We came here for breakfast and loved it here. Healthy ingredients, great service and very good food. We got the breakfast plate and the burrito and after trying both we liked the burrito more. We sat outside and loved the outdoor seating, they do have fans outside but it gets hot. For someone who wants to eat healthy eating with someone who doesn't care, he still very much enjoyed eating here. We will be coming back!

My friend raved about The Well Westlake so I decided to try it. Monday was very cold with about a 20 degree drop in temperature. Therefore, I was primed for some hot coffee especially a latte. To The Well I went. I did not see any appealing coffees, so I went with peppermint hot chocolate, which I was told was one of the most popular drinks. The hot chocolate was quite delicious, however, in one of the smallest coffee cups I have seen. The hot chocolate was pricey for its size. The Well has a Zen feel from the greenery in the restaurant to the large windows. Overall, it is a small restaurant yet cozy. The menu appears to be varied with many options. According to their hostess, they use clean ingredients, along with local and sustainable farming. I would consider returning to try a lunch or brunch item.

I ordered the salmon and the Old Fashioned Joe drink. The drink was so good and one of the best old fashioned I've ever had. It had a coffee flavor and I love everything with coffee. The salmon was perfectly cooked and they had the skin super crispy. I would definitely come back here. It's perfectly healthy and great service.

There's so many positive things to say about this location. The staff is very friendly, food clean, & vibes on point. We went for lunch and had the House Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Potato and Chorizo Hash. Both were excellent however my freind said the sandwich was a bit oily. Never a dull moment here. 10/10 Free Range Organic Egg

Third visit: September 14, 2025 The Well is quickly becoming our neighborhood "don't want to cook dinner" spot. It's healthy, fairly reasonably priced, and good food. We finally were able to bring my sister to give her a taste on the last night of her recent trip. My mom made reservations and we were seated immediately. There was ample parking on a Sunday night, compared to our previous experience on a Saturday. Could also be the hour, as we are early dinner-people. We shared the taco flight, brussels sprouts, and fingerling potatoes. I finally got to try the spinach pesto pasta (with added chicken for protein) that I look at longingly on the menu each time I've been here before. I KNEW I had already tried the coconut curry squash, because it sounded so familiar! Everything was lovely as always. The only comment is that you can get better tacos elsewhere in Austin but this is probably still the healthier choice, even though they broke apart easily. The brussels and potatoes are a hit with their crunchy and flavorful textures. Finally, the pesto pasta is a crowd pleaser as my sister got the same thing (no chicken) and the server agreed with us too.

I came to this place to get a Chai Latte on my way to work and it was pretty good. The service was quick and everyone was super friendly. The place itself is lovely, super cozy. I need to come back and try the food which I heard it's really good

Came here after a morning hike and it delivered - Delicious food! We sat outside in the shade and it was comfortable, despite the hot day. Our server was friendly and helpful! I would come back - but get here early as it started getting crowded by the time we left.

The Well consistently delivers a quality dining experience. brought some friends who were first timers and they were all blown away at their meal. Clarabelle provided friendly attentive service. We enjoyed lettuce wraps and the beet salad for appetizer. Friends tried the Mezcal and rum cocktails, which were unique and refreshing. We enjoyed the squash curry, make you steak, pesto, pasta, sautéed mushroom, and sweet potato. For dessert, we tried the chocolate mousse, the apple crumble and the violet ice cream. Do not skip dessert! It was my friend's birthday, and they gifted him an espresso martini, which was a very nice touch. I look forward to my next meal at the Well.

looking to do more food reviews outside of DFW so here we are. This place has unique taste of food. This is an organic restaurant and the choices are plenty. You will find something that you like. Service with Karen was awesome and the ambiance is classy small cafe type were you will be able to hear your conversation.

I had a great experience at The Well. It's a healthy café with a wide variety of options. I ordered the classic breakfast plate, which came with toast, a fresh salad with avocado, potatoes, and eggs. Everything was delicious! The salad was bright and flavorful, and I loved the lemony dressing. The potatoes were well-seasoned, and the gluten-free toast was surprisingly good--it had a unique texture but still tasted great. The scrambled eggs were cooked well, overall making a great meal. One of the best things about The Well is its commitment to gluten-free and dairy-free options, making it an excellent choice for those with dietary restrictions. They also have plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes, which I really appreciate. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back to explore more of their menu Oh also I loved that this place had parking and was cute inside!

Always delicious! Service is still great. We were able to walk in and get a table outside for a weekday lunch.

Plenty of parking and a cute indoor seating area. Went for brunch and made reservations ahead of time. Cocktail: Espresso Martini was delicious! Coffee: Iced Vanilla Maca was a very interesting coffee since some of the sweetness was from the organic dates. I did like it though! Appetizer: The guacamole was very lime forward tasting which I like. Entree: The Chilaquiles was recommended as a popular dish and it did not disappoint! I loved the pecan mole as a base layer to the dish.

