Yesterday was our first day using Desert Bloom Mobile Vet Service. After reading the reviews on Yelp and the testimonials on their website I figured I would give them a try since we were looking for a vet in Gilbert. How unique to be able to have a vet come to the house...I've heard of concierge medicine but not for animals. I was thrilled they were able to squeeze me in, since 1 of my 3 dogs had an "emergency" situation. Dr. Molina and her staff were wonderful from the moment they walked in the door. Very professional and my dog wasn't nervous because he was in his own environment. They were very thorough and provided a great service. We were so happy with Dr. Molina that we will be having them come back to do a check up on our other two dogs and do teeth cleanings for all three of the boys :) I would highly recommend Desert Bloom Mobile Vet Service! read more

Called to request an in home euthanasia for our elderly dog. He has been sick for a long time and cannot stand up anymore. Desert Bloom stated they would not aid us without blood work. This procedure adds stress and pain to the process and is completely inappropriate. I speak as a bereaving pet owner and a physician. read more

I have been using Dr. Molina for a few years now and can't say enough great things about her and her staff. We all know how traumatizing a vet visit can be for both animal and human; it's great to be able to have my animals taken care of in an environment they feel comfortable in. I called about euthanasia. Dog is 13, almost blind, heart murmur and hip problems. I was told that they have a strict euthanasia policy that includes blood work ups and urine works up and at that point they have to agree it's what's best. If they feel they can treat the pain they will not. Completely insensitive and only makes a tough decision that much more difficult. I will not use them. read more

This review is long overdue... My ex boyfriend owned 2 ferrets and we had difficulties finding a vet that had the knowledge and experience with ferrets and in searching the great WWW have read sooo many horror stories. through out my research of ferret vets I continually read reviews of this amazing vet Dr. Molina however the contact info was outdated on most of them and the places I contacted did not (or weren't willing) to give me her current location. time went on and I don't remember how I managed to get her contact info but I did and something just told me this vet is the one for our ferrets. We made an appt with her and she and her "crew" were nothing shy of my high expectations of her from all the great things I had read. She is mobile its such a relief to have her come to you. Reminds me of old skool house calls. She shows up and is very professional and at the same time very laid back in the way that she is comfortable to talk to and I wasn't concerned that the dishes weren't done when they were there She has an intern or two along with her. They took their vitals weight etc. Dr. Molina has an obvious love for animals. It showed immediately in the way she and her employees interacted and handled our ferrets. She was very thorough and wasn't trying to run up our bill and worked with us to find a plan to afford what our ferrets needed via schedule. Had awesome suggestions of natural flower essences that worked! she knows her stuff. oh another thing that sticks in my memory is when our little girl ferret Xyla had passed we called in a panic because we could not tell if she had really passed and she took my call while she was on vacation out of the country. Maybe it was luck that she was available.. but she gave us advice to try and revive Xyla. ferrets get blood sugar issues sometimes as they age and had us put syrup on her gums. Xyla had indeed passed already but it was so amazing her sense of urgency in our distress. Since then our other ferret Zeiq has passed. So we haven't seen her in awhile. We tell all our friends about Desert Bloom. Any of them who have used her services were beyond satisfied. Luckily my cat hasn't needed any vet care but when he does its Desert Bloom and Dr Molina we will be calling. Thanks Desert Bloom! read more

We were very happy with our first visit with the vet. We had five of our pets checked and vaccinated at once at home. It was very convenient and she and her assistant were great with our animals. We then needed a follow up visit to finish the vaccinations on our two dogs. In the mean time, one of our dogs was limping. We called and set up an appointment to finish the vaccinations and have the dog examined in two weeks, understanding that she might need an x-ray. I put the appointment in the calendar to be sure I was home for the appointment. If I was able to get the dog into another vet earlier, I was going to call and let them know that we only needed one dog seen in that visit. I tried to get an appointment with another vet, but they were very busy over the holidays. The time of the visit Friday passed with no show, no call. We called to find out what happened. Saturday, we received a call back from the assistant. She insisted that we did not have an appointment, that we were supposed to call them if we hadn't gotten an appointment and that the dog with the injury couldn't be vaccinated because she was injured, which was never discussed during our original call. We asked for an appointment as soon as possible to finish the vaccinations and get a referral to an orthopedic vet, so that we would have the best continuity of care for our dog, rather than having to see three vets. We had to insist that the assistant call the vet to schedule. The assistant called the vet and it was OK to give both dogs the vaccinations and be seen, but the next appointment she was willing to make was another two weeks out. At this point, my dog had been in pain for over a month waiting for an appointment and I needed to take the dog in to another vet if they couldn't see her as soon as possible. It was their miss that they didn't keep the appointment. We asked that the vet call us directly, rather than playing phone tag through the assistant and because we wanted to talk to a manager due to ongoing miscommunication and the assistant just trying to justify their side. Instead of getting a call from the vet, who is the owner of the business and our only path of escalation, we got a call back from the assistant with a transcribed response that once again misrepresented what had happened. We used this service because of the convenience of getting our pets taken care of at home and expected better customer service. We won't be using this service again because management refused to address an issue directly with us. read more

I highly recommend Dr Molina and her staff. Our 11 year old dog, Mindy does not do well when taken to a veterinarian office. The option of in home care has totally turned the experience around. On both visits they gave us a 30 minute window and showed up on time. They were able to gain a urine and blood sample from Mindy with ease and we received the results in a timely manner. They then sent me an email with a link to the on-line pharmacy with her medications already in the cart. I simply had to click the checkout button and they will be delivered to our home. read more

