We were in town for the night and my husband booked me a same-day appt for a blow out, I was just happy to be able to get in. I was happily surprised with the salon and Kendal. Kendal was amazing!! I went for the first time today with my boyfriend and I'd recommend everyone honestly. We got to work with Yesnia, Micaiah, and I don't remember the last one unfortunately because she worked with my boyfriend. But she was also lovely and did a great job, made him feel comfortable which helped make his experience enjoyable. It was my first time getting my lashes done and Micaiah was super gentle and informative so I never was caught off guard. I felt very comfortable with her. Yesnia I saw on social media and she's the first one to truly give me layers that I notice, they frame my face in a flattering way and captured what I wanted to a tee. I hadn't had my hair cut in over a year and didn't know where to go that was affordable, had good stylists, and was easy to book. After much searching on both Yelp and Instagram I was thrilled to find Atelier hit all three of these needs! I easily booked online and after choosing my time and service was able to pick from a list of stylists that fit my schedule and budget. I cross-referenced their work on Instagram and ended up finding a great stylist that met all of my needs. When I arrived, I checked in at the front desk and was given a first-time goodie bag and browsed some of the products for sale while I waited for my time. The waiting area as well as the whole salon has a great aesthetic and a relaxing vibe. I came in for a transformation haircut and Emily made me feel comfortable the whole time, made a plan for my next visit, and I left with a haircut that looked almost exactly like my inspo pictures! While I only came in for a cut Atelier offers all sorts of other beauty services to fit your needs from other hair services to facials and more. I have been coming here regularly for 3+ years and have been happy with the stylists/estheticians that work there. However, I've noticed over the past year that the dynamics there have really changed and they've started promoting things publicly on their social media about how they train their employees to upsell clients which I think is in super poor taste. It's one thing to do the training (I get this from a business standpoint) but to post about it on social media as something to be proud of is tacky. I've also been charged for things like extra color with not conversation beforehand which I would have been fine paying for if the stylist had actually told me about it beforehand. There also needs to be training about posting clients pictures on social media without asking. I had pictures taken of me and posted without my consent. They asked the stylist but not me and I even said something in the moment and they didn't pay attention. I brought it up before I paid for my appointment to the same person who took the video and she blew it off and didn't even acknowledge that it was her. It is not okay to post pictures of clients without their consent. The experience over the last year is why I've given it 2/5, before that it was 5/5. read more

I have been going to Atelier for years. The space is so peaceful with lots of natural tones, wood beams, big open windows, and plants growing everywhere. Everyone is so kind and friendly. I have always enjoyed every experience I've had here. My latest being with Aria! Off the bat, she was so cheerful and enthusiastic about my vision. We talked about the specific look I wanted for my wedding and we decided to do a custom blonding. She asked all the right questions, making sure that she understood what I wanted. She took her time and was very thorough. Once we did the final reveal, my hair was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! But it wasn't exactly what I had envisioned (mind you this is my wedding hair so I was being picky). So I reached out to Aria and she handled it like a true professional. She was understanding and used her knowledge of color theory to talk me through some of my hesitation of going with a warmer blonde. She then invited me back to the salon to do some adjustments to my hair. I do want to emphasize, the work she did the first time was beautiful, but how she handled the situation with such grace, and making me feel so validated, AND THEN with a few tweaks turning my hair into MY DREAM HAIR fit for a bride ! I have been to this salon once before, but the stylist that I go to no longer works there. I got my hair done by MEGHAN while she was going through training. I was referred to her by a friend. The first time I asked for a balayage and a hair cut. I made sure to let her know that my hair lightens really easily. She left the bleach on for so long that when I touched my hair, it started coming off like cotton candy. I was freaking out and asked her if that was normal and she said it was because I didn't want to use the K18 product that she was going to charge me extra for. I don't work at the salon. I don't know