Best jerky E-V-E-R. Located on 360 just north of Barton Creek Mall, this is a must stop for the jerky lover. You can sample each product before purchasing. My favorites are the chipotle and the hatch chile variety. FYI, the habanero is deadly spicy. Get the beef, the turkey is dry. The jerky is refrigerated and has great flavor with some tooth. Beware if you have dentures or a weak jaw. Consuming the jerky is quite a jaw workout.

We seen this place off Hwy 360 numerous times. When my cousin and his son arrived in Austin. His son said he wanted some real Beef Jerky. This place immediately came to my mind. We attempted to drive out here during the middle of the week and couldn't find the truck or display. SO I came online and found out they were only out off the 360 on the weekends. We got out here off the 360 on a Saturday we actually made it to his display at 450 pm ...Barely seeing he closes at 5 pm. When we got out here we found out they no longer carries Buffalo jerky. He offered Samples of everything he had available for sale. We settled on Peppered Beef for our 1st time. The package was $8.00. The pepper was not over powering you could enjoy and taste the beef. It wasn't too salty. Nice and chewy and not to hard. Best part of it was the Thick serving portions were great sizes. We are looking forward to going back and taking advantage of the discount if you buy 3 packages. Next time I plan to try a more spicier blend. 1 package for the kids, 1 package for everyone and 1 package for the spice lover in me. For those who are lucky they do Deliver to certain areas. They also offer shipping on the website I am giving it only 3 stars because the lack there of ease to get to and the price. IF I find my self on the side of the freeway with $10.00 to spare you best believe I will stop again.

    Regular flavor only $8!

Extremely good jerky. Definitely recommend. Regular and spicy are may favourite picks.

This jerky is superb. Great flavor, proper texture and nice variety of meats and spices. Caution: the habanero jerky is pretty hot.

I had to figure everything out on my own they look at you like you have 2 heads. Furthermore when I was served with ABLT which I have ordered and the cafe no longer serves red wine, oh no! So what's a Swedish Hill establishment with no red wine. Yes that was upsetting but that is not the reason why I'm giving them a one star, Actually it's the food you could tell the bread was old and probably sitting around for a while the avocados was very hard and also the BLT was a little bit burnt I couldn't get into it. So I went and decided to eat my BLT but was no flavor bland nothing exciting. The windows are very dirty you could tell they haven't washed the windows in a while. You couldn't really see outside to see what is out there to create the ambiance that people like in a Swedish hill restaurant which I have never been here before. Because of the staff behavior and the dining experience I had was unfavorable I will not return promise you that. Even though I do give chances this time I will not. This is a restaurant I do not recommend like I said it is odd that in broad daylight they were not acting as though they even care. Later found out after a day later that it was also a franchise that's why they don't care they want to make a lot of money off of you giving you as little as possible not giving you what you would love to enjoy in a Swedish hill restaurant. They do have plenty of parking lots for handicapped and easy to get to the restaurant no problem there.

It is located in a luxury hotel as well, which has vallet parking and other amenities. The food was good but not memorable- but Im not sure if that's because we had lunch. It was good, but not as high end as expected. To be fair the price point was also not bad, coming in under $40 per person, but still feels like a missed opportunity. The shout out was the service- it was slow so we had full attention and our server went above and beyond. It was my birthday and they even included a surprise cake :) which was absolutely delicious and if you come here you have to try the pistachio and ricotta cake! Overall had a wonderful time- top of my list for special lunch dates!

The hotel and restaurant are both aesthetically beautiful with gorgeous hill country views, and the standout tree in the middle of the dining room is a stunning design element. We were seated right beside it which made for a great atmosphere while we enjoyed happy hour drinks. One thing I didn't love and hope they reconsider, is that happy hour drinks can only be ordered at the bar. It feels unnecessarily limiting and takes away from the overall dining experience, especially when you're already seated and trying to relax. Aside from that everything else was solid. The entrees that stood out the most were the bolognese, which was well-portioned and the striped bass, which was cooked perfectly. For appetizers we tried the burrata and the meatballs and the meatballs were the clear favorite. For dessert, we went with the tiramisu and pistachio ricotta cake and to my surprise the ricotta cake ended up being the better-balanced and more memorable choice even though I'm usually a tiramisu fan. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a beautiful setting and good food, though I wouldn't say it's mind-blowing Italian cuisine. If you're staying at the hotel or happen to be in the area Laurel is worth a visit, especially since they're open from breakfast through dinner.
