I guess people are right when they said this was one of the best thrift stores in the desert. At first I didn't realize that there's another location just past downtown Palm Springs tucked inside a strip mall. Then there's this location, which I believe maybe a bigger one. Just off the main strip of East Palm Canyon, you won't miss it. There's plenty of parking which is always a major plus. Right when you walk in, of course you can tell it's a thrift store. One side is where all homes goods and furniture is located and the opposite is where the clothing are. There's quite a big home section which I was quite surprised. Deals were great for some of the things I saw. Pretty much loads of items and well priced. But right in the middle of the store, there's more furniture but it seems to be more of the higher end collection. A good selection on mid century and modern pieces which looked pretty new. They're a bit pricer than you would normally think for a second hand shop but still pretty affordable. Clothing wise, I didn't scan through it as I was just browsing the furniture and accessories. You can score some gems there if you look around. Some things looked amazing but prices were a bit on the expensive side for what it was. It's a pretty cool place to just pop in to see what they carry. Who knows, you could find some amazing gems. read more

WOW! Thanks Yelp Friends, this place is awesome and we only had time to check out this ONE store. I can only imagine what a day spent checking out all the Revivals stores would be like! It was pretty busy for a weekday, but this store had the 70s music playing and me - and a few other Boogie Souls - a groovin'! So many cool MCM pieces - both new and used - and great prices. I'm thinking these must come from liquidators and estate sales, as well as donations. There are SO MANY items I loved with nowhere to put them. Thankfully, we also had no room, save for a couple of nooks in the car we managed to cram the books and silly trinkets we found to bring home. I told Hubs, 'We are DEF coming back here with a large vehicle, A LOT of donations, a budget and no common sense!' Always a fresh collection of clothing, furniture, electronics and home goods and appliances, the staff of mostly volunteers is enough of a reason to frequent the stores almost daily! The Cathedral City is especially popular for me, since it's located closest but I also visit the Palm Springs and Palm Desert locations often. Great deals, easy 48 hour returns on any purchases that require being plugged into an electrical outlet. I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about Revivals! It's my favorite resale store in the entire valley! read more

Well of course I also love this revivals but not as much (still a 5 star place). I don't find the same selection and items we are interested in so we do visit this place but its not as high priority. With any second hand store that is of course a matter of taste and the time period when we shop. Still a nicely organized store and great people. read more

First of all, I'm not a major thrifter - if anything, I am a donation queen. But, there are times when I want to rescue something old to use for a project, and a thrift store is the ideal place to find that sort of thing. I was on the hunt for old teapots to be made into hanging planters for a friend, so stopped in to see what may be on the shelves. There were lots of shoppers there and plenty of staff on hand, with this kind of positive buzz going on with customers oohing and ahhhing with delight as they found some treasure for a bargain price. Yes, the prices here are very good; designer and vintage items not being sold anywhere near their value. It is a huge store with lots of merch, and organized very well. I found about 10 teapots, but passed on them because they didn't have the look I was going for. But I will be returning to scan the shelves again because Revivals gets the best donations from high end estates and...donation queens like me. And the profits go to a great cause - AIDS charities and support. read more

Drove 25 minutes out here to discover they closed 5 minutes early and wouldn't let me in. I just needed to grab a china teapot set for a party. It would have taken me 2 minutes to grab a set and pay for it. The two people at the counter (a short, dark-haired lady and a tall, older grey-haired man) would not come to the door to unlock it and they both immediately left the center counter and swiftly walked to the back to ignore me. The store could have made a quick $100, but instead they lost that and had to pay these two "hard-working" individuals for 5 minutes extra of labor that they didn't really work. read more