what that product is suppose to do for my hair. She got the color wrong and had to ask for help multiple times. She ket saying that she liked the finishing product, but I asked for copper and not a bleaching high lights. Not only that but my hair was completely dead. I HAD TO GO BACK AND GET MY HAIR FIXED THE FIRST TIME. Since I was referred her by her friend and just thought "maybe she is still training" so I gave her a second chance. She did fix the color and made things right the last time. I asked for the exact same thing using the exact same inspirational photos. She told me that the same recipe was in the system so we can't get it wrong. She asked if I wanted to try Demi color. She said it was semi permanent and the color would last longer. I trusted her so I said I would give it a try. My hair came out really orange and the roots were really dark dark brown. It was a very harsh transition from the roots to my hair. All of the dimensions in my hair are gone. She had charged me for a balayage, haircut and styling, K18, extra color, extra color. The total came out to $370. Once I got home I had realized that my hair looks very harsh and the Demi color orange in my hair really shines through in the light. The front looks like it has 3 different colors. I had told her that I am in the military and the colors had to be natural. Long story short, my hair is out or regulations. I asked her to get it fixed and she blocked my number. I called the salon twice to see if anyone else had an appointment. She said the manager would call me back and ever did. The second time I called the front desk had a stylist name Alex pretend to be the manager an was completely rude to me. I made sure to tell her that I don't mind who it is, I just need to get my hair fixed. I apologized for missing the fixing appointment. It was on a Saturday when I thought it was a Wednesday. I'm sure I'm not the first person to miss an appointment. My hair is so dead, it would take at least 6 months for my hair to start healing with treatment and the color is bright orange. No one has contacted me back, I have heard nothing from the manager, and Meghan decided it was the right thing to block me because she didn't want to eat the cost of fixing a color when it's her job. read more

My haircut lasted an hour and my stylist was Megan I think . Overall Megan did a great job on my hair , she was attentive , an active listener , and she styled my hair just the way I wanted it in a timely manner. My partner got a curly cut done with aria and it was the best experience ever! From the moment we got to the salon, aria was so knowledgeable about what she was doing, and really helped my partner feel confident in her hair. she made sure to check in at the very beginning, asking us if her chair location was okay and if there was anything we needed, and spent a very detailed amount of time learning exactly what we expected. it's not easy to cut, style, or manage my partner's 3c texture, but aria did such a flawless job! going into it we were nervous, as it was the first time in over 6 years my partner let anyone near her hair, but Aria was confident in her skills and truly showed off! we are insanely impressed and will be coming back every single chance we get! she did so wonderful i'm considering switching to her services full time for myself as well! truly could not have asked for a more skilled, caring stylist. i will be recommending her ten fold. I was referred to Atelier by the friend. I was in desperate need of a haircut and I got tired of going to great clips because they didn't know how to work with my hair. I have thick, wavy layered hair and when it grew out it looked really wonky. I met with McKenna, she did a dry cut for the initial cleanup, then shampooed and deep conditioner treatment. After she dried my hair straight and did an overall trim. McKenna then styled my hair with a curling iron leaving my hair soft and wavy (see picture for results). Mckenna was really sweet along with other staff. I continued to comeback for my haircuts and waxing services. I scheduled a custom balayage with Meghan2 (level 2 Stylist) and I was very disappointed. I mention that I have been a client of the salon since 2023 and I have always worked with Irma, until unfortunately, she left and I had to be forced to go to another stylist. From the very beginning I specified honey blonde, so that in the end I would leave with a different color ( dark blonde) and be told that the color would come out when I wash it. Meghan did not ask me once if I needed anything, or if everything was okay. Totally disappointed with the experience and unfortunately I will have to look for another salon to fix the mistake. I should mention that I tried to explain the problem at the reception and talk to a manager, the only solution they gave was a new wash with the same stylist. First she took me nearly full blonde, then was supportive of my decision to go back to natural, and then to cut my waist-length hair to my collarbones, then to do bangs.