Finding a mobile vet who will come to my area is very difficult. I was thrilled to find Desert Bloom and that they take Care Credit. They handled our newly adopted kitties with kindness and care. Both cats were terrified of being handled, but they had bad ear mites and needed ear cleaning. Dr. Molina and her assistant (I apologize for not remembering your name!) were efficient and understanding. I will be using them for my dogs as well. Thanks ladies! read more

I've been searching for a good vet to use, that doesn't charge as much as a regular doctor. I found it! Desert Bloom did such a great job, they came to my house, took care of what I needed and was a very affordable price. I have a Pit Bull and a Doberman, both needed some vet work (Fecal test, heartworm test, rabies, DH2PP, Bordetella) and they were in and out. They really did care about the animals as well, gave them treats, hugged them, made them feel comfortable while they did the regular checks a vet does. Best part was, they came to my house! I didn't have to go anywhere. I would definitely recommend them as a vet! read more

Our Chihuahua bell was in a lot of pain. We took her to a vet down the street, he was awful. Because she was in so much pain he didn't want to move her that much. We called desert bloom, they were able to come out that same day. Jeannette who Was The vet and her technician julie came out. Wow they were wonderful, they spent over a hour with us answering all our questions. We didn't have the money for x-ray and blood tests. We asked if we could try steroids first they agreed. They called us 7 days after our appointment like they said they would to check on her. She is doing so much better. I just wish our bell didnt have to suffer So long before we called these True professionals. Thank you ladies!!! read more

I found Dr. Molina through United Pet Care insurance(UPC) when my ferret got sick with Insulinoma. I loved her from day one. I love that she specializes in ferrets. She is a great listener, empathetic and flexible. She also treats my Miniature Australian Shepherd. Mobile vet is a perk if ya don't want take your sick baby out. ;) read more

My 15 yr old cat had a terrible upper respiratory infection. Since I have been sick too I didn't want to take both of us for a long car ride to our regular vet. Dr. Molina and her assistant Julie took great care of my old guy. They gave me a window of time to arrive and Julie called to let me know they would be a few minutes late which I greatly appreciated. I was willing to pay more for not having to leave home, and yes I know it was a bit more expensive, but not that much more that a would think twice about having them come back. As an aside, Julie went over and above trying to engage with my very fearful dog. Knowing how terrified my dog is going to the vets office I'm thinking this is a good option for her too. Dr Molina and Julie came for a two week follow up visit today after seeing my new rescue kitty for a check up and vaccinations. They were beyond amazing and were so friendly, kind, and helpful. I was a stressed out first time cat mom and overflowing with insecurity and fears of doing everything wrong. They were so reassuring and pointed out what a good cat he was and that I was doing just fine. Mr Tibbs fell in love with both of them and actually followed them after the vaccinations. Today he was happy to see them again and although he was free to walk away from them, he stayed to play, investigate and just hang out with them. They are so perfect as care providers and animal lovers and totally get my relationship with Mr Tibbs. I can't recommend them highly enough! I'm usually a flying freak show dealing with vets and my pet but with Dr Molina and Julie, I was at ease, comfortable and felt totally safe and secure as well as confident in their care. Please spare your animal kids the stress of a vet visit/waiting room and have these wonderful women care for your pets. I wouldn't go anywhere else unless in an emergency situation. I've been to so many vets in the valley. I've never found one I've liked as much as Desert Bloom and they are mobile which is wonderful. My cats hate car rides and vet offices so it's perfect. Dr. Molina is easy to talk to and she helps you understand everything. I really appreciated the extra interest and attention she gives. For example, she recommended joint pain support (not something she sold) because she noticed the way my cat was walking. Incredible! This is a great service...they came to my house so there was less stress on my cat. They were very friendly and courteous. Everything was explained and the procedures were animal friendly - no thermometer up the you-know-where - they check it in the ear instead. Most amazing part was that my cats are indoor cats, so I haven't kept up their shots. The vet brought that up, but only to make sure it was accurate. Never tried to 'force' me to have my cats brought up to date with their shots. I thought that was wonderful. We did discuss the shots, but there was no pressure on me to get them. I would recommend Desert Bloom to any pet lover. I definitely will use them again. read more

Her office was close to our house, and as stress free as her office was, having her come to our house is even better--the animals are just more relaxed at home. I have used Desert Bloom Mobile vet to treat and maintain the health of my two Great Danes. Those of you that know anything about danes, know that they can big fraidy-cats. Taking them to the vet was a huge hassle, and a crazy fur-flying time-consuming experience. Having Dr. Molina and her team come to the house has been a god-send. She loves the dogs, and her and her team is so great with them. It is so convenient and awesome not to take them anywhere to get great medical care - I can get it in the convenience of my home. Dr Molina was excellent face to face and with my kitties! I couldn't continue with their service however, because after 4 attempts to arrange a follow up phone call with Dr. Molina her office staff and assistant refused to allow me to talk to Dr on the phone and insisted on an email to the staff who would relay word for word what Dr Molina said in response to my email. I referred Desert Bloom to a friend and unfortunately the tech who spoke to my friend was unable to explain the reasoning behind some policy again poor communications - alas - I found another vet! I found Dr Molina through a yelp search. I didn't want to have to drag my 2 rotties and 2 Shih Tzu pups to a vet. The vet I had been using was nice but the drive was always an interesting adventure plus my dogs would be scared to death. Dr Molina was awesome from the moment she and her assistant stepped though our door. She was very good with all our dogs and thorough in their care. She was easy to talk to and understanding of all our needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vet. I thought having a mobile vet would be expensive but the cost was the same that I would have paid taking my dogs in. A lot of vets are wary of my rotties but she had no qualms or fears in dealing with them. My wife and I loved her from the start and we will be using her and Desert Bloom Mobile Veterinary Service from here on out!! Thank you so much Dr Molina.
