Shopping for an upcoming travel, I needed a few things and I knew this outlet would have some items I wanted. It's always a win when you find an outlet with deals in each store. There are a lot of high end stores like Fendi, Versace, and Jimmy Choo, just to name a few. There was also a few affordable luxury like Coach, Michael, Kors, and Kate Spade. I stopped in the Adidas store and boy did I score some great deals. This is an open air outlet and it gets hot! Bring comfy shoes, sunscreen and a hat. There are a few restaurants throughout the property. Parking is free and accommodating for people with raised vehicles. The clearance of a vehicle was 7'2". Clean restrooms throughout the property. The water fountains are a nice feature on hot days. There are plenty of shaded seating areas while shopping.

An outdoor mall, walkways throughout the shops with escalators, stairs, ramps and crossing streets. On the far west end is McDonald's, EV charging and gas stations. Entrance 4 has nice lounge seating areas right in front of Clark's & ugg stores. One restroom area is right next to the coach store. By the south side exit door. Staff inform you of their deal that day. Selections can sell out quickly on popular sizes. On the far east side is Hadley's fruit orchard store, Chipotle & in n out near casino Morongo. Deals on past season designer brands. Always packed the Friday after Thanksgiving. Be prepared if you're planning to head out in the afternoon. Freeway will have traffic to get into the shopping center & parking structure. Front row parking in structure and kids wagon strollers by the elevators with extra cost. Nearby homes will offer parking in their driveways for a fee. It's a mad dash for deals.

Not sure how my review erased but I don't mind giving another one!!! This is the best outlet in Cali!! They have absolutely everything!! From designer such as : Balenciaga, Gucci, golden goose, and now Skims!! I always find very good deals here!! And during the holidays they have really good deals, though it's super crowded the lines go fast and it's worth it. You find literally stuff that's 50% off. They have a really good nice Burberry store here that always has good deals at all times. It was so crowded this time around that I did not make it to the other side of the outlets, but I will be back in a couple weeks to finish all my Christmas shopping. However, this is the outlet I go to yearly and at least two or three times a year because they always have really nice things and good deals. I love how they have the high-end luxury stores and the affordable stores that we all love as well. The parking is sometimes a headache, but they do have parking available if you want to park valet. They have good service and very good selections for the most part. I would definitely say save up throughout the year for some nice quality clothing/purses etc. this is the place to shop!! -Marshay D.

Just a short drive from Palm springs and morongo casino is Desert hills. An endless, endless, endless number of overpriced stores that everyone will love. Everything is very expensive but 50%, 60% and 70% off. Mrs. Yelper and anyone like her would very much enjoy being here. Not a lot of places to eat, which makes sense, because it's for shopping. I found a few shirts at a Columbia outlet but that's about it. I am not the demographic for this place.

Desert Hills Premium Outlets is never a bad idea to pop into, especially when you have a little time to browse. There are a ton of stores, but I really like how the center is broken up into multiple shopping areas because it keeps things feeling manageable instead of overwhelming. You get the usual outlet staples alongside some higher end luxury brands, which definitely sets this spot apart from other outlet malls. Since it's outdoors, it's actually pleasant to walk around, enjoy the sunshine, and get some fresh air while shopping. I find it easy to wander without a strict plan and just see what catches my eye. Desert Hills Premium Outlets makes shopping feel more like a casual outing than a chore, which is always a win in my book.

YELP SHORT ANSWER: Yes, amazing... bring large wallet, credit cards, crypto, or gold bouillon. LOCATION: Not too long ago it all was just sand and worthless dirt next to the 10 Freeway but this area has transformed into a beautiful gigantic outdoor mall, lots of parking but take your chances during peak season. Looks safe enough to park your Bentley. LODGING: If you're a hard core shopper you can stay nearby at Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa located next door in Cabazon (check reviews). You can also inquire about shuttles for Palm Springs area resorts. FACILITY: Very new looking, fresh modern, and very clean. Seems to function very well for shoppers and employees but a lot of walking, you can get your 10,000 steps in very easily. FOOD: Ate outside at Birba and had a great time, not too busy and the staff there were fun and excellent to interact with. I will do a separate review on Birba but it had great value. They also had a branded Starbucks and a separate food court that did not look great and prices were kind of steep. SHOPS: You will find 180 high, high-end, and luxury brand shops here. If shopping when it is warm and you want to Visit a luxury brand store like Gucci or Christian Louboutin, plan on standing in line as they have guarded entry and only allow a limited amount of people in the store at a time so wear sunscreen and a hat. TIP: If this is your first visit and you have a lot of excess cash, plan on spending, and I do mean spending, most of a day here. It is worth it and some of the shops do have great pricing.

This is an amazing outlet to visit while visiting Palm Springs. There are a lot of stores in this outlet such as Saint Laurent , Gucci, Lululemon , Alo, Long Champ to name a few. The stores I visited most of them had really amazing employees. Customer service was really good. This outlet is perfect to visit during holidays since there is a variety of stores. It is perfect to buy gifts for the people on the list. Prices for certain items are cheaper than the stores in the mall. For parking, there is plenty of parking spots; therefore, finding parking spot is not issue at all.

Shopping really is one of the best stress relievers for women, and the real purpose isn't just buying things, it's about the mood and the experience. I honestly haven't had this much fun shopping at an outlet in years. The environment is so much better than it was a few years ago. There are plenty of seating areas everywhere to rest, and so many stylish new stores to explore. The dining options haven't completely caught up yet, but I'm hopeful they'll continue to improve. The three of us shopped for six hours straight and somehow didn't even feel that tired. Looking forward to coming back more often, and hopefully seeing even better discounts next time!

