said that since I haven't sold there before they would need me to stay in the store. I told them I was busy but that's understandable I guess. Fast forward to today (Monday) I came and was greeted coldly but was I was happy because they said it shouldn't take very long at all. I went to check in and saw there was a thing to fill out for my drivers license. I asked the girl and she said they needed my license number. I explained that I didn't have it on me but I could get a picture of it and after a few minutes she tells me she also needs it to be in person. I asked her why they would need all this information with my drivers license and she told me to make sure these clothes of mine weren't stolen. Listen maybe I'm just being dumb but how in the world would they know if my clothes were stolen by having my license info? It's not even that I'm upset over the fact that I didn't have my license and they needed it but the girl's tone was very snarky and she did not seem to care. read more

I like shopping here at times, but there are better recyclable designer resellers out there. Selling here is a different story. It seems like they cater only to teenage apparel. No wonder why that's the only traction they receive. I've got paid $7 for 5 items which costed me well over $120 in the past year. I've decided to never sell here again. Also looking into never shopping here as well as they do not offer a versatile selection and caters to a certain demographic and age bracket.
