I purchased a bag for my husband and he didn't like it because it's cheap materials, especially the metal buckle is very thin and slim for a Laptop bag. The salesperson didn't tell me it's the final sale and no return. We went back within 7 days and was told we can't return it. After a long unfriendly talk, finally the store manager allow us to do an exchange. But nobody would even help us with the different items. We had to spent another thousand bucks to exchange to another bag. Prada used to be a very high-end brand that provides very good quality and very good service, it's so sad to see the way they handle their business and treat their customers poorly. Prada Desert Hills? Girl, No. I'm from L.A. and stopped by the Prada outlet in Desert Hills on my way to Palm Springs, thought I'd do a little shopping and maybe treat myself. Big mistake. One of the sales ladies (a Mexican or Maybe an Armenian woman working there) had the nastiest attitude. I tried to speak to her, made full on eye contact and she just looked away like I was invisible. I literally had to say "excuse me" just to get acknowledged, and even then, she acted like I was bothering her for daring to ask a question. Like babe, you work at Prada, not running the place. Jonathan is amazing and was the reason I came to the store! Upon arrival, my daughter and I were followed around the store. I ignored the behavior initially because I understand how ignorant people are at times. One employee made it very obvious he was watching; he turned to his colleague and said, "Watch them." The colleague then approached and told me I wasn't allowed to "look at the stuff in the drawer." In fact, we had not only looked at the items we wanted to buy but also through all the drawers, and nobody said anything until the guy said "watch them" At that point, I said, "Don't profile me." The guy who claimed to be the manager said, "I don't believe they said that." Instead of apologizing, the manager made an excuse for the behavior. This exchange was unwarranted. This is the worst store to visit when visiting the Cabazon Outlets. First of all it's an OUTLET for Crying out loud and second the workers have NO ownership yet act like they own the store! This workers are super rude, you can stand around for 30 mins before they decide they want to notice you and when you ask them for assistance, they hesitate to even move and whisper amongst themselves as if that's not obvious. Prada doesn't stand by its quality . Bought a pair of shoes turns out they were defective . Brought them back for repair at no cost because they were defective. They told me it would take anywhere from 3-5 months for repair because they need to be shipped out . Turned out that they were repaired in house and it's my fault that the soles were coming off the shoe . They were BRAND NEW! And were sold to me like that so they charged me an additional $85. Apparently this is how Prada does business . They sell you damaged goods for you to bring back and pay an additional fee for their error. read more

I've never had any bad service here but I'm disappointed with where their goods are manufactured these days. Several years ago Prada leather goods were made in Italy. I loved their nylon and saffiano leather items. I still have a black nylon messenger that I've had for almost 10 years and it looks fabulous. Now none of their items are made in Italy; most (if not all) of their items are now made in Romania or China. Ugh. Now, I know many of you are thinking, "So what? If it's made with the same materials and using the same methods, the end product should be just as good." Yes, maybe, but my issue with this is that Prada is only trying to increase their already high profit margins by using factories in China and Romania. I mean, let's face it, when you buy anything designer, you are buying into the name, there's no way around it. These bigwigs are already suckering me into buying their stuff. But when I find a Made in Romania paper tag hidden behind your infamous Prada Milano tag, I feel doubly suckered. Pros: the store is huge, a lot of the items are heavily discounted, and the staff is nice. There are always a ton of Asian tourists here; one time I came there was a line out the door. If you are a label whore and like Prada, come check this out because the deals are rather good. Unfortunately for me, I can't justify spending money on something that is made in China. If I wanted a high quality Made in China bag, I'd rather go to Coach, Dooney, or Kate Spade. At least the prices are much cheaper and there is more leather. read more

I found a Miu Miu handbag $892 on sale, retail $2,500 per Kim the store manager. Prada sandal's $300 and a beautiful Gold Prada wallet for $380. Total $1,697.76 I was informed no refunds on sale items and store credit on the shoes or wallet. I accepted and initialed the receipts. Here is where it goes South very fast. My next work day, I pull out the shoes to confirm the size. I had this gnawing feeling something was wrong. I even made the sales person confirm the size before I bought them. So, back to my work morning. As I search, my Prada shoes for the size, under the strap is stamped "MADE IN CHINA". Need I say anything more? A fast 911 call to Kim the manager and she states she must email her boss in New York. I also needed to return the purse as I could not carry the heavy leather on my shoulder ( medical issues) once all my goods were in the handbag. Anyway, she calls back, an exception is made they will take the shoes back and credit my credit card. But not the handbag. I agree. When I got home from work I thought I better check everything. Yup! My handbag for $892 was "MADE IN TURKEY" This time I was not agreeable. I called the store ASAP. My point was this... If PRADA has no shame in having their goods made in other countries, then the retailer, i.e., PRADA Cabazon should have a disclaimer sign that says... We sell PRADA MADE IN CHINA AND TURKEY. And my guess is, they don't do this because 90% of buyers if not ALL, would put their potential buys back on the shelf. PRADA made in China is also where knock off's come from. I'm a snob shopper maybe, but I also value my dollar. Get a knock from CHINA for $100 bucks not over a grand! So I called American Express and filed a dispute, that PRADA CABAZON deceived me as a consumer by with -holding where the products were made and refusing to give my credit back on my card. Wish me luck. AND BE SMART.. Search your items for the label or stamp on the leather for where it is made. BTW, my Gold wallet is stamped, MADE IN ITALY. I have never really liked the customer service at this outlet boutique. In my personal opinion feels they are nice to you when you are buying some thing but different when you are returning. Going to have to write another review for my second visit. Lets break it down. 1) Smaller selection of shoes. The options for heels were pitiful. 2) Snarky staff. My friend and I walked in with casual clothes. My friend was dressed in a very "laid back" outfit. As I was looking at the shoes, I heard a staff member go "Who are they?", and another goes "Spring Break". First of all, who the fuck are you to ask who we are. We had a few questions and he seemed really bothered to answer them. We decided to leave and let the the employee at the front of the store know that the gentleman that was "helping" us was not very friendly. Not sure why all the bad reviews, but the entire staff was super nice and helpful today! A few associates greeted me inside at different sections of the store and knew to give me room to browse. Bought a bag and wanted to know if the dimensions of a tote organizer would fit. They brought a measuring tape out to help me and offered suggestions on similar bags in different colors on sale. I love Couture, hate paying retail for it. That being said Prada is my one of my favorite designers and most of my dresses and shoes are Prada. They just happen to fit me best (casual, but chic, not too tight, perfect for all occasions) as for the shoes, they always stand out in design and win me over in comfort.
