I understand things can occur. This MRI required of me, to abstain from Intimacy with my wife for 72 hours and to fast from midnight until the procedure. Okay not a big deal, nothing to get angry about. Here is where it gets worse!!! I called the next day to reschedule and the automated answering service said they were busy and would answer when available. After being on an automated hold call with music for over one hour without anyone picking up the call, their system ended the call. To me that's way way worse than an honest mistake which occurred at my original appt. What do you think? I had to edit this review, as obviously I needed to call back after their system ended my call without answering. So on my second call, again I've been on automated hold again. I'm over an hour again of hold time to reschedule my appt that was postponed by Halo not me. You'll never guess what happened. Yes you guessed it! Same thing occurred on this call!!! Over an hour and their system ended the call. No patient should ever have to wait 2 hours to talk to a live person to make an appt for a medical procedure. That's an indication that the patient is of no concern to the provider. It is a reflection of their professionalism. It should also cause concern for the rest of their ability in other aspects of their business to provide professional service. My new rating is 1

UMD has radiology facilities in Temecula and Murrieta. I had a MRI and X-ray done at their Temecula location. It was for an appointment with an orthopedic doctor I was seeing there. Staff was friendly, helpful, organized, no hassles--what a breath of fresh air compared to Radnet! They have recently opened up for outside referrals. So, I scheduled an appointment with them for an annual preventative CT scan at this location in Murrieta. This location has been opened since November. It's brand spanking new with a state of the art CT machine. They are working to build up a clientele. Please check them out!

Upon scheduling the MRI appointment the question "do you work around sheet metal was asked. I was confused as to why the question was asked and stated "yes". However, immediately after I redacted my statement and further elaborated that I work in construction , however I don't directly deal with metal. The ball was in the staff's hand with the answer and they should have put "no". I received a phone call one day prior to my scheduled appointment and was told for a second time that I would have to get an xray done on my eye to ensure no sheet metal was in there (AFTER I CONFIRMED THE INITIALLY THAT I DID NOT IN FACT WORK AROUND SHEET METAL.) Once I informed the attendant that I did not want the establishment to bill my insurance, I was met frustration in the tone and was informed the appointment for my MRI was cancelled , prolonging my attempt to seek medical attention. The administrative manager became involved and was ignoring the fact that I didn't work around sheet metal. This left me with the impression that they wanted to milk my insurance. The admin manager was no help with the situation and kept ignoring the fact that the day of scheduling the MRI appointment I said NO and did not take the situation seriously. Overall, the professionalism of addressing the issue was dissatisfying and not taken seriously.

I came to Sol Radiology Victorville for a routine neck x-ray. I have had multiple imaging studies…read morehere without copays, including an MRI, so I was surprised to be charged $22 at the kiosk with no explanation. I contacted the billing department to understand what this charge was for. Instead of a straightforward answer, I spoke with two separate representatives who were rude, condescending, and aggressive on the phone. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told no. This was deeply unprofessional, especially when my only concern was understanding why this visit differed from my previous visits. Fortunately, I eventually spoke with Dustin, the lead supervisor in the scheduling department, who investigated and resolved the issue in five minutes. He explained that the kiosk had failed to process my insurance correctly and that the charge was their error. He apologized for how I was treated and stated that he would get management involved and provided his contact information incase I don't get my refund from this visit. Here's what troubles me: a billing kiosk error is understandable; staff rudeness and refusing a supervisor escalation is not. The fact that a scheduling supervisor could resolve this quickly while billing department staff gave me the runaround suggests a significant problem with how the billing department handles patient concerns. Dustin demonstrated exactly how patients should be treated, with respect and efficiency. The billing department should learn from his example. I'm posting this review because other patients deserve to know that when something goes wrong, Sol Radiology may not handle your concerns professionally. That's a serious issue for a healthcare provider and I will be looking into making sure my family and I do not need to come to this company any longer for radiology services.