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this outlet. It's hands down my favorite outlet in southern California and I've been to many. Once or twice a year I would make the effort to drive out here to find some good deals and styles. I never leave empty handed, but the amount I spend fluctuates. I always spend longer than I expect to, but that is why I take solo trips out here so that I can definitely take my time and go at my own pace. My favorite stores would be ysl, tory burch, Coach, lululemon, and Prada. Last time I was here, a few stores closed but some are opening. For instance, Skims has an official location here now, but Express, furla, and Forever21 closed and Victoria's Secret is reopening. Some other stores you can find here are Gucci, Jimmy choo, Kate spade, Celine, Cristian Louboutin, Diesel, and more. They have supposedly 180 stores plus morongo next door if you want to test your luck or eat at the buffet. Before the pandemic, they had an amazing lobster buffet but no more. After the pandemic, market place buffet opened up, but I spent the whole day shopping from 1130-830 so I didn't get to try it out. I'll be back probably again in 2026, and I am sure i won't be disappointed!

This outlet center does a good job despite the desert heat. Once inside, the stores are cool and comfortable, which is a big relief. The escalators in the middle make it easy to get around, and the overall layout is convenient. Good variety of stores we found some of my farvorite stores, my wife and got stuff for the kids. You know I like outltet prices. Staff across the stores were friendly and helpful. A solid shopping stop, especially if you need a break from the road.

Overpriced and underwhelming. When you pick the pizza slice up all the ingredients slide right off.

Desert Hills Premium Outlets Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Desert Hills Premium Outlets

What is the least crowded day to shop?

Weekdays when they open with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday being the best three days.

Do I have to worry about car break-ins at the parking garage?

I have been there many times and I haven't had an issue. I would make sure not to have anything valuable visible from outside the car just as a precaution.

List of stores at Cabezon outlets?

Google cabezon outlets and on their Home page there will be a drop down which lists all the stores.

    Is there an Ecco outlet?

    No.

Are the Christian louboutin cheaper here or the same price as the online store?

Cheaper. It's an outlet store. Not their regular retail store.

What day(s) are least busy at Desert Hills Outlets?

During non-holiday, Monday to Thursday are not as busy.

Are the shops open on Dec 26, 2022?

Yes. 10 AM- 9 PM on Monday, 12/26/2022

Is dooney and bourke still open or permanently closed?

There is no Dooney and Bourke outlet in this center. According to their website, there are 2 D & B outlets in Florida only.

Is there a sports ke sac?

Did you mean lesportsac? No there isn't one

Is there a line to enter the shops?

Desert Hills can crazy on the weekends. To avoid that, I usually go during the week. On Tuesday, November 1, from 3 pm. until 6 pm, it was very quiet. I was the only shopper in many stores.…

Is there a Louis Vuitton outlet there?

No, I was hoping they do too. They have Gucci, Prada, Fendi .....

    Is Burberry open?

Yes, they open. My family just went there last week.

How is the mcm store? Are the prices and variety worth a 2 hour drive?

I don't tend to buy at this store but it is 100% worth the drive for all stores Usually they have a 30% off on selected items

Is there a bus that goes there from LA?

I do not know. I stayed in the area while visiting the Outlets.

Anybody knows do they have luggage storage?

I did not see lockers however you can call their management office or security office to double check on this link: https://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlet/desert-hills/about

Do they have a locker section?

    yes

    Is it pet friendly?

Service pets for sure. Others are probably ok, but I would have a little water for them if it's hot. The concrete can be quite hot in the summer.

Does the YSL store have a lot of selection?

YSL has a TON of selection. If you are good with last years options or even a few years ago ... many items are heavily discounted.... You will be very happy because it is a very large store.

Hey guys! What about the Prada store? Are there many good deals? Does it worth driving from LA? Thank you!

Nothing here is worth the drive. If you're going to be spending the weekend in the desert and want to swing by, cool, otherwise save your time and gas.

How are the price at the saint Laurent store?

When I went it was like half the price of the YSL purse I got from the boutique BUT they only have colors ppl don't usually want like bright blue or red. The colors they get are random so you just have to try your luck.

I love the leather and how every single one of their exquisitely crafted handbags (and sunglasses) always stand out from the sea of luxury brands and in a good way. To me... Gucci and Fendi have become quite watered down in their branding and have experienced too much of the worldwide knock-off phenomenon. However, my experience with a sales associate wasn't that great. I felt like I am not well assisted. Everyone was so nice, the security and other SA are approachable, except for the one assigned to me. At first he obviously scanned me twice from head to foot while others are smiling (I don't really mind the stare. I encountered a lot of them in other luxury boutiques) but when I ask for sizes, he is so cold, passive and he keeps on saying no to everything. I thought of asking for another SA but I want to be respectful. I also thought if I did something bad that offended him but I know I stayed calm and quiet during my stay. If he could send me out of the store, I am sure he already did. I just started shopping that day so I decided to visit other designer stores. Hours later, I think they noticed me passing back and forth at their door with a bunch of shopping bags. He came out of the store and asked me if I wanted to try the items I asked for hours ago, this time, he said they have all the sizes I requested but I politely declined his offer with a fake smile. I have decided not to shop at any BV outlets or boutiques unless it is in the usual store where I buy my stuffs. BV should be more careful in hiring people. SA like him should not be working in these kinds of boutiques if he does not have an accommodating attitude. Buyers come in this kind of places to shop expecting an ethical approach just like other shops whether it is luxury or not. What a great disappointment from BV. I hope managements pay attention to this. Clue: the SA is an Asian guy with, I am not sure if he has some skin allergies or a disease but it looks unpleasant.
