I came in same day after going to a different salon the day before, where my hair unfortantley didn't turn out as I expected. I was stressed and honestly nervous to trust someone else with my hair especially being blonde & having handtied extensions... but the second I sat in their chair, they were comforting, reassuring, and so kind. They took the time to really listen, walk me through the entire process, and explain exactly what they were doing to get my hair where I wanted it to be. Brittany did my highlights & Kayla did my sew in extensions & they both put aside time to work together and figure out the best color match for me. Rachel is such a positive personality and highly skilled at what she does. I came in for a color correction of black henna AND boxed dyes. She was playful and easy to talk to and also very upfront about cost, time, and expected results (that weren't favorable because of what I'd done #CardinalRule). However, she took her time, she was present through the process, attentive, and still pulled of a result better than either of us were prepared for! I also actually appreciated seeing her consult live with other specialists in the salon. I know some people may feel like that means a person doesnt know what they're doing, but to me it was a strength. From scheduling the appointment to discussions with Faith leading up to our appointment, she was so attentive and happy to answer any questions I had. I had long wavy hair and wanted to change things up and go shorter with lots of layers and sent Faith a couple photos of what I was thinking of doing. I have been going to Jamy for my hair care needs for over a year now. Jamy continues to amaze me with her skill and knowledge. If I have an issue, she works to fix it. The experience is always fun and relaxing. I am always offered a drink and a small treat (a piece of chocolate or a few cookies). A very nice and welcome touch! Jamy is very sweet and fun to be around. I really enjoy talking to her and I am normally the "bury my face in a magazine" type at the hair salon. My last hair color (I am now a dark brown vs. golden blonde...thanks to well water at home!) was amazing! Jamy added a caramel color to it and I have received so many compliments!