There are several Revivals in the Coachella Valley. I've been to all but Indio. Today, I came to Revivals for wedding outfit shopping for me pre-teen son who wears men's medium. I went all over the area to Angel View and Revival shops. This one was my last stop. This Revivals is right off 111. It is big like all the Revivals. It has used and new furniture. You have to go to all Revivals because there is always something special that you might find. Fortunately for me, I found the dress shirt, suit jacket and dress shoes here at this location. If you have a student ID, you can get 10% on top of the savings. I spent 19 dollars for all 3 items. The service here is great. Everyone is nice. After going in between Revivals and Angel View resale stores, I will say I prefer Revivals. They are much bigger in size. They separate their clothes by size and color. Their prices are also much better. Angel View does not give student discount. I bought a tie there for $ 4.99. All Tues at Revivals are $2. The return policy is far better at Revivals. Angel View does not refund or exchange. I will be going to Revivals from now on. read more

Revivals USED to be my favorite place to shop for clothes - great prices and selection - it made buying work clothes very affordable whenever we visited the PS area. Fast forward a few years and retirement, we decided to visit PS on the way home from a road trip. I was looking forward to getting some shorts and jeans. The organization of the clothes on the racks makes sense - grouped by size, making it easier to see if you can find anything you like in your size. I picked out some shorts and a pair of jeans - and looked around for a changing room to try them on. When I asked a person working there he looked irritated and was curt and said no more changing rooms. You have 2 days to return anything "that doesn't work" with a receipt. Since we don't live in the area, I put everything back on the racks and left. Very disappointed since I'd rather be supporting this business than the other thrift store in the area. I ended up visiting both locations of the other store and purchased from them instead. Being a fixed income retiree makes it necessary to shop thrift. It'd be nice to consider your out of town customers! And maybe be a little more courteous service wise (Maybe they're volunteers? In which case, maybe choose another worthy cause to volunteer at that makes you happier?) read more

Getting there: Located right off of Palm Canyon, from the 111 you can turn directly into the parking lot. Experience: I have only been here to drop off donations. If I wasn't in such a rush today I would have went inside to look around. The drop off is really easy! You pull around the side and bring your donations up the ramp. Sometimes someone is sitting there, other times you may have to go find someone. All in all, I like this place. read more

We shopped here occasionally over the past couple of years and never had any issues. The last few visits, this store literally reeks of sewage!! The first time this happened we thought someone had had an "accident" but the same horrible smell was there the last time we went a few weeks ago and again yesterday. I literally started gagging and we had to leave. I don't understand why the store is open while there is obviously something seriously wrong with the plumbing or septic system. The prices are also quite high at this location. That combined with the smell is enough incentive never to return. read more

There was some okay stuff in here but, oh my gosh, I couldn't believe how expensive things were. We were on vacation and we wanted to buy a couple of books for our child, so we headed here to get some for cheap. The kids books were junk and like $5+ each. Even used coloring books and old, falling apart paperback picture books. Their pricing seemed weird though. Dishes and glassware did seem reasonable, but furniture was way overpriced. I didn't really check out the clothing section, so can't comment much on that. This pricing might be normal for southern CA, but I'm confident in saying at least the books were way more than they should have been. We walked out without buying anything. read more

6/17/24, about 12:15pm. When I was told no eating in a revivals store realizing ooops, I shouldn't and was attempting to put the M&Ms in my purse. A worker, male, at least 6'1"tall, was in extremely close proximity to me (less than a foot), kept saying no eating in store, I said I was going outside, but he kept harping on it, then called us savages and then two of them which included that worker and another worker decided it was laughable and pointing fingers as we walked out the door, of course fussing about the workers' behavior. I've spent money at all the revivals in the Coachella Valley, but revivals Cathedral City always throws attitude and this guy in particular. NOTHING WAS EATEN IN THE STORE. Shame on them!! Mark with the bad skin was so rude when I last went in to revivals and I haven't been back since due to his horrendous customer service. The second I got to the counter he gave me the nastiest look and attitude I don't know if he was having a bad day or a bad life or if he was just upset at the fact that I was "interrupting" his conversation with his other co workers but the second he began checking me out he started tossing the items he scanned to the side. He then asked if I was a student for a discount and when I said yes he rudely stated I needed to show proof. At the time I didn't have my wallet so when I told him I did not have my wallet he began to scold me saying "I told you last time you needed it" to which I replied "I hardly ever come to this revivals and I've never even met you" to which all he replied to was "ok" again with such a nasty attitude. I've only ever been to this revivals two other times as it's very out of my way and will not be returning because not only was I treated like a child with absolutely no respect from a stranger while pregnant but when I called to complain I was refused the opportunity to speak with a manager. Avoid this place at all costs the employees seem to think they run the store and can do whatever they want for a charitable organization. read more