    Outside seating

Upon arrival, I noticed the outside space. There were several picnic tables on one side and some two tops on the other side. It was chilly but they had some portable heaters. There is a small bar with about six chairs. We were sat at a two top table. There was plenty of room in between the tables. They have cozy looking tables along the wall. One side is a booth and the other side has chairs. Each table is "dressed" with glasses and silverware along with a tiny candle. They bring a pitcher of water which is always nice instead of asking for more water. They have happy hour from 3-5. There are several apps that are $9 and half price glasses of wine. We got avocado toast and salmon ceviche. Both were delicious. The avocado toast looked lovely but it was tricky to eat. The avocado was sliced thin so when you bit into it they often slid off. If you are careful, it stays intact. The bread was great! The salmon ceviche was refreshing. We both wished it had come with more crackers/chips. The presentation of everything was lovely. I didn't look at the menu too much since we were just there for happy hour. Overall, I had a good experience and would go back again.

That's finally changed with the arrival of Conscious Kitchen ATX, a new wholesome oasis in West Lake Hills. Opened just three weeks ago, it's already redefining what it means to eat well and be well. Nuts and seeds form the incredibly hearty foundation for most meals, like the pizza slathered with pesto and sun-dried tomato sauce, veggie burgers that use two patties instead of buns, and hefty breads that could double as savory granola bars. I was treated to a sampler platter because I always need a little taste of everything. Try to save room for dessert though, because these creamy creations are something else. My favorite was the coffee cake, which actually relies on chicory root to impart a caffeine-free latte-like flavor. Conscious Kitchen isn't just filling a gap in the local food scene, it's rewriting the script on what healthy eating taste like. The proof is on the plate that raw food can be decadent and crave-worthy, too.

Could this omelette smothered in mushroom gravy, green "pesto" and bread crumbs be the best omelette I've ever had?! The mushroom tomato gravy was so smooth! Along with the cilantro avocado topping. That tasted more like pesto, gave it the perfect zing! I had wished I the had ordered some toast to dip in the sauce. I could have done without the bread crumbs. But they were easily swept to the side. The amount of mozzarella cheese in this omelette led me to believe it was more of an omelette lasagna than a plain old omelette. This place is definitely a must if you are visiting Austin!

The use of color is playful and engaging. Maaribu's key highlight is its café and bakery. The in house café has an assortment of coffee, wellness beverages, and dedicated gluten free baked goods. I bought a Rose honey latte, which was divine along with a multi-layer pastry. Mable said customers enjoy the quality and flavor of the pastries...scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites are frequent favorites. Importantly, the café is reported to be fully gluten free, which makes it a standout destination for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, without sacrificing taste or variety. The outdoor seating and patio area add to the charm, making Maaribu a great place to enjoy coffee and pastries on a nice Austin morning. After years in Austin, I finally discovered Maaribu--a modern, eclectic coffee shop and store. Every item is thoughtfully curated, blending a home-and-gift shop with a café and bakery for a relaxing experience. The name combines Marfa's creative vibe, Malibu's laid-back style, and Scandinavian design. The shop offers stylish furniture, décor, books, and gifts, all easy to browse and visually engaging. Maaribu's café is fully gluten-free, featuring quality pastries like scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites, as well as wellness drinks and coffee. Outdoor seating makes it a perfect spot to enjoy coffee and pastries on a pleasant Austin morning. Wow...Maaribu!!!

Cafe Largesse is a neighborhood gem that should not be missed. My son and I stopped in for brunch…read moreand enjoyed the smashed avocado toast with an egg over easy and smoked salmon, as well as the chicken tinga ciabatta--both were absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Devin, was friendly and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu since it was our first visit, which we really appreciated. While waiting for our food, I had the chance to take in the décor, and it's truly lovely. I especially enjoyed the display of artwork from local artists, which adds such a warm and creative touch to the space. I also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Olga, who was incredibly kind and wonderful to talk with. If you haven't stopped by yet, I highly recommend it--it's absolutely worth a visit

We tried the breakfast sandwhich and the salmon. Food came out fast and our server was friendly,…read morebut the food itself just didn't do much for us. There wasn't a ton of flavor to be found and it was a lack luster dining experience overall. Again, there were zero issues on the food itself. It was all cooked correctly, but it was probably one of the least memorable meals we've had. The only items that stood out were: 1. The salsa from the tacos (I tried smothering my sandwhich in it to get some flavor) and it had a nice kick. 2. The fig jam stood out because I like figs, but it didn't taste like much was done with it so nothing special. 3. The dirty brown sugar chai latte was VERY chai forward and I probably wouldn't order it again, but I was so bored with everything on my plate it was the most interesting part of my meal.
