We brought my dog in three weeks ago to urgent care. We saw Dr Meredith and we feel that she did an excellent job of examining her and finding her pain. We were very happy with the front desk and also with our call, being able to let them know we were on our way so they were expecting us. I love that we were put straight into a room because my dog isn't good with other dogs. It was such a nice exam room with two nice chairs and a window. The medical assistant was great as well. Very kind and professional.

    Don't wanna be here.

Unfortunately I recently had to send my Basset off to the big playground in the sky. She had a ruptured gallbladder which led to pancreatitis. They ran the tests and assured me there was no way we could have seen this coming or done anything to prevent it, which was something we needed to know so we didn't spend the rest of our lives wondering if there was something more we could have done. The tests weren't cheap, but they were well worth the money for the peace of mind they provided. Normally we have a service come to our house for this, so our loved ones can pass away peacefully in familiar surroundings, but she was in such pain that this wasn't an option. Our biggest concern was that she would be put to sleep on a sterile metal table surrounded by terrifying strangers, but they have a special room set aside in their office, which is away from other animals barking and which provides a calming experience for both the animals and owners. They were very sympathetic and professional about it. It broke our hearts having to let her go, but but at least she found some peace and wasn't additionally traumatized by the experience.

Maybe some better options if you don't want to get screwed‍

Horribly overpriced and didn't resolve ANYTHING! They wouldn't even see my cat until they checked credit limit on account, sent me home with 7 pills totaling over $32 and when I asked them to approve a Chewy order to get pills at a reduced price, they wouldn't approve order. Chewy charges $8 for 90 100 mg capsules of Gabapentin and they charged me about $25 for 4 capsules. They just called to let me know that they would decline order as they don't get any money if it's ordered from Chewy. They are clearly just in it for profit. I spent almost $800 there yesterday for a few tests. I'm absolutely disgusted with this place!!!!!

Our doggy went in and all the staff was very helpful. The place had no wait at all and was very clean and organized and the vet technician was honest with us and didn't seem like they were trying to give us any services our little one didn't need. Really happy we went here will definitely come again.

Rocky was our female friend and companion... and will be missed.

Our 18 year old Cat Rocky had to be euthanized, and this staff went out of their way to be kind and caring thru-out the process, even though it was 8pm at night. Our normal Vet closed at Noon that day. We even received a staff-signed sympathy card from 1st Pet a few days later. We were touched by the total experience. Thank you to all of the staff there! You have earned our Business for our remaining cats. It will be a huge relief going forward knowing that 24-hour care is available at our time of need.

Scarlett -2 weeks post op... This was her experience from day one, just smiles and no discomfort.

We initially called them when we were headed their way, to get their thoughts, and did appreciate them giving us some insight on the phone. We opted to stop in to be on the safe side. It was a bit quieter this time around, so we were able to get in a room right away and seen relatively quickly. It was a very much a "Got to rule out the options" type situation that required a bit more guesswork. Based on the initial intake, they recommended a blood panel, a SNAP panel (bloodwork specifically for ticks), X-rays and possible CT. We decided to start with the bloodwork, to minimize putting our dog through more procedures than necessary. They also have a relatively quick turn around time of 20-30 minutes for the results, making it easy to proceed if necessary. The tech we spoke with was nice, but a little brisk and not super helpful which inquiring on the next steps/options. She did mention a CT may be required and was helpful in getting prices and options for same day if needed. We did get the blood work results back, about an hour later, and Dr. Robinson came to speak with us, with a good news, bad news sitch. He had gotten an infection from a tick and his body was having trouble clotting and fighting it off, hence the nosebleed. She did a great job explaining and laying out all the details. Luckily, it was in the treatable phase and she ran through the prescriptions and care that would be required and let us know they would bring back the medication and Roni shortly. About an hour plus later...they bring him back, His nose had not stopped bleeding the entire time! Not their fault, it was uncontrollable, and they attempted, but was just not really treatable. We ended up spending about 4 1/2 hours there, most of that time which was not with our dog. All the initial exams and what not I understand, but getting the results and talking to the doctor, and still waiting another hour after the fact, seemed longer than necessary and we just felt bad for our pup, because we would have rather been with our dog waiting, then him in the back while waiting alone. A few other key details: It's $190 regardless for your pet to be examined, which you need to pay up front. Any other services, you pay for if you decide to proceed. They have two entrances, one for cats and one for dogs. it leads to the same space, but has separate sides to the same counter which is nice. The Dr recommended Nexgard (Tick treatment), which they do not have onsite, we had inquired if we could order from Chewy digitally, they said yes, but turns out they cannot. They do send home a paper prescription, but something to keep in mind or double check on. Overall, very grateful they figured out what was wrong and took care of him. The space was clean and staff was overall friendly. Their prices seem reasonable as well. A bit more communication would have been appreciated, especially regarding time, or at least updates so we knew he was okay and maybe a bit more guidance on what treatments make the most sense. They do a great job and though I hope you never need to go to the emergency vet, they are a great 24 hour accessible options.

I received 3 calls from the various vets on duty and each time they were informative and kind. My regular vet had already been notified within about 12 hours of admission and they called to check on us. The only hesitation of have is the cost of services. It seems very expensive. Medication that they provided when we took the pup home cost $62.38 for 30 pills. The price for 120 tabs from Chewy is $25.08.