Writing to concur as a first-time customer that the staff is very lacking in customer service and at least one employee has an extremely salty personality. However, they have a variety of pretty reasonable thrift items in pretty great good condition. The items appear to be very clean or even pristine condition. Some items seem to be intermixed so it is unclear what is considered housewares and decorative and what is considered a toy which is relevant when the housewares and decorative is marked 50% off. Don't try to ask them for clarification, however, because they will respond as if there is something clearly wrong with your cognitive abilities. I would think the simple solution would seem to be to categorize items correctly to avoid confusion and make the shopping experience efficient and pleasant for both the customer and employee alike. I feel there is little chance that someone misplaced the item as there were a total of four similar items located in what I had believed to be the housewares and decorative area. Now I understand it must have been the housewares, decorative, and TOY area. read more

There are three Revivals locations in the valley. We just purchased a vacation home very close to this location and have been in several times to look for furniture, lighting, and decorating items. Used items can be hit-or-miss, depending on the donations made, however the new furniture (Mode and Scott Brother products) seem to be a pretty good deal, especially when they have a sale, like on Black Friday. We ended up buying new bar stools and a couple used bedroom furniture items and night-stand lights. All of their employees are super friendly and actually go out of their way to help you. They don't deliver, but they can refer you to a local delivery service, which we took advantage of. Revivals is a community-focused company and 100% of their profits benefit the Desert AIDS Project. read more

My only gripe is some of the designer pieces are priced a little high for not being able to try things on as the dressing rooms were not functional. My husband and I decided to take a trip to palm springs for Thanksgiving for we were coming to see our grandchildren. Being the awesome Grandma and Grandpa we are, I like to get our little kiddies some toys and have some quality time with my hubby. We saw on Yelp that it was voted best consignment store in palm springs, boy were we happy! We knew we found the right place; or that's what we thought... We pulled up into the parkway and it was huge, I'm surprised a thirft store could be bigger than Goodwill. To be quite frank, everything took a turn the moment we stepped foot into that store. We immediately got smacked into the face with this horrid, poopy smell! It was worse than getting hit in the face with a hacky sack. We decided to be the brave family we are and continued to shop. They had a wide variety of clothing and my granddaughter browsed that area for the whole time we were in the store but my grandson wanted to find toys but they had none! If you wanted to bring your kiddos to this store to buy some toys, I would suggest against it. I mostly looked at their furniture, I must say, they had quite the load. There was this neat green couch that I would've bought if I was not on vacation. As we neared the end of our visit at this sewage palace, my granddaughter ended up finding this beautiful bra with pretty flowers on it as well as some pajamas. I gave her $10 and she went up to the cashier and checked out. Everyone was extremely relieved to be out of the store and smelling the hot air, that felt so fresh at the time. When we were back in our van, my granddaughter told me the cashier was making comments about what girls wore back in his day and how it changed now. My granddaughter is 16 years old and wore nothing of the sort that he described! I cannot believe he said those things to her! He even made a comment about what she bought, the worker should just be happy we were buying from that place. That stinky place. That poop that's been sitting in the toilet for days place. I would've really liked to leave a nice review for this store but as the experiences prevailed, turns out it was destined to get a poopy review for a poopy smelling poopy store. read more
